No order recieved (Order ID #77504)

On the 1st of November I ordered and then waited. On the 5th I contacted to hear if there was any update and on the 8th I receive and email confirming it's been packed and will be sent within 1-3 business day and a label is created + plus a tracking number (stating that a label has been created and they are only just preparing the package) this means the order can't be cancelled! I've tried to contact them ever since and every time I receive an auto reply neglecting my issue, a message just adding more and more days to my order and completely disregarding my wish for cancelling when nothing is packed yet... Today November 21st I receive another email (after wishing to cancel) and they now claim it takes further 5-10 business days to prepare it (which was already stated was packaged and prepared on the 8th and it will take 10-20 business days to arrive... This has been the worst service I have ever recieved from any company.

Worst Japan snack company

Horrible experience currently. Customer service lying about my package being shipped when even their own website says it hasnt. Bought my package on the 7th and they gave me an email right away saying it would be shipped in 1-3 days and im still waiting for it to be shipped. Then I asked them about it and they said since I bought it in November I would have to wait till December to get that months package but I got an email saying I would be getting this months so when I asked them about it they gave me a confusing answer saying “ We are so sorry, I stand corrected. I checked with our logistics team again and they confirmed that we had extended the promotion for the entire month of November.“ like bro what does that even mean? I might change the review one day but currently I do not recommend this to anybody. Also if you filter this for verified people who bought it you can only see 1 star reviews

In Love With Japan Crate

I enjoy Japan Crate! Amazing items that I’ve had were mostly chip like items rarely any candy or sweet type items, but it doesn’t mean you won’t get any. Lol, no problems with tracking or customer service. I recommend Japan Crate since my first delivery! I hope to buy from them again SOON! Have a good day.

Worst shopping and customer service experience. Never received my box!

I waited for 3 weeks, did not receive my box except for frustration, confusion and worst shopping experience I rated 1 star for two main issues: 1. Bot like heart less customer service I got a bot like reply, they just keep repeating the same template reply and copy-paste from FAQ. They don't really spend time on reading carefully on your question and try to answer it. As a customer, this is the worst, they did not take our issues seriously and just trying to keep my money by offering me free subscription month extension for my never shipped box. 2. Never tell me if my box is shipped or not They told me the box is lost in transit. I don't even receive a shipping notification email as they told me. I asked them to explain as I was so confused why my pack is shipped without being notified. I also asked them to provide tracking number info, they just back to point 1, reply me like a bot. My questions never being answered, they refunded me at the end. I totally do not recommend to order with them, what I guess is 3 weeks of waiting, disappointment and frustration. Also a bunch of unhelpful robot reply from their customer support. Edit-> I saw someone also comment that did not receive the box, the reply from Japan Crate is it may go to SPAM box. I also checked, not a single in SPAM, while I keep receiving the marketing email from them

Love the items I received in my October…

Love the items I received in my October crate but I was charged for my next crate already oct 8th got notice it had label created October 10th it’s now November still haven’t had updates of package supposedly a inquiry was put in action to find out what happened to my package.. I am thinking of canceling subscription for I don’t wanna be charged for next crate since I haven’t received my second crate yet .. I’m even thinking about requesting refund for a crate I haven’t received yet but paid for

they took my money and not ship the order

my order's label was generated on the 5th of October for the month of October, and it is now the 30th of October and the order has not even moved or shipped. I had contacted 3-4 times with facebook/their online message contact, and email, and all of them received the same excuse that it is coming, and just wait on it. I have a 6-month subscription, my first month's order was late, and now the second month's order is not even being shipped. Don't order from them, the product is mediocre at best, you can get most of the items in their crate in local Japanese or Korean markets. Don't believe the 1 sentence feedback, read those that have more than 1 sentence, those are the real answer you are looking for.

Halloween box had nothing Halloween inside

I already knew what to expect in terms of candy (insanely expensive price for basically a bunch of cheap dollar store lollies) as we've had a box before, but I ordered the October box because of the Halloween theme (Trick or Treat 2022). However None of the candy inside was Halloween themed in any way, I know a lot of Japan brands do Halloween themed packaging but this box didn't even include a single one. The box was also supposed to contain a "Trick or Treat" bonus, which was missing from my box (and many others if the Facebook comments are anything to go by). After being disappointed by this we ordered the Tokyo Treat Halloween box and every single package inside had the cute Halloween branding, it was better pricing too so just buy Tokyo Treat instead.

I bought a crate with tge buy 1 get 1 promotion furst crate was good but second crate wasn't fool, contacted the company and they answerd fast and worked to fix the problem. So fae happy with the expiriance I had with this company

Nicely packed and nice variety.

