We booked the Princess Premier Package…

We booked the Princess Premier Package and for 2 days now they've blocked my stepsons medallion insisting he can only buy non alcoholic drinks. He's 28 years old!! The ship is tired and a lot smaller cabins than other cruiselines we've used. Spent more time at guest services than enjoying the actual cruise

policy problem

The cruise experience itself was actually pretty good. The problem I have with them is a policy issue. My fiancee works for an airline and is able to get travel discounts, which she used to book the cruise. After booking I was looking at the Princess website and realized they offer a military/veterans onboard credit. As a vet I thought this was great. I went through the verification process and waited for my credit to be applied. And waited, and waited. I decided to call customer service to see why the credit hadn't been applied. I was told because my fiancee booked with her discount that I wasn't entitled to the veteran's credit. I'm not sure what one has to do with the other, but I hope Princess addresses this in the future.

Poor security majestic

I'm so surprised to a company like princess has so many issues with customer safety, with insecure rooms, witnessed customers being attacked infront of staff, two other incidents that almost led to attacks in front of staff who in the staff words "didn't want to involve security as the head gets angry" which i can 100% relate to with his dismissive and confrontational attitude when we tried to reported our concerns with not locking rooms, the green unlocked light stays on even when you are out of sight of your cabin, allowing anyone behind you to enter your room without your knowledge, apparently not a problem from the head of ship security (you won't be covered on insurance) repeated entertainment and menu if on for over a week, dirty plates and napkins left on buffet tables, not to mention the movement sensor light in the cabin that comes on if you go to the bathroom at night and lights the whole room without being able to turn it off.

Sky Princess lovely ship great Cruise to Canaries

Sky Princess from Southampton to Canaries. Had a great Cruise always appreciate Princess's hospitality and service is good, although when busy bar service is slow. Brilliant guest speaker Sue Holderness who was very entertaining and very friendly around the ship. Entertainment good and plenty to do. 17th floor adults only sun deck is particularly nice for quiet time. We did traditional dining same table time each night which suited us. Main dining food was generally good although we did have a couple of times when it was disappointing. We always have a great cruise as its our holiday, Princess does not disappoint us.

Honest review of diamond princess

Just got back from Southern explorer trip on diamond princess, The ship is old and very smelly in places particulary the middle upper decks, cabin and cabin staff were excellent most bar staff slow and not interested, the show at night were a real highlight top performances. and movies were good in open top deck. Excursions were good but not fulfilled what we expected. Big issue was we pre payed for shore excursions 3 months in advance which were debited from our account princess acknowledged this on a costing folio then held from our account $1700 for shore excusions which is borrowning our monies so we had payed twice then they released after 2 calls a week later this is not acceptable so check your account before leaving the cruise line ships.

No refunds from Princess Cruises?

We have sailed many times with Princess. We are at the elite level. Last February, we came back from a 20 day cruise with a $200 fully refundable (I checked with cruise.com)on board credit. Princess cruises never sent the refund…I wrote many times…I spoke with at least four representatives who all told me that I would receive a cheque in three to four weeks. Eight months later…still no cheque. What is going on?

No help for the deaf prior to cruise

I have a booking (7Q6XDR) sailing in 6 days time. The app that you are required to use is only showing one boarding pass for me but none for my wife on the same booking, The luggage tags showing are for a previous cruise and not the booked one. The online chat facility is showing as "off line" and they do not publish an email address for urgent issues. The only contact they have for the app is a 44p per minute help line manned in the Philippines. Non of this is of any help when you are deaf.

Needs overhaul

First - the staff on board the ship are terrific! I hold nothing against any of them. It is the booking, the website, the app - and finally, not being able to use their survey in time. I just tried to give a good rating for all the onboard staff and the survey "expired." I suppose they don't care about people who have to work for a living - return from a cruise and don't have free time to immediately sit down and complete a survey. Everything with Princess is rush-rush-rush. If you're looking to relax, this is not the cruise for you. We had to hurry up and book this, book that, hurry to get in line only to wait. Hurry up at each excursion, then hurry up and wait for your bus, for your tender, etc. Hurry up and wait. The pace was ridiculous and the time at each excursion was very short. Again - staff onboard were wonderful. It's the behind the scenes - the organization with the meals, reservations, the app is horrible, the website is terrible, payments are difficult to follow. It's the administration that needs a lot of overhaul - along with the web and phone applications. I can't say I'll ever sail with Princess again.

Marginal service

This was our 27th cruise, our 1st on Princess. Beautiful ship, service in general was OK with 2 exceptions: The cabin steward was excellent!! The hostess at the restaurant was incompetent; can't understand a 30 minute wait when there were 14 empty tables that I could see; complaint to maitre'de and guest services went without response. Food choices were excellent for the most part, a few quirky things here and there - all burgers "made to order" are served "well done". Went to the casino once - the stench of smoke was so bad we turned around and left. Production shows and entertainment were excellent. Had a 4 hour shore excursion that was cut short by 1-1/2 hours so we could shop, didn't return us to the point of departure; complaint to guest services went without a response. Still trying to settle account, they lost tract of several pre-cruise credit card payments. Resolved 11/09/24.

Princess Cruises screwed me lover!

Back in June I put a deposit on a Princess Cruise (departing on my Birthday) and gave them my CC information, days later I added several shore excursions and a food/beverage package, all automatically charged to my CC. Being a first-time cruiser, I had just assumed that the balance of my cruise would be a similar transaction. The date arrived to pay the balance, I checked my CC statement and there was nothing, I wasn’t worried because these charges usually take a couple of days to show up, this was on a Friday, one o'clock Sunday morning I received an email saying my Cruise was cancelled. I called immediately and was unable to speak to anyone as customer service is only open during business hours. I called first thing Monday morning to straighten this simple misunderstanding, admitting that this was all my fault, CC in hand ready to pay and was told that my Cruise has been cancelled (lost my deposit) and there's nothing I can do except re-book. I wasn't allowed to speak to a supervisor when I asked (I was told I wasn’t a priority for her). Re-booking meant I wasn't eligible for the promotion I had used the first time and that this already expensive vacation was about to be significantly more expensive. I made an honest mistake as a first timer and thought it would be an easy fix; it wasn't. I then posted several reviews across multiple platforms telling of my experience. Within a couple of hours two different people from Princess were phoning and emailing me, I ignored them because I was still upset. I finally picked up and spoke to a nice gentlemen named Henry, he was very sympathetic to my plight and wanted to do right by me, he urged me to re-book with some very attractive pricing. Like an idiot I fell for it and he transferred me to the billing department where I once again used my CC to pay, I logged into my banking website to check and the attractive prices he quoted were in US dollars (my original cost was in CAN dollars), It was almost $2000 more than my original cost. Once again, I was upset and immediately called and cancelled. The customer service at Princess Cruises is atrocious and I feel like they absolutely screwed me over! BE VERY CAREFUL when dealing with them!

No statement of charged

When I finished my cruise with Princess, I was never given any type of summary of charges. I did spend in excess of $20,000 for a seven day cruise to Alaska. While the cruise was mostly enjoyable I have contacted Princess three times to try to get a summary of charges. I have yet to receive any kind of indication of what I was being charged for for this reason I would never cruise with Princess again.

We have just returned from a sky…

We have just returned from a sky princess 5 day cruise. Instead of a relaxing 5 day break it was more like a booze cruise from days gone by. Have travelled on P&O and Cunard in the past and after this experience will be returning. Stay clear of Princess Cruises they are a con company.
