Just having to try new things and share with my family is the best because we get excited to see what will be the next incoming treats inside the Japan Crate.
I just love getting my boxes each month. It is the one thing that I do to treat myself as a mom each month.
So far I’ve only had good experiences with the crates. The snacks are amazing and the crates’ designs are adorable!
Quick and easy outreach service, great staff and great products.
I absolutely love the snacks from Japan Crate. My brother and I first got into Japanese snacks at a Japanese market in San Diego over 8 yrs ago and when we moved to another state, I wanted to check out on the website to see if there's any Japanese snacks so I came across Japan Crate on Facebook. Thank you so much. My family really enjoyed the snacks we get once a month
I absolutely love getting these, it’s so exciting to open the box and see all the items. The pricing is good, the products are good, and there’s always awesome things you get to experience by getting this
The customer service is amazing and I’m always happy with the variety in my boxes
I love the stuff but I feel like some of the things I get are repetitive.
japan crate is always good at havin somethin ta look ford ta but maybe yall can add some new snacks instead of repeatin the same snack types
Great company. Excellent variety of snacks and a fun crate
We love the crates we receive, with a large range of treats, stationary, and cute toys. We love opening the boxes with surprises. Well worth the price. I would love to see a box with some traditional Japanese hair pins and things in it.
Nice !!!!!!!
I have not received a box since April of last year… I canceled my subscription but continue to be charged but worse of all, I never received any shipment.
Hi, While the customer support staff was actually fast to reply and nice, my experience with JapanCrate is awful. Is it this terrible because I'm European ? I don't know but I really didn't get a good service. - Delayed delivery without communication about it. One global email saying "Whoops sorry" isn't sufficient in cases like this. - No estimated delivery date and I wasn't even informed that the crate was to be delivered today... Therefore I wasn't able to be there for it. - Fake advertissement for WORLDWIDE free shipping fee. Another discovery, I just had to pay another 23 euros at the end of the month, without notice. You know which country the box is to be delivered when we buy, inform your customers. - That's 73 euros in total for a month late box... I mean, it's just dissapointing. Even if I discover good products, I feel scammed. I won't ever buy again.
The company is absolutely wonderful anytime I have a question or issue one of the representatives are always willing to help, and they are always very punctual. The way I get my crate packaged always looks very pleasing when I receive it I'm always excited to see what I get. By far the best company I've dealt with when ording anything.
I've ordered for them twice. This new one had my order stuck in BLOOMINGTON CALIFORNIA for a month, well I contacted them in 2 or 3 different ways, less than 4 days later my package is coming to me right now. I get my package tonight so to the customer service and amazing help and concerns. Thank you so much Japan Crate for making everything so much better. I love this company so much. -Air(Isabela)
I loved my japan crate!! I wanted to eat everything in one go. It was like opening a box of treasures
Got the wrong create.. And it was in bad condition.. I ordered the one that comes with some genshin cards and animal crossing figure but I got some Christmas box... God knows why and I haven't got a reply from customer service yet
I am updating this review: JapanCrate worked to make this right and I appreciate their alacrity in responding through Trustpilot. I think somehow they were overwhelmed with orders w/their special "Lucky Crate" box and perhaps put them together too hastily. The replacement box I received was far more in line with what they had promised and almost everything I tried was interesting and tasty. I will definitely order again another time. ****************************************************************** Old review: A couple of weeks after I ordered a box, I received the following email: "We're excited to say that you've been upgraded to one of our higher value, special edition "Lucky Crates" as part of our limited holiday giveaway. In addition to your usual snacks and candy, these crates also include a larger variety of items ranging from instant noodles to household items, stationery, and more. These extra items are included as a bonus holiday gift from us! Since Lucky Crates have so many more items, they take a bit longer to fulfill so we ask that you please allow an extra 1-2 weeks for delivery. We promise it’s worth the wait! You're one of only 500 subscribers who will receive one of these exclusive crates." What I actually received: - about half the items were extremely close to their expiration dates (some by just a couple of weeks) - the drink can was severely dented (safety issue) - at least 3-4 of the snacks were dried noodles (where's the "larger variety"?) - the so called "extra bonus holiday items" are of ridiculously low value (Dollar Store caliber) and all say "made in China" so are not even actually Japanese - this box has very few actual snacks (and certainly not "so many more items") - no more than the usual number of products in a typical box, and actually possibly less When I contacted Japan Crate w/photos, the only response I got was that the expiration dates are actually "best by" dates. Well, the first product I opened, which has a "best by" date of February, the cookies were definitely stale.
