The host was amazing on tending to our needs. We loved the location and would come again!

Overall the house was in a perfect location to Venice beach and had everything you would need for a stay. It was very clean and had accessories for the beach as well as extra towels. The only thing that was difficult during our stay was the lack of AC which we did know about before staying there, we just didn’t think it would be so hot. The owners provided fans but it was still very hot during the day (while we were working) and at night. It would be best if the owners put in a few AC units. Also be aware of the parking situation as you have to be an excellent parallel parker to get your car in the spot. I would stay here again (when it is less hot).

Worst company for rentals! There are a bunch of rentals that got affected by the fires in California and they are not honoring any refund even when VRBO says the contrary. Do not rent from them. We are having our credit card contest the charges. And we will keep posting this reviews do they don’t keep deleting them

The house was nicely appointed for the most part. The beds were VERY comfortable with really high quality linens. The house was quiet and remote but easy enough to get into town for grocery shopping, wine tasting and meals out. My only real complaint is that the hot tub was not working and seeing as the lines to it appeared to be removed, it should be removed as an amenity. We had a planned power outage while there but the solar back up worked great and Turnkey was very communicative.

We had a very nice vacation and the cabin and the view were great. Really the view was more than we expected. The only thing we had trouble with was getting ahold of someone about trash, no big deal. Had a great time.

We thought the communication, instructions, and expectations were very clear and spelled out. Turnkey made it a breeze. It was a relief knowing everything was streamlined and, organized, and proactive to make our stay problem free. Very professional!

Do NOT rent a home from Turnkey! Air BNB should not allow them to “host”! We had signed up to run in the Lake Tahoe Triathlon in Aug 2021 with a large group of others. The the triathlon was cancelled due to wildfires and extremely unhealthy air quality/smoke, we were forced to cancel our Air BNB reservation (air quality was in the 600s). Turnkey is not willing to refund any of our payment, although every other racer was able to get refunded by their Air BNB hosts despite being past cancellation deadlines (the other hosts are real people, not a vacation rental company). Just don’t expect any kind of customer service or support— this corporation is simply out to get paid.

I rented a Turnkey rental property in South Lake Tahoe August 21-23. A wildfire was going on nearby and the fire blew in heavy smoke and Ash on the day of our arrival. I asked for an early check-in due to smoke and ash in the area and it was difficult to breath outside and Turnkey denied my request. I begged the customer service rep to check in early due to the severe health hazard and Turnkey denied me and my family.

From the Turnkey Website: "The vacation rental experience was unreliable. …. So we launched TurnKey Vacation Rentals with a mission to enhance the lives of vacation rental owners and travelers by offering a consistent and reliable vacation rental experience." We booked a very special holiday in Napa with Turnkey many months ago. We organized a car, vacation time, housesitters, and much more. This was to be a very special event. We paid 50% deposit on booking and they withdrew the balance from my account last week. Today, without warning or apology, Turnkey sent an email to say: "Thank you for your original booking with TurnKey Vacation Rentals. We are sorry your stay was canceled at .... Please keep TurnKey Vacation Rentals in mind for your future vacation rental home needs." On checking by phone Turnkey "explained" that the owner decided to withdraw the property from the rental market and that we should read the contract - that's their option. We are without a place to stay and a special event is in chaos at the last minute. Let me quote their website again: "we launched TurnKey ... with a mission to enhance the lives of vacation rental owners and travelers by offering a consistent and reliable vacation rental experience." This is anything but reliable! We have nowhere to stay and our plans are in tatters. Thanks Turnkey, you have added stress and destroyed what was to be a special, long-planned event.

