Routes Car Rental

This is the worst’s car rental company i have ever dealt with, they are rude, thief’s, and most of all liars: The fare they quoted me is totally wrong, supposed to be unlimited mileage but charged me 12$ a day to leave the state, even though i rented the car for 10 days, and on top of that i had to show the F. clerk at the renting office my incoming and out going air tickets, the guy was worse the the immigration officer at the airport, i felt like i am borrowing my grand-mom classic car! not renting one. also the car i got was not even close to the one i supposedly booked, the information they gave me to get from airport terminal to pickup the car was all wrong. Bottom line I will pay double at any legged rental company than renting from such a Routes, never ever again

Very Bad experience, bad customer service, not recommended, scam, I didn’t get nor didn’t get my refund. Never book with this company they trap people.

Customer service with Brandon was great! He got my in and out quick! Only giving 4 because wasn’t clear when booked that had to take shuttle and was offsite. Otherwise clean and quick!

The line was long but once it was my turn Brandon was very helpful and exceedingly professional — no issues with getting the car, he documented the existing damage and pointed it out to me, got the car with full tank (which is easier to return!) and car return was seamless, no additional charges or any issues, very fast. Great value if you’ve got the extra time to get off airport and don’t mind waiting in line a bit.

Took over an hour to get picked up from the airport. Got to routes and it took another hour to get a car as they were short cars for some reason. There were about 15 people waiting for cars and we were number 14. dropped off the car after 5 days and it took another 45 minutes to get to the airport. The worst thing was the tolls in Denver. We did not take the toll payment at routes so we said we would pay the tolls at the end. We just got the bill from routes and they charged us a $50 administration fee as the three tolls were only $9:25 so total bill was $59:25.

I never used the service as the line was entirely too long. I have tried to call multiple times and left a voicemail but the manager never called me back. The website doesn’t work either to process any refunds. It’s been over 2 months and I haven’t gotten a call back.

We booked a month ahead of time, we arrived at the airport port and waited for the shuttle, 10 minutes do by nothing, we called and requested. They said 15 minutes will be there, shuttle arrived 48 minutes later. When arrived at the counter so many questions compare to any other car rental and driving license and major credit card not enough, they ask for passport as well, I got lucky I did have all that but other people where stranded. And they hold 500$ deposit for two weeks lol they don't tell you that ahead of time. You will find that after when you see your statement. After all this, walked to the car did all video and when opn inside gas not full ,vehicle is dirty from previous use. And they offer a quick clean if you have time...what a joke. I spent 2hrs already and who knows how much more to clean the car??? I took a dirty vehicle with whatever gas was left . After returning the vehicle again the shuttle they said 5 minutes and 15 minutes latter just pulled out from right there parkinglot....terrible service and policies. I will never go back there and do not recommend.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The staff is absolutely horrible, and unhelpful. They force you to buy things last minute after you have reached their location. There's nothing around this place and it's not like you have another option for car rental when you have reached this place. Beware of the staff, they have one airpod in the ear, calmly listening to their music as you try to get your work done and rent a car. They will pretend like they are "listening" to you and after you talk a few times (thinking why aren't they responding properly) they will be forced to take off their one headphone to actually give you some attention. I was supposed to rent an suv from this location and had a 6 hrs drive in remote area of Colorado. Upon arrival and after getting through 15-20 min of back and forth of forcing extra insurance on the car I was told I will get a car with cracked windshield. I told them I have insurance coverage with my credit card and this is not My first time renting a car. They gave me no option and told me if I wanted the car, I had to get the liabiltity insurance (later I called the cc company to find out the liability was covered under the insurance and they fooled me- I have a case filed with the cc company with this as well). I even requested to speak to the manager, and after discussing my case in the back area, Mr Mustafa Mahmoud- who introduced himself as the manager told me he had a similar cc and they don't cover that insurance. He wouldn't even listen to the case and had made up his mind on what to say. Shame of a service. Finally I was told to take it or leave it but the only option was the cracked windshield car. Everything else .. even a car in the same category (another suv) was going to be an extra charge - try making sense of that. Also airport shuttle transit service is absolutely Joke. They have 1 shuttle. They lie to their customers to tell them they have 3.. customers wait long time at the airport as well as this location to be dropped back at the airport. If you question them the staff becomes rude. This is the state of customer care these days. Save yourself the headache and rent at any other reputable location.

This was my first time booking with routes so I was a little confused on pickup. Luckily, Preston saved the day! I was in a rush to get to an event that night and he helped me speedily. His customer service was toptier because I know we had a slight language barrier but he understood me clearly.

It took me awhile to get all my information together but Brandon (Young) was very patient and kind. If you rent from here I recommend to get him to help you out. As ling as he's around I will continue to use Routes for rentals. His customer service skills are off the chart!
