I tried it once and they charged my credit card for the entire month! When I canceled after the first session they said it would be no problem. But they refused to refund me for the rest of my money. You give them your card number you better be prepared to be taken advantage of. They’re going to lie to you on the phone and then send you a ton of automated emails to tell you no! The one session we had she kept losing signal and it was so uncomfortable trying to understand what she had tried to say. Don’t bother insurance won’t reimburse you either!

If you're going to go to couples therapy, then doing it through this service is something I would highly recommend. They make the whole process of getting started and everything else very straight forward. Their therapists are good at what they do as well.

Our therapist is engaging and always in touch with us. We feel that he makes it his goal to help my partner and I grow and become a strong unit. He believes in being proactive and and digs into different aspects of our lives to determine the root cause of what may be preventing us from progressing.

I do NOT recommend this service. I only wish I had read some of these reviews before trying Regain. I tried Regain to meet with a therapist last summer, and the therapist constantly cancelled, and when we finally arranged a session, they only met with video off. It felt incredibly impersonal. I tried again this summer, and was charged $95 each week for three weeks without ever being able to meet with a therapist (no availability on the therapist's schedule despite being matched with them directly). I do NOT recommend this service. You will be charged regardless of whether or not you receive any actual therapy, resources, or help.

This is a fake service. The “counselors” never met with us and cancelled three times and then sent us rude and vague messages. I’m still waiting for my $200 refund

Be AWARE this is a US based company and is unsuitable if you are based in the UK. I made it clear I am based in the UK, yet have been offered live counselling sessions that are suitable to a US counsellor (so around midnight UK time) not for paying UK clients. I have asked to cancel the transaction (ask for refund), but I do not have high hopes and will have lost this money, which is not cheap. This discovery has increased the existing stress of am under. I do not recommend.

Regain was instrumental in assisting my wife and I in our marriage during a difficult period. Without Betterhelp/Regain, we wouldn't have met our amazing therapist, EJ. We used the service faithfully for about 4 months and utilized the portal for chat and journaling. I appreciate this service and believe it can be a gateway for many to find mental health solutions for their specific situation.

Absolutely a sh!t website with counselors who do a bad job, hence why they don't have a real office and have to find people online. You pay hundreds of dollars for absolutely nothing, except maybe a one 30 minute sessions with an under qualified counselor. I signed up for Regain over a week ago, and still have yet to hear a single thing from anyone, get any work for us to work through, NOT A SINGLE THING

Just a bit rubbish. My wife signed us up and immediately paid for 6 months up front at a discount. We signed up and waited. We were quickly "matched" with a therapist who appeared to be totally unsuitable. This was some guy in America (were in the UK) and seemed to specialise in "veteran issues". Were not and have never been in the army and we wanted to discuss our relationship. I immediately emailed the company requesting a refund. Uk distance selling regulations would of allowed this to happen. The problem is regain.us is based in the Us and does not abide with UK or EU law. So we tried again, we had another therapist "matched". She seemed nice, but two sessions in she told us she wasn't qualified to work with us and she'd have to cancel our sessions as she could only work in the US. There was then a weird bit where she asked us to pray with her... So third therapist. Seems nice enough, again, but one very brief half hour session and few messages and we've had enough. So in the 6 months we've paid for, we've actually had 3 sessions and been booked with 3 different therapists. Suddenly that special offer isn't so special.

A BETTER US FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE It is/has help my wife and I be better with each other so we can be better for our family. Allowed us to overstand each other and focus on things in each other that we stopped focusing on in the past. So it has opened up new doors for us as well as balance in our lives. Thank you Regain for all your many blessings.

This service has been a great experience.

Poor customer service. This service was referred through the company I work for as a free (paid for by my company) service. I wasn't able to create an account with ReGain unless I put in a debit card number and I assumed it was in case I were to purchase additional services. Well Right away ReGain charged me $260.00! After a long process I did get a refund through paypal. This process took 2 weeks and my account being overdrawn which I had to take care of myself. Customer service was nowhere to be found from ReGain through this process. Highly NOT recommended!

Great app! Would highly recommend. My therapist is great and we wouldn’t have ever even tried if it wasn’t for the app. It was so easy to navigate and find someone both my husband and I could agree on. He’s a great therapist and again you can do all assignments and journaling as well as video chatting with your therapist through the app!

I was able to get a therapy session very quickly. My therapist is very knowledgeable and helpful. Her enthusiasm prior to our first session also made me hopeful.

My therapist, Sean, is an incredible listener and is instrumental in facilitating a safe space where we can discuss the most delicate topics. Trust, integrity and empathy are being restored in my relationship with my co-parent, and we are moving forward to provide the best possible environment for our child. I highly recommend Regain and deeply appreciate Sean, and the Regain team.

Dr. Autheman has a gentle way of listening and making everything that seems jumbled make sense. I have epilepsy and my memory is hard to deal with shebis wonderful for her patience in listening to how jumbled up everything was and making sense of mf it all. She is very kind and understanding.

I loved our therapist Joanne. She was knowledgeable, fair, caring and as a plus, she prayed for me. She helped me so much.

The Regain online therapy sessions had been effective and helpful with the our couple therapist. The therapist is sensitive to personal struggles, and always asks important questions which direct to the core of our issues. The conversations are focused, helpful and geared towards on a path my partner and I both desired for. I will recommend for couples who have communication issues to seek timely help from Regain.
