Do not join Nuffield Health they don’t even have a contact number to call when you want to cancel your membership,they have made it so hard to cancel your membership you have to send Emails to cancel then no one responds back. they put my membership on hold for one year nobody contacted me to say do you want to cancel or continue they just took payment from my account they made me pay two months before I was cancelled do not join this gym especially the one in Hendon Central also the gym is rubbish hardly no gym equipment and most of the gym equipment is broken.now they have put Debt Collectors on to me for payment I have not been going to the gym for one year be very careful when thinking about joining Nuffield Health

The gym itself is not horrible, but the branch I go, in Moorgate, is very too crowded. The biggest problem was that they subscribed me to the wrong plan with the one year commitment and now I can't cancel it, so be very very clear when subscribing yourself.

Great, Joint Pain Program. Support & knowledge lead program provides you with the necessary information & exercise program to support your pain recovery. Highly recommend. Leila the Joint Health Specialist was great at helping with all the elements of this program.

Unfortunately the Stoke Poges site has really deteriorated. I have been a member for a year now and have seen a serious neglect of the building and its facilities. Very poor pool maintenance - the temperature is never constant. Runs more like an outdoor pool. Men’s sauna - this hasn’t been working for months. I was told a new sauna was due to be fitted and the wait was for head office to approve it - this was back in November 2024. Apparently it’s going to be installed in February 2025 Disabled changing area - a complete disaster area! The locker facilities are rusty and not working. Shower area is very dated and doesn’t function properly. Studio One - this studio is the main studio for nearly all the classes. It’s falling apart. Tiles are falling away from the ceiling area and not being fixed, These are just the facilities I use at this premises. Many members are dissatisfied with the upkeep and maintenance of the premises and its facilities beyond what I’ve already mentioned. Membership has been increased as of December 2024 The operations managers and general managers hands are tied as the head office are refusing to action many of the necessary improvements that are now well overdue. As my ‘home gym’ it’s disgusting and Nuffield CEO and area management team should be embarrassed. Members pay a lot of money for these facilities and they fail to deliver on the promises made on induction day.

Cannot compliment the Nuffield and the staff enough. Being a NHS patient, it was like suddenly this was what we'd want all hospitals to be like. Great service and treatment. I was sad to leave.

Had a membership with them which I was quite disappointed, there were hardly ever spaces on the classes I wanted to participate in. Too many people in the swimming pool as well and the Jacuzzi never functioned (I tried different branches of theirs and it was always the case). There is no one in the gym to ask for instructions if you want to try a new machine, so found myself needing to ask random people or watch how someone do it before going to the machine and try myself. Then I became too busy and froze my membership which took forever to do because you cannot do it by phone or in your branch, you have to email them 2hich took them a couple of months to reply and during that time I continued paying. When they reinitiated after a year without a notification an email that will alow me to do anything about it, then they charged me for a whole month without notifying me and did not agree to refund me

I have just completed the 12 week Joint Pain Programme and have benefitted from it enormously. Katie, the rehab specialist was so supportive and the programme content was spot on. I have been able to improve my lifestyle, get my confidence back and manage my symptoms in a way that feels so much more positive. After a painful 2024, I feel like ‘I’m back !’

I feel it’s important to share this review to highlight how crucial good management is in a gym environment. When people come to exercise, they’re not just working on their bodies but also seeking a place to relax and clear their minds. There’s a lady at the Nuffield club gym in Kingston Upon thames names MARIA, who has made my experience so much better. Whenever I see her, she puts a smile on my face. A few years ago, I was struggling with an issue with my gym card. I asked the main management for help but didn’t get much support. Then another day I came back to someone else and she stepped in, helped me with care and kindness. People like her are what gyms need—someone who truly cares and enjoys helping others. Even though my contact with her was years ago, seeing her at the gym still makes me happy. Her small act of kindness made a big difference to me after a long, busy day, and I’m very thankful for her customer service at the gym.

Nuffield Leeds is wonderful if you don't like crowded NHS hospitals. I saw only 3 other patients in the spacious waiting room on one visit and none on another visit. They must be busy though, because it takes at least 5 to 10 minutes to get through on the phone. As a self-funder, I was first asked for payment. The consultant was booked and I later went for a MRI. I wanted a second opinion on the result, so asked for a copy of the radiologist's Report. Nuffield promised to send it on completion of a Subject Access Request (SAR), but didn't deliver. When I complained, it claimed my consultant had to authorise the Report's release because they own it. Whether or not a report is the consultant's property is irrelevant: a SAR entitles people to a copy of their data. Nobody's permission is needed. Nuffield and its consultant either don't understand the law or want to deter patients from going elsewhere for a second opinion. Such resistance to giving us our data was abandoned by the NHS years ago. After 3 difficult phone calls and several emails, I got my Report. If you think going private entitles you to a stress-free process, think again.

