Palm Desert Villa Paradise, nice but trashy yard & cold pool

Prior to our stay, we exchanged 34 emails with Turnkey, afterward NONE! Terrible Customer Service. Although we really liked the inside of the house, which is really designed for 10-12 people, not 16, we had problems with the outside, the pool, and lighting fixtures. After five calls to Tunkey to get fix these problems, 24 hours later a person came to clean only the BBQ and tables ( not pick up trash of beer cans, beer boxes, cigarette buds & used pizza boxes), and another person fixed seven of the 11 broken lights. The pool maintenance came three days later, seems the instructions in book were incorrect! The biggest frustration was dealing with Turnkey afterwards...lack of customer service! After three months of zero call backs or return emails, I had to finally call my credit card company to dispute the cleaning fee and pool heating charges. So disappointed, as a little CS goes a long way!

I had booked originally with Airbnb but…

I had booked originally with Airbnb but in the middle of booking, all money sent, I heard from Airbnb contact owner of the home that everything was being transferred to Turnkey. Ok…fine but I had legit questions closer to booking date and it took 6 days to have the home team member that is in charge of the place I booked to get a hold of me. They did not honor my original Airbnb agreement with check in/out time and gave so much conflicting information. I was done and canceled. I like Airbnb much better as you actually speak to the owner of the property not some person in an office that know absolutely nothing!

Superb experience

The communication with TurnKey was more than excellent through text and email. The property is in a great location, everything was explained thoroughly and clearly. It was well stocked, clean, and as described. We had no issues with anything.

Nice Rental Experience On St Pete Beach Florida…

I rented a place on St Pete Beach Florida. The Unit was Extremely Clean, well maintained and well stocked with everything that a vacation rental should have. The process was hassle free. I had an issue with parking and it was addressed immediately. I would Use TurnKey again without reservation. "Highly Recommend"

Beware

I want to provide feedback on our recent stay through Turnkey. We stayed in unit C302 in Santa Rosa Beach and it was not maintained. A list of issues we reported included elevator not working, icemaker not working, dryer had air flow but wouldn’t dry clothes, two televisions not working, the kitchen faucet literally was inoperable because it was so loose, water flow for the toilet in the front bedroom had issues, several of the outlets did not work and had not been upgraded, and there was an infestation of ants. I finally just stopped reporting issues because there were so many and there is no property management on site to follow up on requests for repairs or help with work around. That’s all work for the paying guests. Requests have to be texted or phoned in to a call center where someone replies back and says, “…the home team has been contacted….” It was not clean and, overall, was in shabby condition. Definitely not worth the premium price we paid nor do the pictures on the web site accurately represent the unit we stayed in.

Fine stay! As advertised

As advertised. Good value for area. Well appointed. Clean. Great location. Comfortable. Turnkey was super responsive when we needed an extra box fan. Cable TV access needs fine tuned. Would stay here again.

A Fantastic Stay

I'm shocked to see so many negative 1 star reviews for turnkey. Our experience was exactly the opposite a total five star from beginning to end. We rented one unit in a triplex in Seattle Washington. It was super clean, well maintained, well appointed kitchen and decorated in a simple practical elegant fashion. It had a private yard, beautifully maintained. Friends who visited us were all surprised at how wonderful it was andeverybody fell in love with the place. Turn key was very easy to deal with and pleasant. The unit exceeded our expectations and help make our stay in Seattle a memorable one.

DO NOT USE TURNKEY

DO NOT USE TURNKEY! YOU'LL REGRET IT. (and their response to this review continues the joke of what they call customer service) While the property on Cape Cod was nice overall, the outdoor shower was broken, filled with wet leaves and old shampoo bottles, and unusable. The outdoor furniture was covered in green mold. Worse than that was the intruding work crews that showed up on the property multiple days w/o our prior knowledge to do work in the yard that was long overdue (according to the workers). The worse part of all was that the owner of the property gave a lawncare person the access code to the house (we were shown the text) and he came in unannounced and scared our daughter-in-law who was in the living room with her toddlers. TURNKEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ANY COMPLAINTS, and they argue with you if you call their help line. What a joke. We have used VRBO and Airbnb for years and years and have never had problems. RENTERS BEWARE. Turnkey is money driven and not interested in you!

We loved the condo!

We loved the condo, very convenient to restaurants and shops! Clean and updated, perfect for a family get away. It was a good walk to the beach and you had to cross a busy 30A, but we all enjoy walking so not a problem. The pool and landscaping were well maintained and beautiful. Definitely recommend this property 👌 👍 🙂

Our experience with Turnkey (our first)…

Our experience with Turnkey (our first) was overall very good. Although the house was clean, there were some issues with broken doorknobs and the main screen door had a piece missing and sitting on a table in the living room. But when we had issues entering the code for the unit, they were so very responsive via text, which I really appreciated. I texted a couple of other times with a question or a comment and again, so kind and responsive. I always appreciate good communication!

11 Laredo Condo in Silverthorne, CO

The condo in Silverthorne, CO (11 Laredo) was AMAZING! House layout worked so well, no one heard anyone in their bedrooms at night & only a couple times did we hear the kiddos run down the stairs in the morning. Beautifully decorated, kitchen stocked well, good amount of starter products (shampoo, dish soap, hand soaps, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc), huge TVs in 4 rooms that were great, W/D in unit, hot tub (didn’t use), ice/water maker, nice appliances, everything we needed for our stay in Colorado with our friends. We all really loved it!

