TurnKey Vacation Rentals

This was by far our best beach vacation yet!! The property was beautiful…very tastefully decorated and updated to the nines!! In fact, I loved the master bedroom so much I used it as an inspiration for my own master at home. The rental process through TurnKey was amazing…no hassle, no fuss. Will definitely use them again in the years to come.

This is a wonderful home with all amenities and very tastefully done. The heated pool is definitely the best part - we didn’t have to wait for the water to warm up and could swim anytime. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms have everything you may need and best of all the house was sparkling clean. Turnkey was very easy to work with. All in all, an Amazing experience.

From beginning to end, this was a great experience. TurnKey communicated frequently prior to our stay to ensure we were prepared, and also to make sure the property was clean when we checked in. Very enjoyable stay!

We stayed in a turnkey property in Santa Fe, NM. The entire booking to arrival was seamless with great communication. One minor problem at the property was also promptly resolved with high marks for responsiveness!

Excellent to work with. I don't have to worry about anything. Support, cleaning, and communications are top-notch. I will continue doing business with TurnKey.

This is the worse company ever. I would never deal with them again. Absolutely no customers service what so ever. Everything that could have been wrong was wrong from entering the property to cable tv, light bulbs out toilet ruin g we had to fix ourselves, no laundry keys, and no help what so ever. Said the property had a fully equipped kitchen which was a joke. Tablet had the wrong information for the place. We were in Hawaii and had San Diego property on the information. Just unbelievable for the cost. But we had no choice it was a work trip to clean up a property due to a death in the family. Oh and no hot water all day one day after working all day was not pleasant. No one ever came to check and we called early in the morning. Finally the next afternoon we were surprised we had hot water. Had to put the coffee pot and toaster on the cook Toto plug it in one at a time because there was only one plug outlet and fridge was plugged into the other one. Would never recommend anyone use this company. They should be out of business.

Worst customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with. If a house uses turnkey, cancel. They canceled on us a week before a planned trip, and they wouldn’t refund us. Run away if they use turnkey

DO NOT use Turnkey. They set us up with a house in Hawaii. We could not get into the unit because the keycode was incorrect and the people at turnkey left us waiting in the parkinglot for four hours. When we finally got in, the air conditioner was broken so it was over 100°. DRIPPING SWEAT. The shower curtain was broken in one of the showers, the other shower curtain wasn’t installed correctly so an eight-year-old girl was watching me shower. We left immediately after that and got a hotel. So after Staying at This unit for a total of grand total 3 hours, we still have not been fully refunded. For some reason Margaret at their Corporate Resolutions Team thinks it’s ok to charge me over $600 for being inconvenienced during a 3-4 hour sweat fest. So They will only refund us a portion of the money and every time I try to contact them I have to speak to a different person and start all over again. Most unprofessional service I’ve ever dealt with in my tire life. My lawyers and the Better Business Bureau have been contacted. Still waiting.

Poor customer service! We booked months in advance and 1 day prior to our arrival of 16 people driving 14 hours they called and canceled our reservation after just sending us a welcome text with instructions 3 days prior to that. They was unwilling to find another property and then hung up on me after discussing the situation. Lady was rude and thought just shouting “we’re sorry for any inconvenience” multiple times was gonna solve anything. Will never look at their property’s again.

The condo was perfect. The location was steps from the beach. Everything was clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again

We chose Turnkey as our property management company. They were awful. The house was rarely clean enough; guests complained. They wouldn’t do regular inspections nor inform us when furniture was broken, a wall cracked, a rug missing, the carpet ruined, etc. They have a terrible ratio of homes to field operations personnel. They would promise to do something, but they would not follow through. Communication was extremely difficult. It took them months to hire someone to fix the refrigerator, etc. We switched to another company.

