Brandon Young is absolutely amazing. The process was efficient and I was driving off the lot in 15 minutes.

Se merece CERO ESTRELLAS. Nunca habiamos tenido problemas con otras agencias de renta de vehículos como Hertz. Dijeron que la llanta tenia "algo". No estaba desinflada ni rota. No nos quisieron mostrar las fotos que toman al momento de entregar el carro para demostrar el supuesto daño que tenia la llanta al momento de devolverlo. Además, por dicha daño cobraron lo que equivale a 200USD, una total estafa. Con eso les alcanza para cambiar hasta 3 llantas. Aparte de cobrar eso, cobraron el deposito que uno deja. En total el chiste salió casi como en 400USD. Vimos en la tarjeta qué aparte salieron duplicados los cobros.

I rented a car with Routes. My flight got cancel and I already had pay for the car reservation, I call them and explain what happened with my flight and they told me I was going to get a refund because my flight got cancel. So I call again to see how everything is going with the refund and now they told me they're not going to give my money back. Really disappointed because they lied to me. Really bad experience I would never rent with them again

The worst experience I've ever had with a car rental. STAY AWAY!! Routes Car Rental will take your credit card info and charge you throughout the rental, without letting you know. Customer service at the counter is terrible and if you try to call expect to stay on hold for at least 20 minutes. They changed the terms of my agreement randomly and didn't honor the terms I originally booked my car with. I purposely rented a car with unlimited mileage but during the trip I got an email stating I would be charged for .20 for each mile over 200 a day. They were out of cars when I arrived and gave me jeep to drive for 5 days across the state. I have back and knee issues and a jeep is a bumpy ride especially on freeways at 65mph. I was charged an extra $200 for leaving the state and was told I should have gotten permission to drive from Illinois to Indiana. I also had to go to Wisconsin and tried over 2 days to call and ask permission but was told multiple different answers, one agent said I'll be charged again and the second agent said no it was a one time charge. I had to cancel my credit card to prevent them from charging it again. For the next 3 days they attempted to charge my card. Stick with the big agencies- Alamo, Hertz, Budget, AVIS. I rented dozens of times from them and never been charged for crossing state lines or driving too many miles.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! They are thieves. Cars are broken and dirty. They force you into buying very expensive insurance that is worth more than the horrible car. Absolute horrible experience. Worse, my friend didn't even take the car, but they charged his credit card anyway. Stay away from these a***oles!

Absolutely disgusting experience. They demanded two pieces of ID along with my driver's license that had my address also. Even enterprise does not do this. Why would I carry my electric bill or banks statements with me? Also, they did not require the same for the white woman beside me at the counter. Also, you could not extend your rentals online. When I got there in person to extend it; they said no because they were all sold out, even though it was almost closing time and there were plenty of cars left. Also, hearing other people's conversations, they give you whatever car they feel like and not the car you reserved. Also, they require a $1500 deposit. For the invoice, they don't even give you a proper breakdown of the money. I felt racism had a lot to do with my experience. Also, ALL the workers seem to be all East Indians; so it seems they only like to hire their own people. Absolutely disgusting!

Disappointed! Had quite a long wait even though I had pre-checked in with Europcar. Then I received a post rental bill for $41.05 for toll charges. Those charges were $12 for the toll and the rest admin fee? This is disappointing. They referred me to the rental agreement which they had me sign in a hurry and subsequently disappears from the email account. Will never use this company again! Update: Told me to contact them and they have upheld the charges so never using them again. Admin charges double the toll charge

Recently rented a car in Toronto airport area. The pickup was easy and the staff were very helpful. We had the rental for one week. The drop off was easy as well. Will definitely use them again

Great company to deal with - Toronto airport location staff are the greatest - welcoming, honest, full of integrity and great cars. This will always be my no brainer when visting YYZ

Very long wait. Many angry customers ahead of us. They gave us our keys and explained nothing. Said our contract would be sent to our email. It never arrived. When we returned the car, they said our receipt would be emailed. Again, it never arrived. I called to ask why the extra $183 charge. Was told because I drove into another province when I went to Lake Louise, and the GPS showed that. so, be prepared for lots of extra chargers when renting from them. Never again! Very dishonest!

- Would not allow me to get extra insurance stating I was a BC resident and I am not eligible which I know is not true as I have rented vehicles many times before without issue. Pretty sure they never re-funded me for the extra insurance - They did not do a proper walk around with me when leaving so I took my own pictures, when I returned it they tried to tell me a scratch was not there before. The pictures that I had taken showed it was there before. - Customer service was horrible. - Never rent from again

Scam company BE CAREFUL!!!! They offer ridiculously low rental rate then charge you double the amount quoted for insurance. All information provided to me was incorrect including the “vacuum” out the sand info…. Ended up having to turn the card off to keep them from charging hundreds extra.
