TurnKey Vacation Rentals

The rental was really nice and everything was clean!

We had a last hurrah before school started, and apparently so did everyone else, so we definitely paid top dollar! This Beachwalker unit became available so we grabbed it rather last minute. The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed, down to sunscreen in the closet. The communication is primarily via text. I did have to reach out for the door code, and that was answered within a short time (maybe 20 minutes). The only issue we had was the microwave was completely dead- we didn't discover this until the next morning after arrival. I texted, and within an hour, Marie brought a replacement. The mattress was so great my hubs wants me to find out the brand so we can get one for home!!

Will never book through this company EVER again. Not flexible in rescheduling (not even asking to cancel!) due to California being on fire. They would rather potentially put renters in harms way than have any flexibility.

Same as the person below, tmwe tried to reschedule our Tahoe trip and absolutely worthless company wouldn't do anything period while there is a wildfire out of control and air quality is very bad with 2 people that have asthma. You have to purchashe THEIR travel insurance supposedly to cover unforseen circumstances or Acts of God. BULLS***. Unbelieveable lack of customer service or regards for an unconrollable circumstance that they should be accommodating for. Never again with these people. I'd rather sleep in a carboard box than give them any business in the future.

Rented a place in Weaverville, NC. No major issues. Nice property, perfect location. Minor issue with the washing machine on the last day, but no big deal. Overall, a good experience. Team was responsive and professional.

We have been trying to reschedule our Tahoe trip for this upcoming weekend due to a wildfire that started three days and have been unable to talk to anyone. Air quality in Tahoma is currently 600, which is hazardous. Evacuations are mandatory just a couple of miles away, and roads are being closed, but they won't help us. We have spent hours on the phone with their 24/7 line, but haven't been able to talk to a supervisor or anyone who could even try help us. There is no air purifying system in the house we rented and they are not concerned at all that it would be a hazard to our health to stay there. We don't even want our $2000 back, we just want to reschedule for a time when our vacation won't be a risk to our health. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. VRBO has not been helpful either. Will never book with either site again.

I stayed at the Pilot House at Baytowne Wharf, Sandestin, FL. The unit was clean and fairly well appointed. Turnkey Customer Service representatives were responsive, professional, friendly, and very helpful.

We had an exceptional experience with TurnKey...start to finish! The house was beautiful and spotless when we arrived and communication was seamless. The house had everything that we needed for a two week stay and was in a great location (close to everything, but not too busy). Based on our experience, we will definitely book a TurnKey property again in the future.

Wow, I've rented quite a few AirBnB/VRBO stays over the years, and have never had such great service as my recent rental with TurnKey. The communications were exceptional...frequent, thorough, and clear.

Very difficult to talk to a live person. Responses to texts were slow. We could have had an early check in but they said no. Housekeeping had done the turnover early. This is a direct result of absentee owner ( turnkey) not being in touch with local management. Fun place to spend a few days if you’re doing mid coast Maine stuff. Expensive.

From start to finish I found Turnkey to be very organized, professional and easy to work with. They were accurate on the description of the property. They kept me informed through email and txt on the details such as when my payment will be processed and what I needed to know to check in. They provided a video on how to use the lock on the front door along with a direct phone number if I needed any further help. The home was in great condition. Very clean!! Once we arrived and checked in, I received a text to check if the cleanliness was up to our standards. They also provide a technology pad for any thing we would need to know about the home. They had a welcome book that gave suggestions on places to go in the area along with services that might be needed. My overall experience was excellent!!! I’ve already checked to see if they have homes in other areas we plan to travel. Turnkey will be my new go to for rental vacation homes. They have raised the standard.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful and clean property! Just the right size for my husband and I and also very convenient to everything:-)