As someone who works in the travel industry and specifically with vacation rentals, I am truly appalled at the way that Turnkey has handled themselves as a company and as human beings in the past year and a half. Like most of the rest of the world, 2020 altered our travels plans, which were to go skiing in the end of March last year. We spent $2000+ on a pet friendly home and when our reservation was cancelled, we were told that we had credits to rebook the same home before December 2021 (getting the credits themselves was quite the ordeal and took 5 phone calls to accomplish but I digress...). While it's certainly not ideal to go to a ski-in-ski-out home in November 2021 when there isn't any snow on the mountain, we figured we'd still go and enjoy ourselves because the alternative is throwing $2000 down the drain. When we went online to look at the dates available, we saw that the home has decided to change their policy and no longer accept pets. We contacted Turnkey to see what can be done and after 40 minutes on the phone, I can honestly say we've gotten nowhere. We went around and around in circles with the customer service reps who just continue repeating the same phrase they must have been told to say: "We do apologize for your frustration." I get it, I've worked in customer service and work in the travel industry so I understand how challenging it is to deal with company policies during a global pandemic. I'm not asking for a refund or even an extension of our credit (because at this point that's like asking for the moon it seems!). All I want to know is what Turnkey plans to do to honor our previous contract where we paid a pet fee at a pet friendly accommodation that has decided to change their policy post-booking. Turnkey has been absolutely useless and just keeps repeating that they have to honor their "future stay credit" policy, with no indication that they've heard anything that I've said to them on the phone for the past 40 minutes. I didn't intend for this review to be so long but I hope it helps a future traveler by preventing them from booking with Turnkey like I did. $2000 held up by Turnkey for almost 2 years and no trip able to happen because they're able to change their policies whenever they want- what a great customer experience!! I've tried escalating this situation to a supervisor but everyone on the phone claims they are the supervisor. Beware! If you're looking for a great vacation rental experience, plan to book with any other reputable company!

A word of caution. The photos used to show this property are likely when it was new. There are few words in the English language to describe the frustration and anger this rental caused me for what was supposed to be a stress-free vacation experience with my family. Wishful thinking. We arrived after a 10 hour drive to our dream "TurnKey Premier Host vacation rental who consistently provide great experiences for their guests". Well, nightmares are dreams too I guess. I went to the unit, leaving my family in the car, since we did arrive 20 minutes before our 4pm check-in and found the door to the unit open. Not just unlocked or slightly ajar, WIDE OPEN. Nothing appeared out of place. Except when I pulled the door closed, it wouldn't shut. Not only would it not shut, it wouldn't lock or secure in any fashion of the word. I called TurnKey and phone rep gave excuses why it was open then said, "Sir, your check-in isn't until 4pm." It was 3:50pm, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! After speaking with this rep, I was told someone else would be contacting me. That happened 15 mins and was told someone would be to the unit "shortly" to correct the issue which never appeared. At 6pm, I called back to speak with a completely new set of reps who stated they had no complaint from me. Rinse/Repeat with a new set of reps who were again less than helpful. (Insert rage) I had my family go to a friend's unit until ours was resolved. I wasn't unloading anything to our unit until I had a securing door. I happen to find a housekeeper who told me to call the timeshare office or the emergency contact number next to the elevators. HA! The timeshare office closed at 6pm and after calling the emergency number Rinse/Repeat complaint, no one called me back from their either. 9:30pm, locksmith showed up and spent an hour repairing the door. Exhausted-everyone to bed. The next morning I was appalled. Cleanliness was GROSS! Floors grimy, black and pink mold in shower, ceiling fans covered in dust/lint, urine splatter and BLOOD on bathroom wall! Another call into TurnKey where cleaner arrived at 5pm to spend 2 hours shamefully cleaning. Spent $2200 for a week long rental to waste 2 days getting it in livable condition. Not the relaxing vacation I anticipated. I will not be returning.

We had a great experience with TurnKey vacation rentals. I would use them again. We had a seamless experience.

Wonderful stay. Reasonable price. Minor issues with WiFi. Would consider getting a ductless air conditioner in the living room.

Great stay. Very very close to the beach ⛱. Super clean. Family had a great time. Outdoor shower to rinse off the sand was a plus.

great customer service, always have someone live to speak to 24/7, send someone to resolved issues/problems with the property within hours.

The home was clean and quaint. Everything you expect from a cabin. The kids loved the video games downstairs and even some of the adults couldn't get enough of them. It was a great experience.

My daughter and I decided to plan a last minute weekend escape before she went back to college. We found an amazing little place near the beach for a great price. Everything from the moment we booked until we checked out was fantastic. They even checked on us after we arrived just to ensure things were in order at the rental property. We were also given a number to reach out if we encountered any issues during our stay. This was my first experience with TurnKey, but I would not hesitate to use them again for any future vacation stays.

There were some things we both liked & disliked about our experience. In general, the unit was very clean & we were able to get in upon our arrival very timely. These would be two of the most important qualities to any experience for us. A, not so distant, 3rd important quality for us would be the functionality of the WiFi. The WiFi in this unit was horrendous- putting it mildly. Other noteworthy issues were the fact that the washer didn’t seem to work dependably and there was very limited cookware in this unit. All in all, it wasn’t bad & we realize it could have been worse.