Disappointing service, none of my historic records were visible to my consultant, so had to explain all the history and so there was no context for my visit,

Fantastic initiative getting people into a gym environment who would otherwise not consider joining a gym Free gym use is very helpful to get used to the gym environment without obligation

My wifes surgical treatment was cancelled by me because her deteriorating condition. consultant requested refund be made on 28/11/24. numerous calls asking for payment, sympathy but no action. logged complaint with customer relations team and received automated response on 26/12/24 saying they wont respond in 2 days as promised on website because they are busy.

It's important to give credit where credit is due I'd like to say outstanding work especially on engaging me as a member and seen with other members Michelle D Theresa. Then there is the 3 Tracey's Tracey G exceptional lifeguard by the pool Tracey O reception and Roselyn and other Tracey 3 Tracies in all all Lovely human beings. Nuffeild @ Chingford.

Joined Nuffield in person and was provided a paper membership agreement stating 1 month cancelation period which was confirmed by the staff member when reviewing everything. Now when i come to cancel I am being directed to contacts online that were never discussed or emailed to me stating a 1st of month to 1st of month cancelation period. I am now being threatened with debt recovery because they didn't send or advise me of any online contract. Shocking behaviour by the Manager Rikki Moug and also Ben Edit - Contract being quoted was never issued, discussed or provided.

I recently received a total hip replacement in the Vale Hospital. My overall experience has been very positive. From the initial assessment stage to pre op, admission for surgery; surgery and post op care. All stages of the process have been efficient, my consultant, Mr.Phil Thomas, professional ,thorough & experienced. All staff both medical & non medical, in theatre & on ward including porters & catering staff are all exceptional. A special mention to all nursing staff on ward providing post op care & support. All maintained professional, warm, friendly & compassionate care for 12 hour long shifts! You’re exceptional! Truly grateful to you all ! Jo Reynolds

I been a member at this gym for 7 years never had any issues. Today I forgot my card at home. The lady behind the counter called Sarah let me in but can't give me a locker card to put my belonging in locker. I ask why she said its company policy. What policy is this when month ago I forgot my card another staff gave me temporary card to put my belonging in. I was not happy with her because she was saying put it in your mates locker. I can't carry my belonging with me to do exercise in gym. I would of payed for the card because of expensive belonging I had. What if someone stole my thing? The gym price is going up everytime and at end I get this kind of customer service.

Unable to access swimming pool safely as unfriendly and unhelpful staff ( four of them) gave me incorrect information.

Nuffield St Albans is supposed to be a flagship Gym but it is anything but. It is a tired facility. They do not care about investing in good quality equipment or even repairing the ones they have Many of the machines are broken for many many months. They do not look after the gym and there are many gyms in the local area which are much cheaper and much better equipped. I’ve complained to management on several occasions and they respond by saying I can just leave. They really don’t care about maintaining customers. The only positive is the sauna and steam room which is the only over reason you would join this gym. The swimming pool is not awful either. Therefore, this is really a swimming pool under the sauna and steam room and to charge over £90 a month for that seems a bit dear. They rely on the St Albans premium. But members are leaving in droves.

ORIGINAL The cookie choices on the Nuffield website appear ambiguous ...where it displays black ovals with white "buttons" on the left of the oval and the word "Off" in grey at the right side, on a black background. When one clicks on the white "button" it moves to cover the greyed word "Off" and reveal a bright white word "On" on the left side. In which setting is the cookie actually Off - when it is revealed in grey or when it is covered and the word On is revealed in brighter white? It's confusing and timewasting. I wouldn't recommend Nuffield Yeovil for swimming lessons. They hold kids back from making progress so they're on the stages for longer than necessary. My son was on 95% completion or higher for many weeks but still wasn't even given the opportunity to practice or pass the 1 skill (butterfly legs) he needed to progress onto the next stage. For weeks they just kept going over the skills he was super competent at and passed many weeks prior. I complained many times but still not addressed. A waste of money. Other swimming lesson providers are available in Yeovil!
