Well 1 STAR because there's no zero stars. Be aware of this Lebara scheme ; I dont have a contract i buy manually a bundle meaning im intittled to buy it when i want is not a contract is buying a service but im told by Lebara costumer service that automatically it will renew himself ????? Wait a second i dont have a monthly contract i buy a service manually that last 30 days but its me that choose when i want yo buy it . But gets even better one day BEFORE expiry my bundle Lebara automatically charge me the same bundle i bought previously without my permission . Meaning its FRAUD im being charged a service whithout being provided the service itself because didnt expire yet . How can this be possible ??? Again i dont have a contract !!!! Its a bundle there's no subscription or fix payments thats why you buy it when you want but still Lebara charge you like a monthly contract. Dont fall in this shit cancel Lebara payments in your bank app and only switch it on when YOU decide to buy the bundle not LEBARA charging you 24 hours in advance and without your authorization. Dont use the APP cancel erase it frpm your phone if you buy bundles they will take your money without your permission this is illegal AGAIN i buy a bundle not a monthly contract

I had switched to Lebara a year and a half ago and everything was smooth up till end of May 2025 when I noticed that my data was disappearing from fourth of June till fourth of July. I have spent on Lebara £75 just to add data so I was buying plans to have data. The best was that in four days time in three days time, sorry I’ve used 50 giga data. Is that possible? Lebara is coming the customer with the data and when I made a complaint they gave me five giga data back then all of a sudden that’s gone And on my account I’ve got extra 20 gig and after 2 1/2 weeks that I was waiting for someone to contact me they decide to contact me on Sunday 2 o’clock just before lunch with my family to tell me that I have to keep my mobile data off when I am on Wi-Fi They think they talking to a child even my children on TikTok they don’t use that much data they reinstalled some of my data back even though I explained that I need to travel and I need data on my phone. I haven’t been planning to change network but now definitely I’m leaving Lebar I’ve been with Vodafone with sky with EE with O2 never ever ever. I use more than 30 GB per month of data. I always have spare data in the end and Laura 50 GB the disappearing in three days what is your secret? Lara? Tell it to the customers guys go away don’t go near

Scam asking for details and then hanging up when given

i bought a lebara recharge and impossible to activate it after i gave all my details on the phone the network suddenly stops. I tried to contact lebara in all the way possible (phone, email, chat from laptop, chat from app but impossible to get a reply from them.

Sim swap by scammers just asking for…

Sim swap by scammers just asking for pac code, no proper i.d. Failure on lebara security, I should need to authorise. They said extra security put in place, but happened again. UNBELEIVABLE And lebara if you want to contact me don't call my number it is still with the scammers. OK on Day 3 still waiting for lebara to return my number,multiple checks to ensure my i.d. when asking for details where was that security on the number porting. Yesterday told the team would contact me in a couple of hours.. Nothing..contacted today by chat told 48 to 72 hours. TERRIBLE SECURITY AND SERVICE............................................................ Day 9 still no return of my number. No contact from lebara for days. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE. DON'T USE.

I have used Lebara for 3 years and have found them excellent in most respects. They are a little slow in paying commissions. That apart they have been excellent. Humans actually answer the phone promptly. If any does not like them they can leave after 30 days!

If I could leeve this company zero I definitely would. The worst company I have encountered. They scam people on their referral then don't reward. I will continue to leave negative feedback whilst this unresolved.

Annoying actor on the advert "thank you man" (idiot)

They have the most annoying "actor" doing the advert on the TV who has to be a really good reason not to use Lebara, well that and the 77% of one star reviews. Is this company a complete joke?

I've used Lebara in the Netherlands for…

I've used Lebara in the Netherlands for a few weeks while on a business trip and had a good experience. I picked a prepaid 6GB bundle for €6.50 which came with a 50% discount and was valid for 30 days. It comes with unlimited calls and texts but I only used the data part. Pretty reasonable pricing! The coverage was great and I didn't face any issue whatsoever with regards to connectivity. That said I was always in a major urban area (Amsterdam and Rotterdam). Back in the UK though, I noticed the data speeds can be a little hit or miss when you're outside the city. My connection oftentimes dropped to 4G even though my other SIM card shows 5G. While that didn't bother me too much, this is something to consider if you're in the countryside.

Would be a 0 if it was an option to…

Would be a 0 if it was an option to choose. I purchased a sim after researching and discovering that I would be able to use it in the country I was visiting (Bangladesh). I was disappointed to say the least! I was not able to get a signal let alone use it for data, calls or text! What a waste of £30.

2 weeks, enough is enough

I have been with lebara for two weeks and I am leaving already. The network doesn't work for data, I have had to try downloading apps, security updates multiple times and failed. Customer service is terrible, more interested in bad reviews being changed than sorting issues, no regard for what your upto when they call just springing into auto pilot, I had to stop Lebara rep and say that now is a bad time and suggested a time to call back and that never happened. Now I have got a new Sim in my old knackered phone and it's working better than Lebara Sim in new phone and new monthly Sim only deal gives me 6x the data for the same price and just to sweeten the deal further new network sent a £75 wine voucher, just waiting for number to switch over, will be swapping Sims between phones later so new network in new phone and I won't have to go outside to make calls and download. Can't wait to be gone!

Messed up porting my number which removed the service on both my old and new number

Same issues as the reviewer a week or so ago. Took out contract, set up app, activated SIM and everything was fine. They were then to port my old number across, messed it up and now I have no service on either my original number or the Lebara one. The Lebara SIM doesn’t even connect to their network. Customer service are hopeless, tell you everything will be fixed soon and then nothing happens. They lie to you telling you that they have fixed the ‘technical’ issue and that everything will work soon, but it doesn’t. Won’t / can’t transfer you to a manager, say they are raising a complaint but won’t give a reference number or the details of the team that will handle it. I asked them just to turn my SIM back on with the Lebara number so at least I had some access and they couldn’t even do that. No resolution time, told the complaints process would take 48/72 hours in the meantime no service. Going to cancel contract and go with a better provider.

Ba aware, they are useless with support.

Been a customer of Lebara over a year. Persuaded my family to change as I’d been happy with them. Encountering an issue with one sim, I had to use their support. Awful. They do not understand their systems then shout at you when you tell them they aren’t listening the Lebara service is ok until you need to talk to someone. They are obnoxious and useless. Be warned.