Terrible customer service! I created the situation by not reading…

I created the situation by not reading the fine print that said I had to book resort passes for Bayside rentals when I booked the rental. I booked in.Mar 3021 for a stay in August. Then in June I tried to book resort passes. I spoke to several reps who all said they would get back to me and never did. After repeated calls a supervisor did call me back but just said repeatedly "I am sorry." Which was no help. So I turned to Bayside for help. With their assistance finally a Turnkey rep agreed to make it happen. And I got the passes. On checkin dat we got a message saying checkin would be delayed by an.hour. then the lock code did not work and 10 of us, including a toddler stood around for 30 minutes before we could get in. That said. The unit was fine. Turnkey service was lacking.

BEWARE! Never again...

I wish I could say that I had a fabulous trip but this was by far worst Airbnb experience since 2017. If the owner or Turnkey would have handled this in a manner where they valued your customer experience, time and money then the review would reflect differently. Rented a house in Palm Springs, Ca. Upon arrival the A/C would not work; would not go below 80 degrees. Called Turnkey for help. Soonest could have someone come out was 9:30-11 pm at night which we were not comfortable with having someone there that late at night. So we had to go to Lowes to buy a fan. Magically the A/C began to work hours later as if someone had remotely taken off the master controls and set schedule or override. The Hot Tub was a hue of green on the bottom from not being cleaned. Needless to say did not get in it. The Pool/Spa lights did not work. Again called Turnkey and put in a work order request. Before pool lights issues were fixed we had a kitchen sink flooding issue which we tried to make dinner. Again called Turnkey for yet another work order request. Still at this point not one representative from Turnkey bothered to physically come to the property, personally call with an apology or since or this being an urgent mater to show any ounce of remorse for all the issues been dealing with since our arrival. Finally the pool man shows up 7-8 pm to let us know its a faulty switch and had to get approval before could come back and replace it. Which never got replaced while we were there. So they never completed fixing that issue. And we never received a call from Turnkey asking if that issue was resolved and addressed. So again no follow through from Turnkey just like with the A/C. Get an update about the plumbing the soonest a plumber could be out would not be until after 11:30 pm at night. Once again not acceptable with us. This is our vacation which we had already waited for a pool man to come by since 8am now they want us to stay awake and let some strange man come into the house that late at night and be there for who knows how long to repair it??? Evidently this is acceptable behavior to Turnkey and the owner for the guest to have to accommodate this type of inconvenience and unprofessional behavior. I have never encountered a company where they expect and make it feel as if it is the customer's fault an issue isn't resolved because I do not find it professional or acceptable to have a unannounced, unaffiliated vendor come to the house that late at night. We asked for late check out since we really had not been able to enjoy our time as we had hopped and the request was denied. Really?!? After all we had gone through? This place already had a later check in and early check out then most rentals. I requested for management to contact us several difference times throughout our stay which never happened. When I returned home I had to call and demand to speak with manager. When finally spoke with the manager Kim she was the worst employee I had dealt with with Turnkey. And I had dealt with a number of different employees over the course of 5 days trying to get this resolved. It was clear that they do not pride themselves on customer service or experience. After all this the compensation for my inconveniences was worth to them $55.00. I spent over $1300 on a rental with a $225 cleaning fee with numerous issues and inconveniences with maintenance people coming ever day of the short weekend stay. $55 doesn't cover the cost of dinner had to order out since we had no working sink or the fan had to go buy to stay cool. Worst part of all I confirmed the owner was aware of this issue and didn't bother to reach out directly to us with an apology or anything. BEWARE!!! That is what you can expect to happen should you be the unfortunate ones to be there when something goes wrong.

Worst vacation experience ever!!!

Horrible company! Horrible customer service! Rented house for girls trip. Arrived to a broken toilet, filthy pool, broken Ice machine and garbage disposal. Call after call to them and nothing was done! 112-113 degrees outside and unable to use pool! Unbelievable! Then they offer a 75 dollar refund??? How about our whole trip was ruined and we expect a full refund. We now have the names of the owners of the house so I guess we will contact them to let them know how horrible our experience was. don't believe anything they said in their reply to this review either because its a lie!!! We called the minute we checked in and we couldn't use the pool until our last day!!! That is not good customer service. We also told them about the broken toilet and they never even offered to come and fix it!!! This company is a joke!!!! we are now contacting the owners of the house to make sure they are aware of exactly what kind of company they have working for them!!!!

If you rent through AIRBNB and are…

If you rent through AIRBNB and are tempted by a turnkey property, do not do it. They are very inflexible and a heartless bottom line, money oriented business. My husband had a major accident and we tried to change our dates or request a credit or refund and they are 100% inflexible. They say they will follow AIRBNB's policy, which AIRBNB states is that it is up to the owner/host to make exceptions. They were unwilling to work with us at all.

Avoid TurnKey at all costs.

I recently rented a TurnKey property for 1 week. When we arrived at the property, an entire floor of the house had not been cleaned. Dirty sheets on bed, soiled towels and dishes lying around, dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Not only were we greatly inconvenienced, we were also exposed to germs during COVID. When we contacted TurnKey for a partial refund, the assured us that we would receive one. However, it took us calling them 5-6 more times (over a two week period) to get them to finally issue us an $80 refund on an almost $7000 booking! Any normal property manager/owner would have offered us at least 1-2 days of our trip refunded. Every part of dealing with this company has been a nightmare. Their customer service people sound helpful, but no one actually does anything and the person handling your account can never be reached and definitely will NOT call you back. This only scratches the surface of how frustrating dealing with them has been. Avoid TurnKey at all costs.