Property I booked through Turnkey in Breckenridge, CO was beautiful. However, Turnkey Vacation Rentals is probably the worst property management company I've ever used. Anyone else is better than they are. FYI - they were recently bought out by Vacasa, so beware of that company as well. Worst customer service ever! 1. There is no 24/7 local assistance 2. There is no specific person that oversees your rental 3. There is one main switchboard to text - it is answered by bots 4. There are no human beings that you can ever communicate with to resolve anything 5. The people they employ to "man" the switchboard know nothing about any of the properties. All responses are full of pleasantries, but not a shred of legit information. 6. I requested information on baby equipment rental in Breckenridge. I was told there was no such service and I would have to go to Vail 45 minutes away or bring my own crib and high chair on the airplane. (Great advice!) FYI - there actually is a very reputable baby equipment rental company in Breckenridge. 7. They do not allow any grocery pre-stocking. All vacation rental companies that handle high end vacation rentals allow grocery prestocking. 8. They allow miscellaneous vendors to enter the homes unannounced during your stay. You may go into a part of the home and find a stranger standing there. 9. They never allow early check-in even though they claim that they will let you know if its available day of arrival. Nobody who has ever rented with them has gotten either early check in or late check out. They just make believe it's something they offer. 10. They are nothing more than a booking agency. They take your money and that's it. 11. Although the home we rented was beautiful, I would hesitate to ever rent it again because of the terrible service provided by Turnkey. 12. They will respond to this review with their usual brand of garbage apologies which mean nothing. They have no intention of fixing anything or repairing their reputation.

DO NOT USE TURNKEY FOR YOUR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY. I have rented many VRBO's and Airbnb rentals. Most all of the rentals have been great except when managed by Turnkey. With any rental issue, Turnkey will send endless emails or text for many days, without any substantial or honest efforts to address simple issues. I will not be renting an airbnb or VRBO if Turnkey is the property manager!

I thought it over and revised my review. I have to say that TK did actually do a good job in keeping the place rented, prompt in returning messages from the main office, and very good at refunding money for damages. I think it was the home management that was the issue. Was suppose to check the place and I don’t believe they did. We had to come up to find major issues like a dresser missing, pet urine stains throughout the house to name a few. When there was a guest complaint they called us and told us to call someone. For example told we needed to call an exterminator and another time a snow removal company. They weren’t available to let the service person in. When I told them to just handle it they charged us $130 to put down 3 mousetraps. Said because they had to expect the place first then go back. They were unavailable in an emergency situation when a guest couldn’t get in the place when the lock was stuck. They just drove all the way back home, Our neighbors called us and end up helping the guests and cleaned up garbage that was spilled over in the yard. Going with Evolve and a local management company and paying less. So good so far.

Turnkey was very helpful, pleasent and answered our questions very quickly. They wanted to make sure we had a comfortable stay.

Our vacation weekend was relaxing, stress-free, and perfect for family and friend time. The home was clean and refreshing with plenty of kitchen supplies (though I recommend dish rags to help clean counters). The beds were very comfortable for a sound night of sleep. Relaxing on the balcony or walking right into the beach made the weekend most enjoyable.

Very satisfied. Excellent communications and experience.

Currently I am on hold again after trying to resolve an issue for the last 24hours. We were notified before our vacation that the day before was available and we could add it for 50% off. Awesome. So I called and added the date. Fast forward and now they want us to leave a day early bc the person who adjusted the reservation kept it at a 7 night stay. Furious does not even cover the way I am feeling. Corporate has 24hrs to contact back although we have less than 2 hrs now until they have us scheduled to leave. Absolute horrific customer service. They need to offer both parties compensation to resolve this issue. We will never be using turnkey ever again.

The room shown while booking and room provided are not at all same or similar. the room was not clean with bed sheets, comforters with strains. especially with covid season, it looked very risky and after the complaints also, they did not care. they just throw the bed sheets at the door step and left not even talked. the furniture is in a trash shape. they charge hefty amounts and it is not worthy to rent these guys. The Turnkey rentals are pretty rude and unprofessional. please avoid them and look for different properties.

You do not need them unless they offer FULL SERVICE in your area (to include maintenance and cleaning). That is the ONLY scenario in which they might potentially provide value. If not, do it yourself. It's not hard and they make it SP DIFFICULT. Communication is awful, you cannot connect directly with anyone, DO NOT BELIEVE what the sales rep will tell you. They do not deliver on their promises and provide little to no value.
