TurnKey Vacation Rentals

A/C was either changed via app from someone or A/C is programmed wrong. Every night the house would get to about 76 degrees. Had HVAC man come out and was told it is programmed likely this way. Made sleeping hard. As well, no electrical in our downstairs bathroom the entire stay. Called about both issues. I Would not stay again, it ruined an important business meeting with 2 guests finding hotel rooms instead. I was told we would be compensated, but nothing, and no e mail response either.

This property was nice and clean. The privacy and quietness away from the beach crowds was definitely a plus. Other than there needing to be more updates done, electrical wiring issues, and the house being a bit small for exactly 8 people— I would definitely recommend this property!

Very nice and comfy. Had plenty of games for the kiddos to play. Will be a return guest again.

Our stay in Palmilla Beach was top notch! The home was perfectly clean upon arrival and everything was taken care of. We'll definitely use TurnKey to stay at Palmilla Beach again in the future!

This house does not have AC. However, Turnkey was responsive and placed a portable AC in the home while I was there and the weather cooled after about three days. The house is fine and has a nice little courtyard out front. There’s a backyard that has been ignored and is mostly unusable due to lack of privacy and lack of furniture. There were ants - when unwashed plates left in the sink - cleaners left a vinegar solution spray bottle to address. The house is on the corner and when you open bedroom windows to cool the room, traffic can wake you up in the mornings. Bedrooms are large - bathrooms are a little small but adequate. The neighborhood seems to be in transition and there was a yummy restaurant 1 block over and a small market across from there. Turnkey provided three tiny rolls of TP per bath which were gone within a couple days. We bought 12 normal size rolls and hid the remaining whole rolls throughout the house so next guests could go on an Easter Egg hunt. Overall, it was clean, I slept well - portable AC cooled okay during the day. It’s near Railyard and historical districts, Starbucks w/in driving distance, Owl liquor store a little scary.

The properties were well taken care of. Instructions were incredibly clear considering I stayed at multiple places that weren’t on the gps. There was also 24/7 assistance available and, for me, that was a game changer. The service provided over the phone on several occasions was exceptional.

Was a great place to stay for our vacation. Everything we did was a short driving distance and how our condo was on the beach. My most favorite was our balcony facing the ocean and was able to drink my morning coffee listening to the calm ocean waves. It's was so spectacular. Thank you for the awesome experience!

We really enjoyed the location of this property. It’s close to gallery’s and restaurants on Canyon road, a great walking path, Museum Hill and of course, the main part of town. The main square is a bit more of a walk but definitely doable. The one thing to know about the property is that the downstairs is Not air conditioned and can get warm during the day. There are plenty of fans available for use. Upstairs is very comfy with in room AC for sleeping. It may be pretty warm in the heat of summer but we experienced a bit of a cool trend while there in mid July. It’s very clean and the property manager was more than helpful with questions we had. We’d return during the cooler seasons for sure!

The unit was clean and in a great location. The only feedback for improvement is the WiFi bandwidth and the unit needs some repairs. There were places where paint was missing or doors out of the tracks. Other than those small things it was perfect!

We stayed at Palmilla Beach Resort for the 2nd year in a row and had a fabulous time. It really is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to have some fun in the sun, just relax by the pool or the ocean, and spend quality time with family and friends. Our condo was immaculate when we arrived and very clean. We had all the amenities we needed and then some. Everything worked and we did not need to contact Turnkey at all for help (remotes, lights, AC, etc). It was a seamless vacation as far as our condo and cleanliness.

Great location, very safe area. Property was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Communication was exceptional! Can’t wait to book another stay with TurnKey!

There was an issue that I addressed about my rental. The response was immediate but no action was able to be taken so I received a refund for the inconvenience. So I was very pleased with the outcome. A pleasure to book with Turnkey.

We had the best time during our vacation. We did run into one issue with trying to get the tv to work, but the staff were available 24/7 and even came out to help us!! It was the last thing I expected, but it made our experience that much better. Also, there were tons of towels, space, and kitchen utensils. We didn't have to buy anything extra except the food we needed. They even have a separate ice machine! We will definitely use this rental service again and probably the same house.

In general the condo was a decent place to stay. Pros: It was close to beach access and relatively clean. Nice to have beach cart and chairs. Cons: Mainly minor but added up. Hard surface floors were somewhat tacky upon our arrival (liquid cleaner?) and light sand was there and in rugs (a more thorough vacuuming might’ve been warranted - I get it’s beach property). We did find water bottles under a chair and the bed in the master. One bathroom did not have toilet paper. For a room meant for up to 8 the dinner plates fell short (4) and drinkware was all glass/heavy ceramic (no larger sizes or kid safe cups). Three of the four mattresses are severely worn and need to be replaced. On the Master bed you could actually see the divots on both sides of the mattress. Also three of the rooms had large patch marks on the walls (not sure from what). Not a big deal itself but we got an early morning knock on the door our first morning there from a painter asking to work on the walls. We had to hurry and get “decent” and clear things out of the way from those areas expected to be painted. His “5 minutes” turned into around 30 and he ended up only painting one wall. Cushions on balcony chairs need a good cleaning - black mold? Actual complex had exterior painting going on as well which limited parking. Not things you remedy (quickly or at all) with a call to the rental service but more so things that should be addressed prior to arrival.

This cozy apartment was in a very convenient location. Within walking distance to the beach and a scenic walk to State Street. I loved that I didn’t have to worry about carrying a key with me everywhere we went. The lock system on the front door was so easy to work yet so secure. The place smelled and looked so clean when we arrived. I would highly recommend staying here on another trip to Santa Barbara.

The condo was nice and clean. We managed to fit 5 adults, 3 teenagers, and 2 toddlers (I wouldn’t suggest anyone actually do this though). Their bedroom with 2 pull out twin sofas should be a king bed because there is a bathroom attached to the room. The condo had everything we needed dish wise, extra trash bags, lighter fluid for the little pit, etc. The only downfall of the place was the pool was really small.

The home we rented was great. Just as advertised. Turnkey gave detailed instructions on just about every aspect of the home. Tv, lights, garbage days, wi-fi, hot tub, check in and out, etc. Made it very easy to know what to do. Also, supplied amenity soaps, lotions, shampoos. It eas a wonderful experience.

I've booked many vacation homes through TurnKey. The company is fast, responsive and helpful. Representatives are warm, kind and understanding. For example. We decided to take our dogs, last minute. I called, they took my credit card info and that was that. Easy breezy. The only complicated issue I have come across is the electronic key pad to gain access to the rental; there are 10 random numbers emailed/texted, which you must hang on to as this replaces the need for a key. When your hands are full of luggage, or when you're fumbling for your phone to find the code, it can be slightly annoying. But really, that's a small complaint in comparison to the excellence that is TurnKey.

I found that the info about the property and the instructions for entering the property very helpful. Also, I appreciated that there was a real person who responded to texts. There were several issues with the property that were problematic for us. I think TurnKey was helpful in responding quickly to a blocked toilet downstairs as well as info regarding code to the hottub. They could not solve the ice machine not working. Not sure if they are responsible for cleanliness, but there were icky black spiders mashed on the walls in the small bedroom and the entry foyer. Also, the sheets for the king size bed were not big enough. Lack of air conditioning was a problem and the super loud fans were not great at night. Not clear what they have control over, but I left a review of the problems we had with the property on VRBO.
