We e booked our flight chennai to Seattle directly from Singapore airlines . We booked our ticket in September 24 th (when it opened for March travel). Our date of travel was March 21st. This trip is planned for our daughters first delivery . Around March 10th we were panicked by the world news of Covid and flights are going to be cancelled . So we preponed our travel to 14 th and paid a hefty price for that . Our return date from US was 12 . Around aug 15 th we called the airlines they advised us to extend the date or take refund . So we opted for refund .first they mailed us they will give refund of the unused portion of our ticket . So when we applied for the refund they will pay only the half of the money. When we didn’t agree their reply was TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. Such a bad behaviour we didn’t expect from Singapore airlines . We had no other choice . They are taking advantage of this situation and grabbing money . We will never forget this experience.
