Dreadful service

Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

Horrible service

Horrible service! Our usage for 2 householder became extremely high from 1 month to the other. When we moved in to the property payed only Β£25 for a few month and later Β£42 for another few month and then just like that our bill jumped to Β£110. Obviously we was wondering why did that happen so contacted with them. They asked us to do a leak test, and when we done it and said that the water meter moved quite quickly even when the main tap is closed they only forced us to call a plumber bacause in their opinion it only can be internal so they have nothing to do with it. So we called a plumber who confirmed that the water meter is extremely old and probably faulty as well (I think this would be part of Anglian Water's job, not our plumber's). After our plumber reported this to them 2 month LATER they've changed the water meter. I was waiting for the new bill to see how much would it be with the new water meter, but instead of that they only emailed to us that the usage still high (that's it, no any action taken again). So we called the plumber again cause we realised that the new water meter again spins very quickly (also send a video for them about it) when we used nothing, took 2 pictures too from the time when we wasn't at home that numbers did change on the meter. Our plumber called them again since he was here that he literally checked everything internal and there is not an issue in the house what would justify that high usage! A few weeks later they finally sent someone who actually checked our new water meter (for a massive 3 minutes) and said there is no problem with it. I told him very detaily how much water we use with my hb per day, he also agreed that it is not more than official the daily average. So he called an other colleague who was working in the office and told her what he realised (nothing). The lady on the phone said that she can see that the usage was high but now its back to normal so probably just the new water meter was too 'sensitive' as it just been fitted less than a month ago. She recommended to do a meter reading every week now for a month. We did it, and at the end of the month we got a bill which is still high and a letter that they actually try to force us to pay over Β£400 for that 5 month as long as my bill was on hold without knowing why is our bill still that high or make sure what is the issue. They willing to do anything, only want money, what I'm obviously will not pay! It is just ridiculous. I rather take other official measures!

Appalling service from Anglian Water

On New Years Day Anglian water had a surge that burst 4 houses main water pipes - We have been told we need a new boundary box - we have a large hole outside our drive full of water- we live on a small lane the hole is affecting Cars - Dog Walkers and Children going to school. The last contact we had was the 24th of January- when contacting Anglian yesterday they said the job had been signed off. Appalling service, Very disappointed in the lack of urgency- the hole has been like this since New Years Day. I would not recommend Anglian Water.

If I could give more than 5 stars I…

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have recently lost my mother and has to phone up to make sure her final bill had been paid. I got through to the most loveliest person I could have wished for under the circumstances...Enid was so lovely and so supportive and was really helpful. I had spoke to other companies throughout the day and none of them offered as much as Enid, nor did they give me their condolences. Thank you Enid, you are such a lovely person

Duff info on Pitsford Web Page

Do not trust the information on the Pitsford Water Web Page. The opening times for the lodge are nonsense. It shows that it is open until 2.00 p.m. I drove there and found it closed. I managed to find a member of staff who said it was only open 8-9 a.m. I told her about the web site but it still shows duff info.

Shocked and Upset by Anglia Water

I have just had to contact Anglia Water for the second time concerning the same problem. They solved the problem initially but it has now reoccurred I just cannot believe in this day and age just how shoddily My wife and I have been treated. We are in our mid seventies and have never witnessed such downright rude and uncaring treatment. We have no choice to put up with this because this is the only water and drainage supply available to us. I won’t go through the details , but we are left shocked and upset by this . UPDATE. I received polite communication from Anglia after this review , requesting details. I forwarded the details and received a reassuring reply. I swiftly receive a phone call , very accommodating and a visit arranged for next morning. Two guys arrived , both of whom have sorted water problems for me previously. They methodically set about the problem , polite and down to earth. They left no stone unturned. It is a weird problem and although not resolved they left me reassured and with a plan. I am unable to alter the star rating as I feel I was badly let down by my earlier experience but , I have to say ,the customer service and second visit from the two chaps was superb and merits 5 stars. From this I have to say well done Trustpilot, you earned your beans and to Anglia Water thank you for the second half and to hope that you realise what an important part of your organisation people are. Thanks.

FANTASTIC SERVICE

I discovered a leak coming from below the shower tray. A plumber attended and ended up having to smash out the shower tray and some tiles. He managed to stop the leak. I then looked on Anglian Water's website and at 8pm on Wednesday evening submitted their 'water leak compensation' form. At 1pm today (17 hours later) I received an email from Tincy Titus advising me that Anglian Water had looked at my water usage going back to 2020, and as a consequence had credited my account with quite a substantial amount of money. They had also greatly reduced my monthly direct debit. I am not easily impressed, but how many firms would have the balls to take such positive action, as quickly as this, without numerous forms and photographs having to be submitted. Well done Anglian Water. It is great customer service like this that keeps customers. Thank you very much.

Couldn't manage a cheese and wine party!?

Absolutely hopeless in terms of administration and process. I have built a house myself. Commissioned Anglian Water to install the meter on site. They came out twice from Peterborough. Now I've moved in I want to set the account up. Anglian Water can't find my house in their system, Royal Mail has it listed as well as the Council. I sent a photo of the meter and the tag with the serial number. Three emails, two calls later they want to come and find my house, meter and stopcock (unexplained) so they can bill me. So a guess, seven members of staff to set this up. Instead of one, ringing Peterborough, confirming the installation, the serial number with my photo. To cap it all, they want me to take time off work for 4 hours to confirm what I've already told and shown them.
