This is a neverending scam. They talked me into deleting my first review, but I have to leave another one, because it is the ONLY way to get this company's attention. First, they scam you into switching to them promising wi-fi calling, which is a scam because it won't work in roaming. Second, nothing will work in roaming. I signed up for a plan that initially was supposed to work in all-world roaming, that was a scam (it did not, then Lyca failed to renew it, then for some reason I had two plans, all the while there was zero customer service, in the end I was double paying and nothing worked). I have been in the US three monthis and NOTHING works despite having signal. It is ALL LIES. I cannot even check my UK voicemail! Havent been able to in 3 months. This is an abject disaster. I topped up my account with credit (which they scam you into doing, making you believe that it will make roaming work) and restarted my phone, but I still can't even return a UK text. I have signal -I receive texts, I justcan't respond because Lyca has no roaming. This company is a plague. The first thing I am doing back in the UK is getting as far away from them as I can. ps Support is also a scam, obviously I can't actually call (and I already know they do not have live agent support for PAYG, that is also a lie); i tried app chat and no one ever joined it despite hours of waiting, i sent email and no response. They ONLY ever respond to Trustpilot reviews (guys, to save you time, I just want £10 refund for my top up since I was clickbaited into it by false promises of non-existent "roaming"). PS. Oh! Now they are also lying AND stealing!! Of course!! Their site says roaming in the US text to the UK is 2p. Nope! After 12 hours I managed to send a few sms and got charged 49p for each, eg 24 times the advertised rate! They charge for texts in roaming same as for calls. Do not believe a word they say.
Had an email to say something was auto-renewing despite be not having a number with them for over a year. Tried to login, but of course I don't have the number anymore, so couldn't. No reply from customer services phone number or email
Customer service is shockingly bad! Have had no data for almost a week, can’t get through on the phone and they don’t reply to emails! Rubbish!
Reception at home is : -116 dBm 24 asu This is almost the lowest signal strength the phone can detect before losing connection entirely.
I am fully satisfied for Lyca Mobile swift response and lucky to have as a second mobile Pay as you go mobile phone.
Always great offers for money
Lyca mobile are the biggest scammers I’ve ever dealt with. They advertise a low price then triple the amount at the last minute under the disguise of ‘first payment add ons’. There’s nothing budget friendly about them, just money grabbing and dishonest and they even make it difficult to get in contact with them. Customer service supervisor is also rude and unhelpful and only concerned with getting paid rather than customer satisfaction
The SIM has not been delivered . I called the customer care and they could not find the order number in the system. Please let me know what is going in the process. Kindly check and delivered the SIM or initiate the refund.
I never received my SIM card
Sadly, bad review for internet only sim. Speed is terrible - even just regular pages when just browsing internet takes sooo long to load. Happens in majority of locations I was in. When I’m using my other sim the speed of loading websites is instant. So then I just wanted to cancel the pay as you go contact - no such option on website, autoreneval settings disabled. So after 10 min of frustration I just disabled my card and ordered new card as this is the easiest way to stop paying for service which is borderline useless.

We unfortunately ordered from the wrong company which uses EE and that doesn’t work here. We realised and cancelled within the hour and emailed 3 times to ask them to cancel. Totally ignored all our e mails, kept sending e mails - right through to sending out SIM. So 1 star because they totally ignored us - imagine if you used them and had a problem - they would ignore your communications. So no good.

Unfair Treatment and No Internet Since May 31st – Avoid Lycamobile! My daughters have had no internet access since 31st May despite having unlimited data. We have called Lycamobile multiple times, and received a text message that the issue was resolved but it still isn’t working. It’s been over a week, and there’s been zero progress. This has never happened with any other network we’ve used. It feels like we’re being completely ignored. We paid for a service we didn’t receive. This is not just bad service, it’s unfair and unjust. We expect: Immediate resolution. Compensation for the lost service Unless this is resolved quickly, we’ll be leaving Lycamobile and warning others to stay away. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.
