Castles Estate Agent Reviews

We viewed four properties in Guildford on 15th June 2022. Miss Natasha Persaud-Williams of Castle Estate Agents, Guildford met with us at the first property. She was very welcoming and courteous and diligently showed us all the properties. We inquired about various points and she took time to respond to them. She has given us sufficient time to wander around the properties and she respected our opinions. We’re very happy with our viewing experience and we thank Miss Natasha for all her hard work.

A big thank you to Natasha PW for hosting our viewing on Saturday and for making our viewing experience a much more personal one which in my personal opinion other more seasoned professionals lack out there - keep it up!

I had a viewing with Natasha PW a few days ago and I was fascinated by her energy. She was very friendly and very fast to give answer to my questions. Was well prepared with the property details and will be happy to see more people like her.

We viewed a couple of properties with Natasha she was very informative and answered all the questions we had, she was well presented and very polite deffinately recommend seeing her when you need to buy or sell a house.

Viewed a property with Natasha PW over the weekend. She was well presented and was able to answer all our questions. She had an honest, enthusiastic and down to earth manner about her which was refreshing and made the experience more personal and less like a sales pitch. Dont loose those qualities Natasha it’ll make you stand apart from your peers

Natasha was very friendly, helpful, and informative when providing us with a house viewing. She made the process easy and simple. She was always quick to respond with the answers to any questions I had and would highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a house viewing.

Friendly and punctual. Thank you Natasha

Was shown around a property by Natasha today. She was very helpful and informative. Friendly welcoming environment and polite customer service on the phone.

Viewed a property with Natasha PW yesterday and although not a seasoned agent / consultant was refreshingly bright, honest and enthusiastic. She provided most of the information required, and encouraged a personal and emotive feel to the experience rather than a sales exercise. It was a pleasure to view that property with her. She did a great job!

Was shown around a property today by Natasha she was extremely polite, friendly and professional. She was knowledgeable about the property in question and I would happily view other properties with her.

Viewed 402a High street in Aldershot. Natasha PW was waiting to greet me outside which meant no awkward waiting around. Not the house for me due to shared access and lack of garden. More than happy to be shown further relevant properties by both Natasha and Castles.

Everything went well until the last minute when we were days away from completion and they pressured us like crazy to sign, forcing our hand, proving once more how awful agents can be. We were excellent buyers, cash in hand and very open to get things rolling and they still managed to mess things up. Contemptuous attitude, bad communication, absolutely no respect. Please help me out and don't ever see them.

Phoned Swindon branch twice over a couple of days to ask for sales information not listed by them on Rightmove. Promised call backs on both occasions that never occurred. My last enquiry being this morning. Phoned the branch at 4:45pm to complain about it and was passed to Lucy, the assistant manager who adopted an irritating and superior chirpy passive aggressive stance, whining on that they were understaffed - and that busy that she hadn’t even managed to have any lunch but with lame assurances that she was going to call me ‘eventually’. This is one Agency that I will not be engaging to handle my sale, especially given that they don’t even seem capable of responding to simple buyer queries.

Very satisfied with the experience of buying a property from Anne at Castles Estate Agents Crumlin Bought during the last Covid lockdown and all measures where adhered to. While it’s not a buyers market at present, all dealings with Anne were friendly, genuine, and very helpful. Would recommend this agent. Very happy to be in my new home!

Absolutely shocking The worst, upsetting , abusive staff , unsympathetic, no empathy during coronavirus The worst letting agents I have ever dealt with in the 8 years since we sadly had to divide our lovely family Judgemental .... I was told I am not a client , the landlord is I was shouted at because a back door key broke off in the lock .. accidents don’t happen right I could spend hours and hours telling you how I was sucked in by a bunch of to be honest traveller mentality staff Expect no respect if you are a tenant

The viewing was fine – then I agreed to rent the property. Big mistake Warning to anyone looking to rent through them – look for another agent who has the same property listed and save yourself the stress. It will only become apparent after you've signed up. Didn’t hear back after they took initial holding deposit, so emailed them 9 days later Was told "I should have known" offer was accepted because referencing link was sent to my employers Moving in date took forever to confirm – unnecessary stress as I had delivery men all booked and waiting Liaising with them on email was odd but fine at first – Then I moved in and found none of the pre-conditions were met Flat was left with old furniture, stained bedding and everything else they were supposed to have cleaned out Agency took no responsibility to remove the items (as per the holding contract) Broken light switches not working – wouldn’t fix Many other issues fall on deaf ears Liaising with 4 people regarding one job – Asked to repeatedly send photo’s to each person Inventory a mess - told I was on a key meter that was about to run out. No top-up key provided They passed my personal details to external company that kept ringing and emailing me at work to sell their services I have a day job – but have spent so much time trying to sort out things with this agency If I’d have known, I would definitely have chosen another letting agent There weren’t enough reviews of the agency online Seriously the worst agency I’ve dealt with and it’s a shame to finally reach that conclusion.

Avoid! They talk a good game but in my case failed to deliver VERY long contract lengths - they tie you in for 16 weeks by default, whereas others locally are more like 4 weeks. I was lied to by an inexperienced agent They gave unhelpful, repetitive feedback They used my house as leverage to sell another one on the same street Their only sales tactic is to ask you to lower the price Most of the viewings were by an inappropriate audience - investors I left them after nearly 6 months and no results Another agency sold it in 2 weeks for a better price looking for a cheap deal on a shabby house they could do up I've told them about all this and more, and they haven't even replied.
