Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

Had a small leak from a supply pipe on our drive over the Christmas period, needed a private company to repair and had a bit of a run around as we have no stop tap, but finally today a private plumber came to repair, couldn’t shut off the supply so Adam Bradford from Anglian Water came to advise & couldn’t have been any more helpful. Assisted by squeezing off supply & locating leak. Great bloke and first class response/help. Thank you again, you saved the day.

As an avid angler I reached out to #AnglianWater asking questions about the type of fishing tackle I need to fish the lakes. The feedback I got from Neil Atkins (Retail Team Leader) was phenomenal to say the least. Neil went out of his way to explain exactly what I need in great detail. I am overwhelmed with this as he could have just answered my question and moved on. I have been trying to arrange to get my garden cleaned as a main drain in my garden that connects with many houses has exploded and there is human feces everywhere. This is has been impossible, they're promising calls backs and not giving them. Saying they'll be there at 4pm and coming at 8:30am when I'm asleep or at work, saying they'll coming between 1 and 6pm then arriving at 4pm and saying it's too dark. It is an absolute joke and I'm fortunate enough that so far no one has gotten ill.

I had a significant complaint which they worked with me to resolve and treated me fairly. The error shouldn't have happened however I did feel like they cared to resolve it.

Stop dumping raw sewage in our rivers and use some of your profits on resolving the problem. Every drop counts is a complete lie. No company should make money out of an essential thing like water that we all need to live.

Anglian Water have always been a 5 star service as far as I’m concerned. Doesn’t take long to get through to the correct department, very polite and helpful staff always with a good manner. I spoke to Emma today. I’ve never had a problem that wasn’t sorted. Well done Anglian Water.

There was a problem with my fence after some groundworks had been done outside my house. Contacted Anglian Water and they got back to me with 24 hours and sorted the issue out within a few days. Kept up to date all along. Very impressed with the level of service. Thank you.

Following on from my original post (mainly because I ran out of characters from all my updates). Still being ignored after texting Charmaine after being given her number to allow me to stay in direct contact. Granted I was away for two weeks but I picked this up immediately upon my return, which has now been another week. I only have one piece of work outstanding, before I can actually get back to resolving the main issue of my ridiculous water bill (caused by an Anglian Water meter leaking...) and get some compensation for what I can only describe as being the most stressful and drawn out process I've encountered in the last 6 months. Update 27/11/21: Hope you're ready for this one Aaron because this has now reached a point where as a company you should be bl**dy ashamed of yourselves. I've just had a conversation with a technician who has arrived to replace my water meter (apparently this is routine) only to find out that it is using water i.e. leaking when nothing in the house is being used. So every minute and hour that I have spent chasing this has seemingly been for nothing as the issue was and has still not been resolved. I want to speak to someone higher up as this has reached a point now where I am considering pursuing legal advice on grounds of negligence. I am absolutely disgusted that something so straightforward has caused me so much upheaval. Someone needs to call me...TODAY. Update 21/12/21: Anglian Water have been out to visit my property again today. Following another visit this week (Monday) to attempt to repair my leak again. In closing they said that subject to a new meter being fitted, the problem would be fixed. The new meter was fitted, but the problem is still there. Darren visited the property today who although was not completely unhelpful despite the fact he said that this problem was "Beyond his professional ability..." most of the conversation we shared during the visit was what we had already heard before. So to close on today, we had a leak and we still have a leak, only this time...Anglian Water are washing their hands of it and refusing to do any more. We will now proceed with our insurers, but considering all the time, money and emotional upheaval you have caused, this isn't over. As for the £500 compensation we were offered that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface.
