I kept my old number and guess what, I do receive calls but not text messages. This is so frustrating

Bought a plan. Request port in. All fail. The new card can not be used. My number was gone. Trying to contact human agent through Lyca website but no one response. *** Thanks to the Lyca team’s assistance regarding Trustpilot, everything has now been resolved. However, I’m curious why Lyca hasn’t been able to fix the issue with its website live chat, which would make resolving problems much easier.

This has to be the most useless provider in the UK. I was charged for a bundle renewal and apparently, I cancelled the plan before I could even use it because I wanted to move my number to another provider. The customer rep said she has requested for a refund that will take 7-10 working days for me to receive it. After the 10th working day, I rang again and the agent said it would drop in the next 2-3 days. It's been more than 15 working days and I haven't received my refund yet. I do not want to deal with companies that are not honest in their dealings. Avoid them if you can. Thanks
My phone was stolen, and I contacted customer service to blacklist the device and get a proof of usage for my insurance claim. I made the request over 10 days ago, and still, nothing has been done! I’ve followed all their instructions, confirmed everything they asked for, and yet I’m still waiting. Meanwhile, my insurance company has already sent me a reminder because I'm delayed, thanks to Lycamobile’s complete lack of urgency or care. Not to mention, it’s nearly impossible to have a proper conversation with their call centre staff — you can barely understand most of them. This has been my worst customer service experience ever. No proper updates, no accountability, just endless waiting. If you value your time or need real support in emergencies, avoid Lycamobile at all costs!
'Free' EU roaming is not unlimited. Bought a 100GB plan for travelling abroad and using data. After a day our signal kept cutting out so we though something was wrong with the E-sim. We tried various APN settings to no avail. Called them the next day to find out the attractive and cheap plan that we bought has a cap of 12GB roaming, this is only mentioned in a tiny drop-down menu on their website. When calling the number they suggest to check how much data etc you have left it doesn't specify anything about roaming hence our confusion. Very disappointed, chose someone else for the remainder of our holiday. Advice would be to make it clearer that this is the case as roaming was the only use we had for this plan. Otherwise the signal was good and everything worked until we were cut off.
Absolutely horrendous company to deal with. Despite sending the (laborious) cancellation form 24hrs to the support email address after new contract started (it was a test sim for an area signal check), it was totally ignored, a chase eventually got a reply apologising and then even asking the same cancellation questions as was in the form, which was replied to and a timeline of events clearly laid out. And then the cheek of it they took another months payment as though all was still live! My credit card company will be sorting this to try get my money back. Absolute shambles. Avoid.
I got unlimited data and for some reason ran out 3 days later then I paid another 25 when it ran out and I've still not been able to get any data at all ? So 50 quid of unlimited data for three days worth
Received an unlimited sim, got cut off a few days after for unfair usage. No warning text, no reduced speed, just straight up cut off with no explanation until I called them. How can a company sell something stating its unlimited, when it's clearly not, and there's obviously a hard cap on the usage. It's mind-blowing, and I would never consider recommending this company to anyone because of it. Thank God I decided to go pay as you go instead of a contract. Bullet dodged.
Apart from my error when ordering the SIM card I have to say the process was easy and I now have 5g with brilliant speeds, I had to call customer service re my error with the SIM card they answered within 5 minutes and were very supportive. Great Value also….. Number Port still to go….

Put SIM card in work phone. Hardly any signal keeps dropping in and out both indoors and outdoors. Do not know my phone number so cannot put any credit/bundle on using app. Tried contacting online lia automated customer service. Typed in “live client” to speak to someone. Waited forever then gave up. Very disappointed.Tried a few times still nothing. I used to have an EE sim card in a phone and it worked perfectly, so I know it’s not the network. Very frustrated Anthony
