Ian was amazing and supported me with the hire of an angle grinder and blades. He also carried them to the car for me as the power pack was too heavy for me to carry. I was given two blades and was surprised on my return to be refunded for the more expensive blade which I didn’t use and charged the lesser price for the other blade which I needed. Thank you Ian at the Ruxley Roundabout, Sidcup, Kent branch,your a gem to the company as your polite, professional and very knowledgeable. 10 out of 10! I will definitely hire from them again.

Delivery was 4 days late. No one over the phone would help. Incomplete delivery arrived. No refund given for items that haven't arrived. I was promised a call or email from the manager to discuss compensation but I've not received a call or email.

Awful communication essentially a broker long wait for deposit to be returned- still waiting. Been on hold for numerous hours was told by a customer service agent eventually that after 14 days they would put through my request for a deposit and that it should be with me still not heard a thing still no deposit even though the machine was returned in perfect condition and signed off by the driver This company is merely keeping deposits illegally under the UK trading Standard distance selling law I will be contacting trading standards. Ordered a piece of equipment and the safety set The machine itself was delivered and was great- the safety equipment was never delivered. We got a call the next day from derby asking to deliver it- the equipment had already been returned as was a 24 hour hire. Here lies the problem when booking via this website they are essentially outsourcing the work- we still haven’t had our deposit back. Yet we keep Getting calls to open a business account With them- we shall be not be doing this as no one is answering the phone or helping in any way. In future we shall simply book equipment direct with the supplier.

Fast delivery and great service from start to finish

Ordered an edge sander, which arrived at 10am WITHOUT THE DUSTBAGS I had ordered and paid for. Rang multiple times after 3 phones calls and at least 90 mins on hold in total was told my bags would arrive around 5pm. Bags arrived just after 5pm so I managed to use the sander for a total of 80 minutes before I had to stop due to having a newborn and my neighbours having a newborn. 9am next morning knock on the door “I’m here for your sander” rang to complain and was told I would be refunded minus £10 hire charge. Only ever got my security deposit back. £60 for 80 minutes use. Safe to say I felt ripped off

Promised delivery, confirmed by email, before 10am. Arrived after 5pm through third party provider Selco. Phoned twice to chase and eventually had to stand down the landscape team due to late arrival of delivery. x2 of 3 bark mulch bags were substituted for own brand. Overall a very disappointing experience, will think twice before using HSS again…