I ordered my first box and it was packed within a day and then shipped the next. When it got her it was delayed because of a hurricane but still arrived fairly quickly. The snacks were packaged nicely and I liked the variety. If you want to try something new I would definitely give it a shot.

Hatsune Miku collab crate!

I bought the Hatsune Miku collab crate!! It was pretty diverse in terms of snacks with some big and some small. It also came with a yummy popcorn drink! Overall I liked it!

Paquete retenido por aduanas

En Agosto me suscribí para recibir mi caja en septiembre, pero no fue hasta que consulté a días de cobrarme la caja de septiembre que recién tuve información. Mi pedido aún no había sido despachado, pero lo enviaron de inmediato. Tristemente luego fue retenido por aduanas en Chile terminando el mes de septiembre, donde me exigían certificado, ficha técnica u otro documento para acreditar la información nutricional de la caja, pero al solicitarla por correo me indicaron que no tenían esa información. Honestamente no sé qué hacer ya que me rechazaron la liberación, y si no hay forma de que me manden los datos que necesito, el paquete se da por perdido.

They made mistakes and wont help

So first of all, i used a buy one get one free code & it gave the impression they were going to be different boxes, they werent, which was a bit annoying but i got over that. There was also supposed to be a "trick or treat" item in both the boxes. There wasnt any. Lastly, i had some items missing from one of the boxes, when i emailed them about it, they point blank refused to do anything about the missing items, no offer of compensation or reimbursement. I have cancelled and will go somewhere where they look after their customers.

Ongoing, will update

Update: I am trying to solve the issue with a manager, the issue was that I was getting no reply from the person receiving my emails. I will update my review when this is over. ____ I have two boxes stuck in customs because of incomplete paperwork and lack of permits, one for over a month. The first box I had to go through the process all alone despite asking for help, I was given a gift card to order a second box and it is now also stuck. Customs and DHL have told me I do not have the authority to interfere and that Japan Crate as the sender and as a big company has to provide the permits by contacting DHL. I have sent three emails asking for support with this new box also being stuck and have been completely ignored. I somehow always end up with the same customer support person despite them being extremely unhelpful, and I have been refused a transfer to someone else in support. Such a shame, as I had been buying from JC for two years with no issues, but now that they're using DHL (which lacks permits to export and import food items) it seems that I will never be able to buy any boxes ever again.

No shipment

Ordered half a year's worth of crates as well as a 2for1 crate to start with way back at the beginning of August. The first 2 crates should have been used as a gift at the end of September, which is now unrealistic. I contracted them and was told that the crate had been sent and delivered in Montclair one day after i placed my order without a notification of shipment on email. It is suspicious that they all end up there, since I have ordered with delivery in Switzerland. I have still not received a shipping notification after 7 weeks and I have contacted JC both by email, the website and Instagram several times without success. have been told that they will look into the case and then nothing happens. 7 october: 2 weeks later and still nothing is shipped, only recieved a tracking number to ‘assure’ me that they would send it at some point.

Spent 500$ for a birthday “giant loot…

Spent 500$ for a birthday “giant loot box” full of “150+” items. This box was such a massive let down in more ways than one. A post card, a pencil topper, and a small pack of stickers. The rest candy (single mini KitKats majority) and snacks all of which had already been featured in the past three boxes of which I already had. Some new candy? Even some more dollar store like items might have made this something I could deal with but I guess I learned my lesson and won’t fall for their “deals” again.

Utter incompetence

After less than stellar performances the last twice I ordered (severely delayed shipping despite the 5-10 day claim) I thought I'd give them a THIRD chance since there was a 2 for 1 offer available. Ordered beginning of August, shipped fairly quickly though with no shipping notice or tracking made available despite the claims they provide it upon despatch. Package was rejected by the courier (Pitney Bowes) and returned to one of their hubs I made Japan Crate aware of this and even provided screenshots of the tracking details to their CS but was told that wasn't the case and it was still on route. After almost two weeks of essentially being called a liar CS finally acknowledged I was right and offered a replacement which I accepted thinking that perhaps after providing such repeatedly poor service they might actually fulfill the order in a timely manner. It's now almost two weeks later and there's no package, no shipping notice and no response to my query regarding the orders status through either email or their Facebook presence. I've never had issues like this with any other company and it boggles the mind how they can so consistently fail at every opportunity.

Still waiting for order from June

I placed an order in June, they said that it was shipped and delivered but I never received it. I contacted them & they said that they will send a replacement order. They gave me a tracking number but after tracking it said that label created. It have been 2 month and no movement, I contacted them again but no answer.
