Canceled flight, easy rebooking

Booked a flight, a few days later it got canceled. I got a new flight the next day, no problem at all. Also got the option of getting my money back. Very good service!

Avoid avoid avoid!!

Do not fly Singapore unless you absolutely have to!!!! We have been stuck in an endless issue with them about our flights due to Covid issues. Customer service has been none existent and eventually we moved them to next year only for Singapore to “cancel” them. When we called to find out why they are cancelled, when there is clearly still a flight listed, it turns out they aren’t really cancelled they are just holding our money in credit and if we want the flight we have to pay over £300 more as they are “taking a risk” putting the flight on!! They then tried to charge us for cancelling as we couldn’t afford the extra money. Eventually they agreed to cancel and said they would email confirmation within 5 days but that it could take 6 weeks to get the refund. Over a week later, no email and now you can’t call them you have to fill in a refund form.. surely this is bordering on fraud and deception?! Appalling customer service and a disgraceful approach by an airline that was once one of the best out there. Never ever again will I fly with them.

Singapore airlines covid-19

We e booked our flight chennai to Seattle directly from Singapore airlines . We booked our ticket in September 24 th (when it opened for March travel). Our date of travel was March 21st. This trip is planned for our daughters first delivery . Around March 10th we were panicked by the world news of Covid and flights are going to be cancelled . So we preponed our travel to 14 th and paid a hefty price for that . Our return date from US was 12 . Around aug 15 th we called the airlines they advised us to extend the date or take refund . So we opted for refund .first they mailed us they will give refund of the unused portion of our ticket . So when we applied for the refund they will pay only the half of the money. When we didn’t agree their reply was TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. Such a bad behaviour we didn’t expect from Singapore airlines . We had no other choice . They are taking advantage of this situation and grabbing money . We will never forget this experience.

Singapore Airlines NEVER AGAIN

Singapore Airlines verschob 6 Tage vor Abflug meinen Flug vom 16.3.2020 auf den 17.3.2020. Am 16.3.2020 haben sie den Flug für den 17.3.2020 ersatzlos gestrichen. Keine Unterkunft, kein Support, keinerlei Hilfe und: Geld wird einfach einbehalten. Keine Rückerstattung bis zum 18.09.2020 erhalten. Mehrfach E-Mails hin und hergeschrieben. Geld versprochen, IBAN mehrfach abgefragt. Aber bis heute gab es NICHTS. Ich werde nie wieder diese Airline buchen und rate jedem davon dringend ab! Für mich richtige Verbrecher, keine Leistung, Geld behalten. NEVER AGAIN SINGAPORE AIRLINES

Avoid booking with Singapore Airlines

Over 3 months waiting for a refund. Had to cancel many flights due to COVID-19 from Shanghai to Singapore, but Singapore Airlines seems to not care at all. On my future trips to Asia I will be avoiding this joke of a company and I’d advise anyone else to do the same!

Flug storniert - Geld weg

Singapore Airlines storniert Flüge nach Australien und behält einfach den bezahlten Ticketpreis. Als Kunde muss man sich juristisch mit einer ausländischen Fluggesellschaft herumschlagen. Erreichbarkeit per Email: Fehlanzeige. Bekommt man einen Mitarbeiter ans Telefon, weiß der von nichts.

One of the easiest refunds during COVID 19

Customer service was very knowledgeable about the whole refund process. Instructions were clear (they refunded month by month). I received my refund for an end June flight in July. Customer service is also patient and understanding. Some airlines could learn from them.

They have been incredibly unhelpful…

They have been incredibly unhelpful with our flights to Australia. They knocked us off our flights twice and still can't allow for us to get a refund from our travel agent who needs confirmation from them. Absolutely disgraceful business in these challenging times. They also still overbook in the months where they know exactly what the caps are in each Australian state.

Cancellation fee takes most of the cost of the ticket

I had to cancel a flight from the UK to Singapore (return) with Singapore Airlines, as the government their were placing a two week quarantine period on visitors to the island at this time, and we were only planning to stay a few days. The Airline charged a £950 cancellation fee for a flight that cost £1,203. This was a complete outlier as most of the other people we dealt with paid full refunds, or gave vouchers for further travel. If you book anything with this company, watch out for their punishing refund policy, even if it is not your fault.

Excellent Customer Service

Unfortunately we had to cancel our flights to Melbourne in October 2020 due to the numerous Covid-19 restrictions in place in Australia. We received a full refund for all our tickets under Singapore Airlines Covid-19 Travel Waiver policy. The refund was paid promptly and without any fuss. We will certainly be re-booking with Singapore Airlines when things get back to normal.

Brilliant service

Brilliant service. Flights cancelled, easy refund request made Sunday, confirmation Monday, full refund Thursday. This was 5 tickets UK return. Couldn't ask for better service.

Our fights were cancelled

Our fights were cancelled, but luckely enough we bookede the fights directly with Singapore Airlines. Within a week from the cancellation, we had the full amount refunded to our bankaccount. Fantastic service in the middel of the corona crises. Thank you🙏

Terrible customer service and…

Terrible customer service and transparency. Booked a flight with them which was cancelled due to Covid. Decided to rebook it, and not only they didn't offer my original destination anymore (understandable in the current situation), but they asked me to pay for an extra fare to go to a different place (which amounted to basically double the original price). They didn't even cover the cost (or provided assitance) that I had to do myself to then book the final part of my flight to reach my original destination. So I ended up payng double the price of my original reservation, to take a flight to a different country from where I wanted to go, and having to arrange and pay for the final connecting flight myself.

Super Kundenservice, blitzschnelle Erstattung

Wir hatten Ende letzen Jahres für September Flüge nach Bali gebucht und diese jetzt wegen der Corona-Situation storniert und dabei die von Singapore Airlines freiwillig angebotene global travel waiver policy genutzt. Nach einem sehr einfachen Online-Antrag waren wir wegen schlechter Erfahrungen mit anderen Airlines skeptisch wegen einer zeitnahen Erstattung. Zu unserer sehr großen positiven Überraschung war das Geld bereits nach 2 Tagen auf unserem Konto! Super Service, vielen Dank! 😊👍

Prompt Refund

Our flights to Singapore and Perth in October were cancelled on 11th August. I requested a refund that day and was advised this could take 4-6 weeks, however, the money was in my account on 14th August. Fully refunded, no cancellation fees. If this airline can be so efficient why can’t the others? Superb service, very impressed.
