I’ve cancelled within 30 minutes and…

I’ve cancelled within 30 minutes and wish I read trustpilot before signing up in the first place, as I’m now super anxious about getting my money back. As I’m in the UK and they work in PST, I may need to wait a gruelling 8 hours+ before I hear anymore about my request for a refund. But given I cancelled within 30 minutes and have not been matched, I don’t see why I cannot get a refund and hope they process this quickly. Otherwise it’s £240 lost during a cost of living crisis for nothing received. To be honest I didn’t realise they were actually going to charge me the £240 right away. I thought it was more of a hold once you were matched with a therapist. I feel so stupid for going through the misleading registration process. I changed my mind as it only became clear to me once on the site (the bits you can only see after they take your money!) that all therapists are in the US. Given we are in the UK, we would prefer a therapist over here for cultural reasons. I also didn’t really like that I had to pay £240 upfront and this idea that I’m reading from other reviews that this is a membership fee with an ‘optional’ therapy session is just a blatant misleading sales pitch designed to steal vulnerable people’s money. Please just refund me and let me go on my way. Update: 6 December 2022 After waiting nearly 36 hours, Regain finally replied to me. I provided the additional information they wanted to TrustPilot, but was not looking forward to waiting even longer for a further reply. I do not want to continue with this service and want a full refund since I have not taken up any services. They followed up to their reply on TrustPilot directly to me on email which was appreciated, and confirmed they have issued a full refund - which I have yet to receive but may take a few days. Although it was a stressful 36 hours, I appreciate not having to argue with them for a refund. Update 7 December 2022: Refund received with thanks.