The villa is very nice, has the potential to be great! The Pro's: 1. The villa is in a very good location, especially if you are sticking to the Sonoma side of wine country. A bit far for Napa but it is doable. Very private and large property! 2. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and has everything you could need for cooking and eating a meal at home. 3. Loved having the chickens and their eggs on property. We fed them leftover herbs and fruit. 4. The house is good for couples (there were two couples in our party) but would be great for three couples or a family. For the Con's: 1. The rental company says many times in the pre-arrival communications "we will notify you if you can have an early check in (4pm) or a late check out (10am)." Upon further investigation, the home does not allow early or late check in's at all so I wish they had just been forthcoming about that from the beginning. 2. The master bedroom: there are no curtains on most of the windows and both of the closets are locked. I feel like at this price point you should have access to a closet in the master bedroom. If you like to sleep in darkness, bring an eye mask. 3. The outdoor gardens were very messy around the pool. It seemed as though someone had done some pruning before we arrived buy never came to clean up. Ladders were left around the pool, etc. Again, at this price point it should be tidy upon arrival. 4. There is a beautiful outdoor kitchen, outdoor fire pit and pizza oven in the kitchen that are all off-limits. Feels a little "look but don't touch" 5. There is a Sonos system but we could not get it to work. Asked for assistance but they were not helpful. 6. The Wi-Fi is terrible. I could go on about this but do not plan to work while you are on the property, FaceTime, etc 7. The property is not completely "yours" or "private" - there are two people living above the barn, which is right next to the house/pool. While we rarely saw them, and never heard them, but the coming and going was a bit awkward. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Over all we had great time! From the beginning with all the info about the house that we received from Turnkey, to the end. The house was so spacious and accommodate all our group. We were there for star gazing during the meteor shower. FREAKING AMAZING, as the yard is open to a field (but fenced) and little to no neighbor, once the moon goes down behind the hills around 10-11 PM, the entire sky shines with stars. The Ho tub was a very fun to have during the night. Definitely will come back again.

Nice place! Had a great vacation. Resort could use a bigger hot tub! Other than that it was great! Room was clean, bed were nice! Pullout bed could be better. Over all great condo! Definitely would rent again!

Absolutely awful customer service. I contacted them hours after leaving the vacation home about a left wedding ring. I was contacted that night that it was located and in their possession. I have had to call for the past 2.5 weeks to get my wedding ring back. Not ONE time have I received a return call, I have had to continuously call and/or use different phones to get them to answer my calls. I have now been told the cleaning lady is still in possession of my property for the past 2.5 weeks and they have never had possession of my property, although I was originally told they had it. I continue to be pushed off advising they will have a supervisor call me, which has yet to happen. They have "made note" of each one of my calls, they have "pushed it to high priority" and still nothing has been taken care of. I would not suggest this company to anyone. Not only is their customer service terrible, but the home has blood stains in it, the bathroom sinks and cabinets were broken, there were stains on the couches and curtains. We were unable to get into our home until an hour after we were told to arrive and we did not even have them clean the pool area because it would have taken even longer! We will never use this place again.

I wish I could give them less stars. Turnkey stole my money. My reservation was canceled by Airbnb on accident, went I went to rebook (and I did, through a different company) Turnkey refused to honor their policy and stated that no refund would be given, despite the fact they posted on their listing that at least a 50% one would be given if canceled at least 30 days out. I'm just a regular person with a family, I guess they need my $1500.

We rented a house on Endless Summer Way in Seacrest, Florida. Although the website stated "if available, we will automatically offer you...a late check out 24 hours in advance of your departure", Turnkey refused to allow a check out after 10:00AM. We travel a lot and it is almost unheard of to have a check-out time of 10:00AM, with no allowance for a late check out if necessary. I had a very important virtual meeting with a potential client that was scheduled for 10:00AM on the day of our departure. I needed to take the call from a quite location. I requested several days in advance for a ONE HOUR extension. I was told "no" because the particular homeowner does not allow late check outs. New renters are not allowed to check in until 4:00PM, giving the cleaning crew six hours to turn the home. I asked for consideration of an exception due to the importance of my call, but was told no. I asked that the home owner be contacted and the exception be requested and my request was denied. The rigid policies of Turnkey Rentals are why we will not rent from them again.

TurnKey was fantastic. We had an unexpected cancellation and they rebooked us somewhere nicer for the same price. They had every amenity you could think of, including 2 air conditioners even though the listing said no air conditioning. All around fantastic.
