Update: I am trying to solve the issue with a manager, the issue was that I was getting no reply from the person receiving my emails. I will update my review when this is over. ____ I have two boxes stuck in customs because of incomplete paperwork and lack of permits, one for over a month. The first box I had to go through the process all alone despite asking for help, I was given a gift card to order a second box and it is now also stuck. Customs and DHL have told me I do not have the authority to interfere and that Japan Crate as the sender and as a big company has to provide the permits by contacting DHL. I have sent three emails asking for support with this new box also being stuck and have been completely ignored. I somehow always end up with the same customer support person despite them being extremely unhelpful, and I have been refused a transfer to someone else in support. Such a shame, as I had been buying from JC for two years with no issues, but now that they're using DHL (which lacks permits to export and import food items) it seems that I will never be able to buy any boxes ever again.
