Lyca takes unauthorised payment for sim not working and doesn’t respond to emails or request for help
I have bought a Lyca SIM card for my mum visiting me in UK in 5th of May. I inserted card topped it up from Lyca website £ 10. The sim didn’t work. I called customer service twice. Each time it took at least half an hour to reach someone. They couldn’t help and the sim didn’t work. I asked refund but they asked me to write complaint email. I wrote an email explaining situation. But I haven’t received response. Couple of days later I received an email that I have become Lyca plan member and they took £ 15 from my card. I disputed the claim via credit card. But it took another £ 25 (10+15) in June and the the bank says I need to cancel it via Lyca as they set up direct debit order which I have never given and I am not using card. I don’t know what to do. It looks like a real fraud as it is impossible to reach to customer service. I think they should be banned from the market. Thanks for reply but the Lyca SIM doesn’t work and I did not choose auto renew. I want to cancel and get refund. I emailed my phone number. Please call me as I can’t reach to customer service.
