none refundable/ cannot change date

I booked a room at a Budget Inn in St. Petersburg Fl. As I submitted my credit card information a notice came on the screen saying "deposit is none refundable and date cannot be changed" 20 minutes later l tried to communicate with them without success as I wanted to change the date. I called the hotel and they said it is between me and Travelocity. On the advertisement for the room it said nothing about deposit being none refundable and date cannot be changed. I later found out on the reviews that the hotel is in a bad neighborhood and Travelocity just do this to make money, no concern for the customers

Never use this service for business …

Never use this service for business travel. Never purchase there cancelation insurance. A.O.N. is an out side insurance company and they do not pay you when you need to cancel.

booked and paid for flight out west

booked and paid for flight out west. everything was set and paid. shortly before trip, airline picked by travelocity discontinued service...when i contacted travelocity they informed me that i would have to pay for new flight even though i had agreement for entire trip and had already paid in full. . Their guarantee was useless. I ended up having to pay a lot more for last minute ticket . DO NOT TRUST THE GNOME !!! THEY DID NOT MAKE GOOD ON PROMISES

Travelocity is about as bad as they come

I don't have to much good to say about Travelocity. I have used them a few times now but they have messed up just about everything that they could. First we had an international flight with them, and they never communicated with the airline we were on and when we got to the airport we were not even logged in yet to get our tickets. We had to wait there at that counter with the airline reps and on the phone with travelocity for 2 hours to get it all cleared up! Then we stayed at a hotel where we had booked with Travelocity for 2 adjoining rooms, but travelocity never communicated that to the hotel so we were not able to get the adjoining rooms! Then we just had another hotel stay that we booked with Travelocity and here we had booked for a room with a sofa bed, and once again, they did not communicate that! Needless to say, we are done with Travelocity.

Worst Experience Ever

Worst Experience Ever This is the first time I dealt with Travelocity and I did go through many problems. First of all I booked my Europe trip with them and the girl helped me to book all the package and while she was on the phone I got an email for the confirmation of my booking and when I checks it she misspelled my name and I told her to fix it she says she can't fix it and told me call them in three hours which means I have to call them at 1 am,anyways I called them to fix my names spelling and the customer service representative told me that he can't change my name spelling now I have to call them within three days of fight , it was making me so nervous about my booking !! Then finally I called within 72 days of my flight and changed my names spelling . Then I told the representative to book me a specia meal as I am vegetarian and it was never booked !! When we reached at the destination shuttle was booked and we did pay for the shuttle but after waiting 3 hours of long wait no shuttle showed up and we wasted our three hours at the airport then I called Travelocity that I can't find any shuttle here then representative name Shayma picked up the phone and and told me that they will refund my shuttle money and told me to go by the taxi and send them the receipt so that they can compensate me . After I send them the receipt they refuses me to pay for my taxi , which was 55 Euro . The girl told me to go by taxi other wise we would have taken Metro . I did wastes 3 hours of my precious day at the airport which I had planned to spend my day as my vacation. I did talk to Raynne too and she was the worst one as a customer service she was really rude and was not trying to listen the problem and not thinking about the situation I did go through and she refused to pay me the taxi money as a compensation because my time and money was wasted on the phone in roaming and taxi , otherwise I would taken the Metro !! Another problem they has created they booked our room from 3 pm , we have to wait in the lobbie waiting for our room which was not booked from the afternoon. With the whole mess we wasted the whole day because of there carelessness and when you try to explain them the problem which they have created they are not ready to listen and not making there customers happy . I would say Travelocity has the worst people ever and they and under trained for sure too they need to learn about more customer service and need to know about there services very well too . I have the worst experience ever with this company and I will not go with them ever and not recommend to anyone .

I just finished booking a round trip …

I just finished booking a round trip flight thru this company and found out after I was charged twice for the United part of the trip. They said they would reverse the charge after 3 to 10 day ( sounds like the government) They also have some kind of association with Expedia.com My recommendation would be don't use this company . I will never use them again. They could not even give me the correct auth. code for the charge that has to be reversed after sitting on the phone with them for 20 minutes Stand by the trip is not over yet and I may be adding info later

prices are just as good as any of these …

prices are just as good as any of these places online, But you would think that when spending your hard earned money that they and other companies like them would have a phone number where you can talk to some one and ask questions BEFORE you buy a trip..... But all they have in an online person that never your never able to contact and when you do it take forever if your not some one that type's well... NEWS FLASH !!!! GET A HUMAN on the phone to answer peoples questions, We spend our money or want too ........

Never again

I was on the road doing comedy and book a supposedly two and half star hotel on Travelocity. Yes, it was inexpensive $50 but they would have to pay me about $1000 to stay there. I check in and went directly to the gig. When I return I went into the room stayed there about 5 minutes before I had to leave. So ignore Travelocity and move on to other travel sites. I know for me never again! This hotel had and hourly rate in the check in office which should immediately disqualify it from any travel site. And I should have walk immediately but I was under the impression that it was non-refundable room. The room was filthy when I went in.

