TurnKey Vacation Rentals

To be honest, the house and location were perfect; however, the house is in need of a few items that would make it great: new ceiling fans in the bedrooms, mirrors in the bedrooms and better lighting in the bathroom.

It was great place , was perfectly clean when we got there , like 5 to 8 min walk to the beach , there are more beaches were u can drive it only takes 10min driving, the place was very comfortable the kids love it, it also provides with charges for phone , the kitchen was fully equip had everything we needed I will definitely go again there

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. The home was beautiful, fully equipped with everything we needed, and super clean. I would definitely recommend this home and will be back!

The location was amazing and the house fit 6 adults and 6 kids easily. I will say the house could use a little TLC. The fans and the vents all had a heavy layer of dust on them. While the rest of the house was clean, it was definitely and oversite on housekeeping to not wipe those down, at least once a month. The very upstairs media room had a large hole in the wall. It wasn't an issue for us, as we were never up there. But these are the things as a property owner, I would want to have fixed before guests booked, or at least make them aware of. Check in and out was a breeze. We had a great week over all. The beach is beautiful and just a few steps to the water.

It was a great property, and TurnKey was very responsive throughout the entire process. We had issues with the entry code and they answered our call immediately and got us in the property. We needed to extend our trip and they took care of it quickly. the house was also a really great house!

If you don’t care about your neighbors and want to get your tenants evicted, have Turnkey rent your home. This property management company is beyond awful. The customer service representatives don’t know how to handle a simple noise complaint. They promised a neighbor who complained about the noise that they would send a security team out to shut down a party within an hour of the complaint. After 5 hours, Turnkey called the neighbor back to tell them that the security team was onsite and going to evict the tenants. Overall, Turnkeys security never showed up and the party went until 6 am for two nights straight. The management company never notified the owner of the issue and now all of the neighbors are enraged at the owners of the Airbnb. If you want to keep in good standing with your neighbors and make an income on a rental property do not hire this company to manage your home. Update: After speaking with a supervisor, Turnkey has no legal backing to actually evict a tenant. If the tenant refuses to leave Turnkey will continue to do business with the landlord and let the tenants stay within the home until their reservation is completed. This goes against all WA state noise ordinance and landlord/tenant laws. What a joke of a property management company!

We were very pleased with our stay at Cross Gate. It was a nice and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed being near attractions without the noise and business of being near attractions. We did not get to explore to pool while we were there so we can’t speak to that. However we had no issues getting into our condo, even though we arrived late upon our check in day. No issues with the internet or wi fi. Greatly appreciated the washer, dryer, dishwasher, and wonderful ice maker in the unit. One disappointment was that the microwave did not work and the condo was relatively clean upon arrival, however the counters were still sticky and had crumbs. Aside from those two small things we would refer others to stay at the same location in the future and would be open to staying again.

The unit was very clean & nice; however, the kitchen faucet and drain need some attention. When trying to turn the faucet from one sink to the other, the entire faucet base moved with it. Then, when starting the dishwasher, a nasty septic smell came from the drain. All easily resolved, but needed to let know to address. Loved having access to a washer/dryer by the unit to freshen beach clothes. The view was beautiful. The multi-level design made the space much bigger, although I'm not a big fan of going up/down stairs. The bedroom with twin beds did get warm during the day as previous posters have mentioned, but that I believe is due to the heat from the windows in the stairway. The fan mounted on the wall didn't really do much in that room, so used tower fan to help push cooler air, which worked nicely for sleeping at night. Insulated curtains on all windows would help remedy that some. The master bedroom was beautiful and both mounted wall & ceiling fans worked great. Overall, unless not a fan of stairs, I would recommend this unit.

Absolutely filthy property at South Padre Island. Air vents were black upon arrival, it was obvious the vents had not been changed in months. The couch was covered in sand and the overall feel of the condo was filth. The rugs were stained and disgusting. The customer service or guest service team was quick to respond but it is clear they are robo messages and they do not actually handle any issues that arise. The connecting unit had a party that started at 7pm and the music was still blaring until past 5am and the management team did nothing to stop them. It was a horrible experience and I will not stay at a turnkey property again. The photos online are false advertising and the condo is nothing even close to what it shows, which is sad. We feel like we were totally robbed of this vacation. I do not advise anyone to use Turnkey.

