Possibly the most incompetent, inept dealings I’ve ever had with a business. Ordered 2 pieces of equipment from them - and had confirmation. Went to pick them up at the allotted time - neither available - so drove back home. Went back again, only one was available, so took it home, had to cancel the other. No proactive communication to me at any point.
Once home, it was apparent that this piece of equipment wasn’t functional. Returned it the next morning. Still haven’t received a refund - and indeed am getting emails stating that I’m being charged for non-return.
To add insult to injury, the phone number that they provide to contact isn’t manned and so have spent at least 45 minutes on hold waiting to speak to someone who never turns up.
The worst service experience I’ve ever experienced - and need some reassurance that I’m going to have all of my money returned, and not charged any more - for equipment that either wasn’t available, or was unusable.
Dreadful - and I hope somebody will contact me to provide reassurance that I’ll be full refunded.
Adding to this 24 hours later - I’m now getting faintly threatening messages from them about my non-payment of late fees for a product that a) wasn’t functional and b) was not returned late. Obviously when I try to reply to the email, the inbox is not manned so my email won’t be read. And nobody answers the phone number provided.
As Tina Turner should have sung: Simply the Worst.
Only a full apology and compensation is going to resolve this matter.
Unbelievable to see how many 1-star reviews have been written on very similar issues in the last 48 hours. HSS must be broken.
Further build - I’ve just spoken to their customer service team - after literally hours on hold - and they don’t know their own terms and conditions (by his own admission, he’d never read them), and when I put pressure on to ask for evidence that the promised refund had been actioned, he said he was unable to provide it, but to ‘trust’ the fact that it would returned. I said that my experience so far meant it was impossible to trust this business - and he promptly hung up on me.
Charlatans, crooks and deeply untrustworthy business and individuals.
