I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Lycamobile UK. Before my holiday in London, I purchased 4 eSIMs to use mobile internet during my stay. Two of them couldn’t be activated due to technical errors, so I had to buy two more. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the plans were set to auto-renew, and I was charged again for all 2 cards — even the ones that never worked. Since I'm no longer in the UK, I can't log in to my Lycamobile account to cancel the subscriptions — the app sends verification codes via SMS, but Lycamobile numbers don’t work outside the UK. I reached out to customer service via email, explained everything in detail, and even attached proof of payment. It's been weeks and I never received any reply. This lack of response and support is unacceptable. I lost money for a service I’m not using, with no way to stop it or even speak to someone. I strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Lycamobile.

Low price hides appalling service and coverage

From the get go the service coverage was awful, and the customer service worse. Several calls to technical support to try and resolve the issue, were I think, designed to get me beyond my cooling off period meaning I had to buy my way out of the contract. A truly terrible experience that I would urge people to avoid. The price may be great, but all that glistens isn't gold. Follow up. After their request for more information, which was supplied, I haven't heard anything, other than a request for more more for an already settled bill. Don't know why I expected anything else. Truly awful customer service. Sadly it's not possible to leave anything less than one star, which is a shame because they really haven't earned it.

Great provider!

I have been with lycamobile for a few months now and they have been great never had to call customer service and the plans are cheap and use reliable towers would recommend. :)

The worst customer service ever received

The worst service ever received. 3 hrs on the phone yesterday over the space of 5 calls only to be “transfered to pay monthly” which never answers and goes dead. All i want to do is port my number and i cannot get any help whatsoever. The foreign people manning the helpdesk dont even talk over the phone. They stay silent saying the phone is breaking up when its clearly not. No customer service. If no help within the next few days am deleting lyca completely. This is utterly unacceptable to see the same terrible frustrating practices and complaints on facebook 7 years ago still happening today in 2025. I am making a video for youtube . These practices over 7 years have to come out in the open. So frustrating!!

No sim cards. No help

Bought sim cards. They were posted and "delivered" - just not to my address. I emailed back immediately but a week later I haven't even received an acknowledgement, let alone the sim cards I paid for. Summary - took my money and ran. Won't ever think about this company again!

My plan came to the end then went up…

My plan came to the end then went up over double the price without telling me. Phoned customer service when I eventually got through told them I told them I wasn't messaged of my bill was going up by thar much so cancelled it. Was told going to refund me my money it would take around 14 days now over 21 days no refund an have being trying to get through to them but to no avail.

Would rate 0 if I could

Would rate 0 if I could Ordered esim and received a number that's still being used by some random dude in Telegram I log on to telegram and he's still there - the only reason I got a Lyca esim was to use Telegram They won't refund me or change the number as the sim has apparently been inactive and I tried to explain, dude only uses wifi for his Telegram and the UK NUMBER STAY AWAY FROM LYCA MOBILE! BAD SERVICE