Dishonest and manipulative

Booking seemed really easy at first, however, I re-checked our itinerary, and the prices dropped by hundreds of dollars in the last few days, after Travelocity claimed to have limited tickets available at that price (like 4-5), then were "unavailable" for a little while. I felt like this was the site trying to pressure us into buying right then, because they kept increasing the price. Now, one week later, I could have booked at a lower price ($200/ticket) on a different computer. I don't appreciate the trickery and will be posting on other sites to spread the awareness. Side note, there is an all-inclusive option at the hotel we're staying at, but this was not listed as an option on Travelocity. I also tried requesting seats on the flight, and for our returning flight there are no seats available unless we upgrade to first class. So now we have to call the airline to figure that out. I am not very pleased and will not be doing this again. It's worth peace of mind to have flights booked and to know that the site isn't trying to overprice your vacation. Will not be recommending this to others. Piece of advice: go ahead and look at Travelocity's offers as long as you'd like, ignore the price changing all of the time. When you're ready to book, find a different computer and use that-it won't remember that you've been looking at this trip and won't overcharge you/pressure you into buying more expensive packages.

Paid for nothing

Never again! I got an email stating they have greta deals on rental cars, I happened to be needed a rental car the next day so I went online and secured one. I received the confirmation and noticed the size car I ordered was wrong so I called. I waited on the phone for about 20 minutes then someone came on line and assured me it was correct. The next day I went to pick up the car and the Hertz said it was booked at the airport. I called a taxi and paid $40 to get to the airport and was told it was actually at the other location but they didn't have any cars. Hertz said I needed to have Travelosity change the pickup location. I waited on the phone for 1 hour at the airport Hertz. Finally, Travelocity clerk said her computer was down and she placed me on another hour wait. Once her computer went back up she said made the entire process so complicated that I just cancelled it. At first she said they would not refund my money then she agreed. One month later I still have not been refunded the money. I placed anther call to Travelosity today and have spoke to 2 different people. so far, I have been on hold for an hour while they "say" they are looking not it. I have wasted so much time with them, it's certainly not worth wasting any more time for a $30 refund.

Booked a flight from Spokane to Bangkok …

Booked a flight from Spokane to Bangkok with non connecting flight with Bhutan Air to continue on to Bhutan. Two days after booking three weeks in advance I found out that my connections to Bhutan Air were not allowing time to make connection. Travelocity wanted $500 to change it. They also dinged my credit card for an additional $87 upon receiving my CC bill. As I had booked Delta through Travelocity Delta was able to change my flight for slightly less but a $1200 trip ended up costing nearly $1700. Zero Star for Customer Service. Book at your own risk. I would never use again. What can you do? Sue them? Just go on with life. They know.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on …

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on University Ave in St. Paul, MN last weekend. The room was immaculate and the service friendly. I would particularly like to commend Nicole, Darnelda and Sharese, the breakfast attendants. They treated the breakfast area like their own kitchen, offering help and suggestions with smiles and humor. I felt very at home there! Thanks again.

CROOKS

I booked a travel package which included hotel, airfare and car. The hotel was so bad, I complained to Travelocity. Travelocity said that I could change hotels, but that I had to get the refund from the hotel. I talked the to hotel manager. They said that they would not only cancel my remaining days, but refund me the day that I stayed in the system (yes I have the receipt). They said that the refund would have to come from Travelocity. I've been in contact over 3 months trying to get my refund from Travelocity. DONT USE Travelocity!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. No email contact and their social media customer service is appalling. Took me over an hour to cancel my flights. Very impersonal. With so much choice for booking agents just do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

TRAVELOCITY'S WEBSITE IS NOT SAFE!!!!

TRAVELOCITY'S WEBSITE IS NOT SAFE!!!! I CONTACTED TRAVELOCITY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY COULD NOT RETRIEVE MY ITINERARY OR ANY INFORMATION ON THE SCHEDULED TRIP OR IF IT HAD BEEN PAID OR NOT?? MY VISA BILL SHOWED THE CHARGE ON THE NEXT BILLING!! I BOOKED THIS TRIP 2 MONTHS AGO AND THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY INFORMATION ON MY TRIP PAGE. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WHERE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE SITE!!! DO NOT TRUST TRAVELOCITY'S WEBSITE!!! IF THEY CANNOT FIND INFORMATION HOW MUCH INFORMATION HAS BEEN STOLEN OR LOST????? BY THE WAY I WAS ON HOLD OR TALKING WITH A TRAVELOCITY CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. FOR OVER AN HOUR TO LEARN THIS. WHEN I ASKED FOR A CALL BACK WHEN THEY GOT IT FIXED THEY SAID THEY DID NOT CALL BACK. Long story short I booked a flight from Bangor maine to orlandeo florida some things came up had to cancel flight due to emergency I purchased travel insurance and dealing with that is a nightmare it's been 5 months and they're still reviewing everything I talked to travelocity they said they can't due anything about it worst service ever never ever will I boom through them again
