The service worked well, but they automatically put you down for auto renew and are super shady about it. They then make it literally impossible for you to cancel it, because the app doesn't work to do this, you can't ever reach customer service. It's actually comical that the customer service is so bad; it feels like they are purposefully evading us so they can make money on all the people who didn't realize they are paying for auto renew every month. TL;DR, the service works fine but if you need to contact customer service, you're screwed and they are actively an extremely sketchy company who is trying to steal your money.
Increased my price by almost 200% without warning!! They just took the money out of my account! I was NOT told how long the promotion was at the beginning of my contract. And I was not warned the price would be increasing before it happened!
Agent reassured regarding me enquiry, polite, friendly and knowledgeable.
Coverage signal problems,very bad customer service, I was waiting around 30 minutes nobody was aviable. Site is quite slow sometimes and the speed of 5G in 2025 is quite low, and stability of network is not that good.
Early days but excellent so far with speedy delivery and great network signal.
The website doesn't make it clear that to activate your account you need to purchase a topup NOT a plan bundle. The minimum topup on the Lyca Mobile site is £10 when On Topup offers a £5 minimum. When I called the helpdesk the support agent was unable to make it clear that the topup and bundles were completely separate entities. She ended up cutting the call

Worst mobile service provider ever. If you're considering Lycamobile, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Their customer service is painfully slow, taking ages to respond and even longer to resolve complaints. The network coverage is unreliable, often leaving me with poor signal at the worst possible times. On top of that, they have hidden costs that make billing unpredictable, adding to the frustration. To conclude, Lycamobile is literally rubbish. Definitely Would not recommend to anyone!
Original order of sim card was not delivered as I had to cancel and refunded my money back in May. Had to raise two references to get this sorted. However, it seems the original order number was reused for another customer but the details was still linked to my original order I placed in May, address etc, but I did not received the sim card as suggested as the sim was delivered to somewhere else that is over 200 miles from where I lived! Not great.

I acquired an eSIM with the 50GB plan on Saturday. Four days later, I still have not my plan activated. Wrote three times to customer support and no answer. The thing that worries me most is that in the confirmation e-mail it says that auto renewal is turned on... I hope they reply my e-mails asap. EDIT: Got a reply from Lycamobile through trustpilot. They'll refund me the amount of money. Thanks. EDIT 2: Ordered another sim. Activation properly done in London. Working at speed of light.
This was the worst company to have gotten a sim from. It set to auto renewal without any way of turning auto renewal off on your account. I called and waiting in the help desk for hours only to get connected and immediately disconnected “due to inactivity” when I was very much active. This ended up costing me way more than it should have and the customer support was awful. Took weeks to get back to my email.
Don’t even think of moving from another network provider as I did. Moved to Lycamobile from 3 and it worked for the first 3 months. It’s been already 6 months since my mobile internet is not working and their CSD does nothing, they talk about me changing mobile settings that I no longer have in the menu since I moved to Lycamobile. Instead of helping they just repeat the same thing. I told them 10000000000 times I tried my SIM card on my other iPhone, on my Redmi, Huawei and my friends Samsung and it’s all the same. Just so fed up with this I can barely stand it.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach your customer service team through your online chat bot, email, or phone support. I signed up for the 12-month UK Smart Plan, but I have not been able to use the eSIM at all due to a complete lack of signal wherever I go. Additionally, I had a £10 credit balance which remains unused. Given these ongoing issues, I would like to request the immediate cancellation of my plan. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I have also sent you this same message to trust pilot review email - so please stop wasting my time and resolve the issue.