The location was better than expected, property was very clean. Room for improvement but clean. Our only issue was there were no amenity passes in the condo as stated. We reported it upon arrival mainly so they knew they were missing. Initially received no reply so messages again the next morning with a quick reply. No resolution and a promise to be contacted by 6pm that day. Never received a follow up. We used the amenities with no issue but never had the passes. Messaged again the last night so they knew there would be no passes when we checked out. That was our only issue. Though it would be nice if the door lock passcode was a little shorter lol. We would definitely book the location again and would have no concerns over using TurnKey for another stay.

Condo was as pictured and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. My family enjoyed it and we would go back.

Again you refuse to answer my question: WHY PENALIZE THE RENTER FOR CANCELLING BUT NO PENALTY FOR OWNER? If this is not illegal, it is certainly unethical. You have one set of rules for renters (penalized for cancellation) and another set of rules for owners (no penalty for cancellation). Offering me a 10% off is useless since you cannot come up with any comparable properties. 10% of nothing is nothing. As the rental agent, it is your duty to provide a comparable property. Since you can’t (or won’t) do that, you must compensate me. It is the only fair & decent way to do business. After getting response from Turnkey, I would like to change my review to ZERO stars. They did not respond to my issue. If I had cancelled, I would pay a penalty. If the owner cancels, they should pay a penalty to compensate me. TurnKey did NOT find any suitable properties to replace the one they cancelled. There is nothing available for high season. That is why I booked a year in advance. After they cancelled and had no other comparable properties, I searched everywhere and finally found one that cost a lot more in a less desirable location. Do not book through Turnkey. They will penalize the renter for cancelling with no penalty for the owner. If not illegal, this is certainly unethical business practice. I booked a 2 week Florida vacation rental in March 2021 for March 2022 and paid my deposit. This week, I get a text that the rental has been cancelled, supposedly because the owner took it off their site. However, this property still shows on their website. They offered me a 10% discount on my next rental and of course, my deposit back (which I have yet to receive). That is unacceptable. There are no comparable properties available at this late date. Everything has been booked for months. They sent me a couple of completely unsuitable listings. The only comparable properties I have found are far from my location and cost thousands more. I booked this months ago. If I had cancelled, there would be a hefty penalty. I expect Turnkey to compensate me for this late cancellation since I will pay a lot more to get anything comparable. Please escalate this issue to your executive team for compensation.

This is by the far the absolute most in professional company I have dealt with is a long time. The staff that sheets the phone is literally trading from a script, you can ask Amy question you want, they just keep repeating the same answers. I have been trying to get a hold of a supervisor for over 9 DAYS and nothing. I have called at least 14 times, left messages for supervisors (throughout the yeah that answers the phone), sent messages via email as they suggested, waited for call backs and absolutely NOTHING. I have been trying to cancel my reservation for over 14 days and when we got into the 10 day period they started telling me that I can't cancel because I'm l less than 10 days from my reservation day. I have been trying to get a hold of you for all before then and YOUR COMMENT wasn't available!!!! Compete scam - beware

It was a fantastic stay! Clean, comfortable, and extremely scenic views. The area was extremely quiet and peaceful and served as a perfect hub for our San Juan Islands vacation!

Stay away with rentals under this company. Their policy is strict and willing to compromise tenant's safety and health. We made a reservation for a vacation house in South Lake Tahoe earlier and found out there is local wildfire, although the fire seems under control, but first there is no guarantee the fire won't be back, secondly, my family member has asthma, which air quality could be an issue. They still don't allow us to change date. We book it via Airbnb, and they make excuse its Airbnb's responsibility, which is not...bad risk handling, management and greedy.

Working with TurnKey was simple and easy. They were quick to respond if I had a question or concern. Everything went smoothly and perfectly.

Terrible organization to work with. They did not live up to the standards of the contract. No running hot water, no heat in the house and no gas to cook food. Not to mention the house was still dirty when we walked in. DO NOT BOOK with these people

The house was wonderful and provided just the right atmosphere that my family needed to celebrate my birthday and reconnect after being apart due to the pandemic. The neighborhood was nice and the people friendly. We were in close proximity to Bey Street and riverwalk. Would definitely stay here again.
