At first I found it tricky to navigate the app but once it was done it was very efficient.

It was really difficult to transfer money from my bank account. Wise kept saying it was my Bank, but my Bank couldn’t find any problems.

Absolutely terrible experience with Wise. I used my account for 4 years to receive legitimate client payments from the USA, with valid invoices and proof of income. Yet Wise suddenly closed my accoun... See more
Reliable financial provider with an easy to use app
So simple to complete the money transfer
Regarding product functionality, the app performs well. However, customer support requires significant improvement. Automated systems and FAQs are acceptable for standard inquiries, but edge cases require human intervention. Unfortunately, my experience with a support agent (Liz) was disappointing, she repeatedly gave automated-style responses and terminated the chat prematurely. Excellent app features are meaningless if support is unavailable during critical moments. Wise must ensure that human agents provide genuine assistance when automated systems fall short.
Easy to use and really convenient
For my experience of wise application excellent
Superb very easy to use so good
Took me 6 days, WITH a verified account.
It was relatively straightforward and easy. My only criticism is that it could be easier to transfer money to Wise, via my banking app. To do so via my banking app requires a 6 digit BSB, an account number and an account name. But Wise only gives me one number, so I wasn't able to make the transfer using my banking app. Instead I had to make the transfer by entering my debit card details, which incurs a fee. My advice to Wise is to make banking app transfers easier.
easy to use once you understand how to purchase internationally.
I love how quick one can give money to another person in just about any denomination.
I have used Wise two or three times a year for the past five years to send money to our son in Indonesia. Out of the blue, I received an email from Wise saying “we’ve closed your account” with no reason or right to appeal. I have an excellent credit rating and have a Barclays Wealth Account. What an absurd decision!
This account has made my life so much easier and more economic way to pay Foregn bills
I have used Wise for more than seven years and held Wise shares from the day of the listing. I am from Estonia and was always proud that Wise was created by Estonians. For years I was an unpaid ambassador for the app and invited many people to use it. The last week has ended all of that. My profile was put under a due diligence review, and it has now been going on for about a week. I have four accounts: one personal and three business. The business accounts can neither send nor receive money. For a company this means the business stops overnight. I had to urgently open accounts with other neobanks and traditional banks just to keep the companies running. Oddly, card payments still work – only transfers are blocked. What disappointed me most is the silence. No notification in the app, no email, nothing on the website. About three weeks ago a banner appeared asking me to verify my address. I did it and provided all the files. Why all three businesses were then blocked at the same time, nobody has explained. Support is of no help and tells me nothing. And yes, I have read all of Wise's guidance on account verification. The most telling part: I wrote to support and asked for one simple thing – a written confirmation that my accounts, or the account of each company, are currently blocked. I needed it to forward to my business partners, to show them that a due diligence review is in progress and my funds are unavailable for now. Nobody at Wise was able to provide it. So Wise blocks a company's money and will not even put that in writing. To me this means the company takes no responsibility for what it does. I fully agree that checks are necessary and periodic reviews are normal. But the way Wise does it is last century. I would not be surprised if the next request is to send a document by fax, give a landline number and confirm my pager number. I have sold all my Wise shares, and I will withdraw all my money as soon as it becomes available. In these few days I found several good alternatives whose compliance and support teams respond within one or two days. If your business depends on sending and receiving money, read this before you rely on Wise as your main account. You will probably see an automated reply from Wise right below this review, suggesting that I check their guidance on account verification and how long it can take. That is exactly the experience: just like here on Trustpilot, in their support you keep getting robots that cannot help you.
I cant transfer money from my account to wise account worse account ive ever seen in my life
It is so simple to use , the support team is helpful and useful, transferring and managing the money in the bank is practical. My favourite online bank so far.
Fast and user-friendly
Honestly I loved Wise until now. They simply blocked my receiving and sending money, because they are reviewing my recently uploaded documents. I mean, you are traveling and relying on Wise for paying and transfering money and now that? That's a no go. Why shouldn't I have access to MY money while they are reviewing things. Support tells they have many documents to verify, alright, but what has this to do with blocking ones money? It's their fault, not mine. Overcontrolling peoples well earned money, coming from their own account. Completely wrong what they are doing.
I’ve used Wise for over 12 years now and still very happy with it. Low transaction fees, fast and reliable service with very few issues over years. I haven’t done a re-evaluation recently (eg with Revolut), but I cannot imagine swapping would bring any significant gains. One gripe (common with almost all other services) is getting to speak with an actual person. Overall, would still recommend.
I have had a Wise account for several years now. It is easy to use and clearly saves a lot of money over conventional banks. I would recommend Wise to anyone even if travelling occasionally.
Optimal FX for international business ops.

Wise (formerly TransferWise) is a London-headquartered financial technology company that moves money across borders. It was founded in 2011 by Kristo Käärmann and Taavet Hinrikus, renamed from TransferWise to Wise in 2021, and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Wise's core pitch is that it converts currency at the mid-market exchange rate, the rate you see on a search engine, and charges a separate, disclosed fee rather than marking up the rate. Beyond one-off international transfers, it offers a multi-currency account that can hold and convert dozens of currencies, local account details in several countries for receiving payments, a debit card for spending abroad, and Wise Business accounts for invoicing, paying suppliers and running payroll internationally. Wise operates as a regulated money services business: in the UK it is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, and in the US it is registered with FinCEN and licensed at the state level. Like any payments provider, it can ask customers to complete identity verification and may hold or review transfers that trigger compliance checks, which is a common theme in customer feedback. Fees, rates, supported currencies and transfer times vary by route and change over time.
