Regain

My wife and I initially were interested in Regain. We ended up discovering we had counseling options via her EAP. The day after we paid we sought to cancel. We did not realize that it was a membership. We also didn't realize that you pay to be matched but not for the actual counseling session. We discovered this because our $256 payment would not be refunded since we were "matched" with a therapist. We never corresponded with nor talked to the therapist. So we're out $256. This seems fraudulent. I do NOT recommend this company. There has to be an oversight board I can speak with.

Easily made an appointment and within a day, we had our first meeting. The therapist was matched well for our family needs.

Horrible so far. Trying to sign up and get linked together. Not working. Call helpline - most ridiculous call i've ever had. She has no idea and just takes notes and submits a ticket. Same as if you email them. She has no clue. we exchanged i dont know how many emails just to even get set up and are still not up and running with this non-functioning app.

Well what can I say I was skeptical at first but little did I know the wonders and magic this platform did for my relationship my therapist is experienced knowledgeable and genuine every session is like a breath of fresh air .

This is a scam! They were unable to find me a therapist but they charged for an entire month anyway - even though I canceled within a few days after they couldn't help me find anyone. It is not made clear you are charged way before you use the service and even if they can't match you. They take advantage of vulnerable people who are desparate to get help and just steal your money!

I would give it 0 Stars, I had to pay $216 upfront and after 4 separate attempts with 4 different therapists I was unable to obtain any services. My partner and I have FT jobs with availability in the evenings and weekends. None of the therapists wanted to accommodate our schedule! Do they think people just don’t work!? It was hell getting my money back.

This platform was a life saver for me when I needed it most. My therapist was available to me in the evenings and even weekends! I could send anything via the app on what I was experiencing and he would often get back to me within a couple hours or minutes. I felt heard and the advice that was given was extremely useful and necessary. I would use this platform again!

Regain is helping me and my partner discover and work on communication tools so that we can maintain a healthy relationship going forward. Also our therapist is amazing. I have had several therapists over the years, and this person is one of the best. They ask the most insightful questions, give us helpful reading material, and our sessions are structured in a way that helps us feel tangible progress.

Regain claims are a scam. Their counselors have very limited availability, change session dates, miss entire weeks, and Regain offers no refund for poor service. It's a good idea, but doesn't work.

The company take your money straight away but they can't give you counselling straight away. You have to take a week or two for a video counselling session. Meanwhile, the clock on your subscription is running down. You can't start your subscription at the first counselling session and there's no way to pause your subscription.

You sign up and pay for a month, which is 4 sessions. But as counselling is based in US time zones don’t work and our counsellor had two week holiday so we only managed to get 2 sessions, even though paid for 4 . We contacted Regain but they would refund . The counsellors have very few sessions so hard to get amount back you paid. It’s good idea but doesn’t work

Regain follows shady business practices. They get access to your credit card and make it look like they are just a middle man. In reality they charge you regardless of your active sessions and then ignore your refund requests. I am cancelling my subscription and most likely will file a lawsuit against them. This system is a total scam. Don't trust them. If you do, block your credit card from the future charges with your bank.

Very nice platform

I some glad that I decided to try therapy. I am even more excited that I chose Regain and Caressa Harp. She listens and she patient. I don’t feel like she’s judging me or my situation. I am able to be honest with her without feeling bad.

Amazing company, super responsive and caring. They do a wonderful job with customer service and they care! Also if you don't like your counselor you can change. Very flexible and regain has helped me and my partner fix our issues.

After going through two therapists I found the one for me and without him my marriage would have broken down a long long time ago. More than that tho, my mental health has some form of stability thanks to me therapist. I look forward to our phone sessions everytime and it is such a relief to know that I will speak to a friendly professional who knows me very well. I highly recommend betterhelp and regain for everyone in need. Also best price for value by far!

Very helpful and great therapists!

My partner (36) and I (39) have been have been on the verge of breakup for 6 months to a year. We’ve been living together for 2 years and together for 4. We both want to stay together but running out of patience and he wasn’t sold on going to therapy. Finally, as a last resort he agreed to go. In person appointments have been hard to come by. We were in the car talking about our problems and googling places to go when this site came up so on a whim we signed up for ReGain. Best decision ever!!!! Our counselor was funny, professional, experienced and best of all helpful. My tough guy partner said he actually enjoyed it! We laughed and cried in our session. We both felt better and our first week since our session is night and day. We are both feeling good about it and looking forward to the next session. Best of all, our biggest hurdle is cost and this is doable. It’a worth it essp if it saves our family. The other hurdle was finding a time we could both attend a session but this solved that problem too! We booked online. My partner and I scheduled at our lunch time. It was like a 3 way zoom meeting and even if it was online it was very personal and we forgot it was online. After our session we received a follow-up with key points and things we said we’d do better. Super cool. Thank you Regain for giving us another opportunity to change the trajectory of our lives together. So, if you’re reading this you probably felt like we did -unsure about it. Take a chance. I’m so grateful for ReGain. The therapist I’ve been connected with has truly been helping me on this current journey I’m on. I love how affordable ReGain is as well!

I have been using better help for about 6 months. Have found someone who listens to my issues and helps me find ways to deal with these issues. I recommend using Better Help to anyone who needs to talk and find ways to help cope, solve or change things in life. It is convenient to have my sessions at home on my schedule.
