Fast service. I have used routes several times, and they have had excellent service.
Routes Car Rental has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.

Worst customer service ever! Was not greeted with a hello or anything- handed a post it note with a number on it and was told to 'sit over there and wait'. I said I have a reservation and she said no cars were available and to sit and wait. Very rude, no explanation of why my reserved car was not available. So after waiting a solid 45 minutes, we were called to the counter and told our Jeep is ready, but has a crack and a chip in the wind shield. I resisted getting the Jeep and asked for one without a cracked wind shield. Was told if I wanted one without a cracked wind shield I would have to wait longer. But don't worry, in Colorado, they don't pull you over for that.... Seriously. My husband was very frustrated at this point and said let's just get it and get out of this dump. There were three ladies working and one was ruder than the next. Never again.

Don’t get close! I arrived with a prepaid voucher. They didn’t accept it and forced me to buy an extra insurance. More than that they charged me for out of province for the whole rental instead of 1 day (they have a tracking device - on the last day apparently I crossed the Alberta line). Finally - I brought the car 1 day earlier and they charged for an early return without any notice! I found it on the invoice they sent later via mail! I rent cars a lot - this is the worst experience I ever had! After their reply I sent several mails - no change.. Don't get close..
Just not worth the trouble. Employees are very rude. The shuttle takes 1 hour to get you not the 30 min it says. Just don't use.

Rented from the Toronto airport location. Shuttle arrived within 5 mins to take us to the rental office. Though check in took a little long (they were very busy between 2 and 3pm on a weekday), staff were extremely friendly and the car was in excellent condition. By far the cheapest rates and will certainly will be renting from them again
I had a very good experience with Routes in Chicago so had no qualms about renting from this company in Houston. (1} Routes in Houston is not in the car rental center. It is in the middle of a huge parking lot somewhere. Who knows where? (2) Routes in Houston has a tiny building with three rooms, each with a monitor. You speak to a customer service agent on that monitor. (3) This person was very polite, so no complaints on that score. (4) We were asked if we wanted to pay $75 to avoid paying fines for unpaid tolls for 3 days. Really? That's a hunk. (5) Our car insurance that has always been adequate elsewhere isn't satisfactory for Routes. We were asked to pay $300 for insurance, $200 to be returned if we didn't have a car accident. So, that means that we would be out $175 above the 3 days car rental. I cancelled our rental. (6) We were left in the middle of this huge parking lot, not knowing where we were, no return vehicle in sight in half an hour and having to get ourselves to the car rental facility near IAH. We had to pay for an Uber and wait another half an hour, along with another couple who refused the rental for similar reasons. (7) We have not been reimbursed for the car rental. How would you rate our satisfaction with this experience?
One of the worst experiences ever. I did not even get the rental because I changed my mind and still got charged. They promised to honor the fact they made a mistake and still im fighting with customer service to get my refund.

The location was a little hard to find but Brandon made the experience better. He was very helpful and friendly. He helped navigate us to the rental center and checked us in quickly. Would highly recommend him.
Did not find reservation after giving full details, even after getting confirmation system did not update for 20 min
