I love regain and my therapist ! She’s helped my partner and I drastically in such a short amount of time. the best and cheapest therapy I’ve received.

ReGain has given us the direction we need to get our marriage back on track. The app was very easy to use and we were matched with a great therapist right away!

Terrible service, we're half way through our first month of membership, our therapist never showed up to the sessions, didn't answer on the chat. We tried to contact support a week ago to get a refund for our missed sessions and never got a reply. We're still trying to get a refund. This is definitely a scam, don't waste your money

Times don't suit irish customers and now they refuse to give me my money back.

you pay a fee for monthly access then another fee just to be matched. When you are matched and due your session, the site goes down. then when comes up again it says session in progress but no therapist there. no response from therapist or regain. all money taken upfront also. then when you try and cancel membership...site goes down again. really poor service. they're messing with people in a vulnerable stage of life. takes a really messed up org to do that.

I’ve cancelled within 30 minutes and wish I read trustpilot before signing up in the first place, as I’m now super anxious about getting my money back. As I’m in the UK and they work in PST, I may need to wait a gruelling 8 hours+ before I hear anymore about my request for a refund. But given I cancelled within 30 minutes and have not been matched, I don’t see why I cannot get a refund and hope they process this quickly. Otherwise it’s £240 lost during a cost of living crisis for nothing received. To be honest I didn’t realise they were actually going to charge me the £240 right away. I thought it was more of a hold once you were matched with a therapist. I feel so stupid for going through the misleading registration process. I changed my mind as it only became clear to me once on the site (the bits you can only see after they take your money!) that all therapists are in the US. Given we are in the UK, we would prefer a therapist over here for cultural reasons. I also didn’t really like that I had to pay £240 upfront and this idea that I’m reading from other reviews that this is a membership fee with an ‘optional’ therapy session is just a blatant misleading sales pitch designed to steal vulnerable people’s money. Please just refund me and let me go on my way. Update: 6 December 2022 After waiting nearly 36 hours, Regain finally replied to me. I provided the additional information they wanted to TrustPilot, but was not looking forward to waiting even longer for a further reply. I do not want to continue with this service and want a full refund since I have not taken up any services. They followed up to their reply on TrustPilot directly to me on email which was appreciated, and confirmed they have issued a full refund - which I have yet to receive but may take a few days. Although it was a stressful 36 hours, I appreciate not having to argue with them for a refund. Update 7 December 2022: Refund received with thanks.

The transaction took place on the 30th of November at 12:54am. It was a total of $288. I reached out within three hours of the transaction for a refund. Because inly then was i given access to the website. I have contacted the business multipe times via email and attempting to call their number thats displayed. I've made it very clear to them BEFORE assigning me to a therapist and any real work commences other than me creating an account and paying the fee. I would like a full refund. Yet, they persisted to assign me to a therapist. I made it clear to the therapist about the situation of me seeking a refund and for me to not be wasting her time. THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT NOT RESPOND

Firstly it’s clear they only post the positive reviews as the review I wrote on the counselor is no where to be seen. Secondly they are advertising that you are signing up for counseling - their entire dashboard is set up for such- then when your therapist is unprofessional and you request a change and refund for the first month that you paid for absolutely nothing - no sessions , no help - they state you are “subscribing to other things “etc etc and not counseling . I didn’t sign up for webinars! I signed up for counseling, what justification do they have to keep 250$+ for zero services received.

PRO/S: 1. We found a lovely therapist that fits us and is helping us see each other and work to adjust! 2. Billing is pretty straightforward- they tell you how much and when it comes out (monthly) 3. It seems they have quite a few therapists to choose from but we have only seen two so far and I'd say one is exceptional and the other was adequate. CON/S: 1. [Platform Issue] Getting two people connected to one therapist (total 3 people) all in three different locations is like finding a unicorn that poops hundred dollar bills! Just forget about it! I have been working with them for 3 weeks now to get this straight and cannot and it's a bit lengthy to describe why not so let's just say it's half platform problems and half glacial pace customer service. 2. [Customer SVC Issue] Not being able to reach anyone by phone is just plain stupid, especially in the cases where people have a mile-long "Ticket" and you can't simply pick up the phone (or answer one) to have a tech support person help out. 3. [Another Platform ..] In the "Your Account" section of your site, just allow people to invite and CHANGE their partner's email address and not make us have to contact you for permission to change this. So there ya go - they are 3 for 3. With those odds, I'd probably look elsewhere but for now, we're staying for the mere fact we found an awesome therapist!

My husband and I were going through a rough time and hadn’t communicated properly since forever. Our therapist dove right in and, instead of focusing on whatever fire we were putting out at the moment, she taught us better communication. We are still a work in progress, but our quality of life has improved immensely. The only issue I have is with the payment plans. I feel that we should be able to pay for say 20 sessions and use them within a rolling year. It would be so much easier to keep track.

I find Dr. Sperry to be extremely perceptive and out of our conversations I’ve found the courage for deep self reflection. On the other end of confronting old and debilitating trauma, I feel healthy, resilient and strong.

It’s a need for me to face my struggles, but by bit. It’s priceless what these sessions provide and do for a soul. Thank you, Ms Florence and all therapists, for what you do for humanity!

I can't say enough good things about Regain. Our therapist Christi has helped my husband and I communicate again. She is so patient and has so many different ways of helping us work on our relationship. The worksheets she sends are very helpful in working through issues. I was skeptical at first but we have had 3 sessions now and have made so much progress.

It’s only okay. If you expect real in depth therapy, this is not it. The sessions are 30minutes and the supposed benefit is that you also have access to the therapist via text. It’s not a great container and certainly not much time to get into deeper issues in 30 minutes. If your issues are trauma, forget working with this app. My partner even cried in a session and there was zero time to address or acknowledge it. It seems you are getting cheaper therapy but you also get what you pay for. And for now, this is all I can afford, so it will have to do.

Regain is the best. They match me with a knowledgable, insightful therapist that has helped enhance my relationship with my family member.

Total scam. After spending £240 and having one 45 min session, they tried to take payment for a second £240. My card had fortunately expired so & I emailed them to explain there had been a mistake as I had only received 1 session. One had even been cancelled by the therapist moments before the session and she only had availability at nights on certain days to see us. They replied to say the £240 is a ‘membership’ that gives you access to webinars and ‘a optional weekly therapy session of 30 or 45 min, depending on what the therapist wants to offer’ they said the therapy sessions were not a mandatory part of what you are paying for! A sting of unhelpful and mildly aggressive email later, I’d rather loose £240 than deal with them any longer. avoid!!

We are very pleased with Regain. It is so easy to get counseling in the comfort of your own home from highly qualified professionals. I highly recommend it to any couple who needs some help navigating their relationship.

We have had a wonderful experience using ReGain. It has been a great and flexible resource. Our therapist is excellent and very well trained. We are so lucky for finding this tool.
