Very Very bad experience.

Very Very bad experience. Very bad customer services. The company is also abusing the customers regarding the insurance policy. Most of the credit card have insurance included for a booking but they force the customers to pay an insurance. Read the detailed rental policy before booking

The only reason this is getting one…

UPDATE: so Routes has commented below that I should just contact them to resolve this however I've done so multiple time as well as dealing with Expedia. Routes says call Expedia so Expedia contacts routes to approve a refund for the car that I rented and paid for on Aug 10th that routes was unable to supply due to having no cars available when I tried to pick mine up. The reply from Routes was: Dear Customer,​ After reviewing your request, our concern team confirmed that there is no refund for unused days. As per our policy, prepaid reservations are non-refundable.a Thanks & Regards, Cristiano R CTI0190 Customer Care Specialist |Routes Car Rentals These UNUSED days they are speaking of is the first day of my 10 car rental. the day they didn't have a car "that I already paid for" so I had to pay $90 in Ubers to get to my hotel that day and an Uber back the next morning when there was a car available. Why would anyone ever pay for an Uber when they are paying for a rental they're unable to supply the customer. I even called back later in the afternoon at almost 4pm and was informed still no cars call back at 7am. I have the screenshots to prove the phone calls yet I feel like I am still being told basically that I'm lying and chose to not pick up the car that day after a 5 hour flight and waiting 40 minutes for their shuttle that never came. However when I called as soon as I got to the shuttle pick up stop they never informed me there were no vehicles. I guess they were just planning to let us sit there all day? So begins my story of paying for an Uber. Twice.. The only reason this is getting one start is because it's the only way it will let me save the review. Flew into Calgary Aug 10th and attempted to pick up my rental car from 10th to 20th to be told there are no vehicles available for me and to call back the next morning at 7am.....for the car I rented and already paid for when I booked it. I asked for a refund for the first day since they weren't able to provide me with a car and they denied the refund stating "there is no refund for unused days".....the day THEY couldn't provide me with a car I already paid for. What a joke! I had to pay for an Uber to and from hotel and back the next morning. So $90 in Ubers and a day of rental for a car that they couldn't supply me. lol! Wow great service. Don't even try to speak to a human to try and resolve this because it won't happen and a complete run around. You have no voice and they have all the power to keep your money for something they couldn't supply you. Criminal really

Unprofessional and Filthy

We had to wait 45 minutes for the shuttle; it took an hour to process the paper work and secure the car; car was filthy. a terrible experience. I am surprised Orbitz would represent such an unprofessional car rental company

DONT BOTHER, terrible experience and others have had the same

We paid in full for our hire car only to find out after 24 hours of flying that it had ZERO insurance. It cost us more than the original car hire to get insurance and Europcar said this company had only been hiring through them for three weeks and other customers had the same thing done to them. Absolute scam, don’t bother. Use Europcar direct, never had an issue with them. *** Update*** I have emailed and have had no response to my request to refund the $1400 EXTRA we had to pay for insurance. There was no confusion. You sold a rental car hire without insurance knowing full well that people would have a huge amount to pay, in our case, more than double the original hire fee. ** update** This company is doing this deliberately and refusing to refund the $1400 that we had to pay after we paid in full online. I’ve reported them to ACCC. This is absolutely deceptive conduct.

I entered into this car rental very worried after many bad reviews.

I entered into this car rental very nervous and concerned after reviewing the many negative reviews. I am pleasantly surprised the service overall was very good. All went smooth with the shuttle picking us up at ATL airport then at the car rental office. A gentlemen by the name of Brandon was very helpful and professional. The complete process took no longer than 15-20 min! Amazing! Best experience i have had with any rental! Thank you Brandon for your help .

I rented a car from routes in schiller…

I rented a car from routes in schiller park,IL and elected for the I-PASS which was 11.95 per day thought that was steep but why not. on my receipt I noticed a border charge which is included with the I-pass. that's double charging, that's wrong and I should get that money back. Other than that I'm very happy with routes.

Quick friendly professional

Quick friendly professional. They provided upgrades without our asking nor adding more money to the original fee. Car was clean and smelled new. Easy check in and check out. Staff at counter very friendly accommodating and professional.

I booked an SUV through Rentalcars.com…

I booked an SUV through Rentalcars.com and on my arrival at Routes Car Rental in Denver Co, on 8/10, I presented the agent with my rental agreement, she informed that they don't have SUV but only a Jeep, I informed her that my wife had major knee surgery, and it be difficult to climb into a Jeep she was not sympathetic and she went ahead to offer me to buy a toll pass. I agreed but I asked her how it works and what the charges, she said I don't know and when I questioned further her in regard of selling a product that she did know not anything about, then she asked another agent who explained to me It was one-time flat administrate fee of$ 12 to which I agreed and signed the contract. Sensing that the second agent has more knowledge, I explained to him my wife's medical limitations, and to my great surprise he canceled the Jeep contract and gave me an SUV Ford which was there all the time. I informed him that I was driving and staying in Winter Park CO, and he told me that I would not go through the tollway road but to keep the pass in case driving through express lanes, and again it is a one-time flat fee and I accepted. On 8/17 I returned the car and I was told that I have to wait since one of their shuttle vans is down. I asked for a copy of the final invoice, and she said, it was sent as an email and I insisted on a printed copy, she told me that she did not know how to do it. She called another agent whom she did it and on reviewing the invoice, I noticed that the toll pass was daily charge not one time and trying to get an explanation, she rudely said you signed it. The drive arrived almost twenty minutes late and we almost missed out flight. Finally, the staff are ill-informed, rude and clueless. I will never use this company again even though their prices were reasonable.
