The last time I placed an order online with a gift card it turned into a nightmare and dealing with the online customer service was the worst. I swore I’d never shop there again. Unfortunately my SIL gave me a gift card this past Christmas. Ordering online is a bad dance, you click on an item, open the page and it’s not available at my local store (I was doing pick up) This happened so many times. Finally got my order in and I was then informed one item wasn’t available. I had to click on each order to find which one. Turned out when I added two of one item, they only had one. Then I changed my pick up date and that wasn’t acknowledged. For such a large corporation, they have the worst website ever. It is not user friendly in the least. Additionally, their products are grossly overpriced. Do some comparison shopping before you order from them. I’m so done with Michael’s.
Nala from the Braintree Massachusetts store was amazing! She was able to go into detail of which item did what and had great suggestions to save money for my class. I would recommend her for a promotion or a raise because she made my experience at Michaels one to remember.
I visited Michael's store in Rochester MN a couple of days ago and was greeted as I entered the door by Lisa. What a delightful young lady she is. Very helpful and I purchased more than I intended too because of all the great ideas she gave me ;0) Then I proceeded to the check out and was greeted by Hollie. She was very pleasant and cheerful. The store looked AMAZING!
I enjoyed looking at all the sales . I was greeted when I walked through the door and I was also asked if I needed help when I looked lost lol

The rewards program sucks.I spent a whole lot at Michaels and never received rewards for these purchases. I always throw my receipt away before realizing I didn't get my rewards. this time I spent a little bit, only needed about a 2 dollar purchase to get a $5 reward, but after days...no reward. I just put this purchase in as a missing one because I was smart enough to keep the receipt this time. let's see what happens. but I got no rewards when I made a $90 purchase over the holidays. very disappointing. Edit...been days, no rewards points for my missing purchase. I couldn't have purchased ALL clearance items for these purchases so I should have gotten points.
Email from Michael’s arts & crafts asked me to fill in a survey in return for a $5-off-$15-purchase coupon; I tried to give a good relevant comment concerning the store during the survey only to be told “session timed-out” and to start over. I re-filled the survey and afterward was told to look for a 25% coupon in my email… NOT the $5-off-$15 promised, which is basically a 33.3% discount. This is some kind of bait-and-switch perpetrated by Michael’s surveys, and it’s a real letdown; there are more than plenty of bogus offers landing in my Spam/Junk folder already, I thought the Michael’s team was above that.
Sandy was my checkout Lady. I had a full cart and she was so kind and patient with me. So friendly and helpful.

I had not been in a Michael’s since I was a little kid and was a little overwhelmed trying to find everything. Tammy and Billy in Annapolis knew where everything was, had helpful input, and made me feel welcome back into the arts and crafts world.
An employee, Elizabeth, at the Chatham, Ontario location went above and beyond for me when purchasing a frame for a print. She provided exceptional customer service. Will always come back for items I may need!
I want to thank an employee(Daisy- Montgomery location) that took out the time to call me concerning my online order. They didn't have one of my items. She told me of some other options that I could get-to work great with what I was making. She walked me through how to change my order. I'm writing this review because I have placed orders before, no one called and when I got to the store to pickup. The guy told me he had to give me a refund because the store didn't have what I ordered online. I feel that was very bad customer service. because if I knew in advance they didn't have it. I wouldn't of come to the store. So again I really appreciate you Ms. Daisy.
Please correct the spelling of my home town You continual use the Catholic version of S Catherines when in fact the correct spelling is “St Catharines “
I love the Gulfport Michaels store! I mostly buy all my crafting supplies there! They have very helpful workers and the customer service is great!
Excellent, responsive Staff & service for a custom framing project - and also bought from their great selection of drawing supplies which had great prices .... both as gifts.
I am extremely Disappointed in Michaels.com and will Never order online from them again! I ordered a bunch of Glass items for my Christmas Village and every single piece came broken....They didn't even ship everything together, but everything I received was broken. I contacted them for a Replacement and they did Send, but one of them came broken a Second time! The most frustrating part of all of this is that the ONLY item I Wanted (The entire reason I placed an Order in the first place NEVER CAME! It got 'Lost in Transit') I contacted Michaels over 10 times throughout this entire process. At one point, they sent me a "Replacement" and it wasn't even a product relative to the one I was waiting on....This was supposed to be an Anniversary gift and now I cannot find it ANYWHERE except Ebay where some jerk is selling it for 250% what it's actually worth. I even saw the item in the store at the time and didn't purchase it because I was relying on my order! This was the most frustrating process ever!

I love that they always have what I need instead of ordering online. The staff is always friendly and ready to help with any questions I have.
One of your questions at the end of the review is makes no sense it says about not buying anything and why twice and I did buy things and there was no way to answer the question properly so I left it blank and it kept going back to the question but there was no way to correctly answer it otherwise I love you Store
