Michaels Stores

I had a $200 Order ship to wrong address. I called Michaels immediately (minutes after I hit submit) to correct. No service center open on Sunday evenings. I called first thing Monday morning to correct and the service center said they cannot stop the order and they could not correct the address. Then I had to call everyday for 5-6 days as the whole order needs to SHIP before anyone can help me. Final call with service center said they WILL NOT replace or refund because Michaels thinks I am a fraud. Do not order on line with Michaels. Their e-commerce is out dated. You’re better of with Amazon and others that have advanced processing systems.

I was very pleased by the help I received over the phone and when I got to the store. The product was what was needed.

This is an AWESOME craft store for all your needs. I highly recommend this craft store ask for Jeff he is one hell of a person, because he gives you lots of great ideas.

I am having a HORRIBLE time trying to get my order! It’s been 2 weeks and the status says shipped, yet when you track the package, it just says the the UPS label has been created! I’ve tried emailing and received a generic response on shipping times (1-3 business days)!! I’ve been charged, but I can’t get anyone to actually check on my order and why it hasn’t shipped!! I’m not talking about a pack of pens or markers…. This is an $80 order!!!

Mi daughter of 11 years bought many items for her lettering and drawing hobbies. Finally got a black Tombow but it was dry, like it has been used before. Sad experience.

I took a glued-together puzzle and my own frame to have a mat cut for it and have it assembled. I had all the clips and foam board with the frame. I think I was charged for my own frame. I was charged $172.96. I said I thought that was a lot since I brought my own frame. He didn’t say anything so I paid for it. I will be talking to someone else when I pick it up. I took another puzzle the same size to be framed (with a frame I already had) to Hobby Lobby and was only charged $50.00. I only took it to Michaels because it was open on Sunday and I was already in town. I will be taking my pictures to be framed to Hobby Lobby from now on.

I needed two more balls of the same colorway yarn I started a project with. I made my original purchase at this Michael's (6330 Seven Corners Ctr, Falls-Church, VA) a couple of weeks ago. It was easy to place the order online & have my husband pick it up on his errands in the same area. The store is always extremely clean, well stocked, has what I want, and there is always an employee available if I need assistance. Every associate I have dealt with at the Seven Corners store over the last 15 years has been helpful him- or herself or known who to refer me to when he/she didn't have the knowledge or ability to help (i.e., with coupons or vouchers through the Michael's app, with helping find alternatives when the exact yarn I needed was out of stock/discontinued/only available online or in a different store. Using the app, I always have a coupon (or multiple coupons), a voucher, or I can use the app to locate & compare items while inside the store. I normally buy my yarn and crochet necessities, pourable acrylic paint & preatretched painting canvas in person so I can feel them & compare colors side by side - something which is challenging if I have misplaced the label because every phone/website/app can show distorted colors.

If you need anything for crafting this is the store to go to.

I went to Michaels yesterday for a paper cake box. I saw the box I wanted online the advertised price was $1.49. At the store the price on the rack was $1.49 but when it was scanned at the register the price was $2.99. I won't return to Michaels again!

I have spent over $2,000 at Michael's in the last 2 mths and received zero in points. All of a sudden my points stopped. Have phoned customer svc 3 times. Said I would receive an email in 24 hrs. Still waiting.... Ridiculous!!!

Recently my partner and I visited the Keene NH store and had a great experience in the framing department. We had a large piece of art work and both Angel and SJ did a great "team work" job giving us guidance on the frame. SJ took the time to work with us, creating images of the frames to give us an idea of what they would look like with the picture, Angel also interacted with us providing insight. We are excited to receive the finished product this week and using their services again and again. I would highly recommend this staff and store for future framing services. Thanks p.s. my partner and I TEACH Customer Service and these to ladies get an A+++

Vestal, New York Michaels store...I am at Michaels at least once a week. For the past 2-3 MONTHS, they are out of stock on almost everything I am there to get. I follow a lot of Michaels jewlery classes and attempt to purchase what I need to never find it there because they are sold out. Michaels use to be my favorite store to shop. We are limited to only two stores in my area where I can purchase what I need to make Jewlery. When I ask a store member what's going on its always "our trucks are slow" Its been 3 months!

Since my mother and I like shopping at Michaels, we always purchase art supplies, floral arrangements, and other things that we use on a regular basis. We started shopping there since we moved to Lancaster. The prices are very good, but expensive.

I love the vast variety of craft and floral selection. They run awesome sales which allows me to stock up on supplies for my wreath and centerpiece business. I get so many creative ideas while shopping at Michaels and everyone is usually very knowledgeable.

I crochet blankets to donate to my local Hospice Home, usually 8 to 11 a month. I love using the Bernat yarn because it’s soft and warm and 2 skeins make a nice size. Always looking for a good price on the yarn. This last purchase I bought 20 skeins and probably should have gotten more at $4.99 each. Always looking for a Bernat yarn sale!

I go to Michael's to take back the last order I ordered online. The items look nothing like they did online. I am not paying $157.97 for the item you sent me. So the incompetent employees at 11719 NE Glenn Widing Dr, could not scan these items so they told me to come back tomorrow. They are too lazy to type in the order and return them. What will be the difference tomorrow?...I am so sick of inept people pushing their job to another idiot. They better figure it out tomorrow..I better not have to wait another hour for another incapable person that does not know what to do.

I have ordered from Michaels numerous times and always without fail, had excellent home deliveries. My recent experience however, was a nightmare! The paint I ordered, well over $90, was all squashed into a bubble wrap envelope instead of a box as they usually do. When I opened the envelope, I was faced with a mess of gold. One lid had popped off. I called Customer Care who were fantastic. So ... I gave 1 star and feel bad about it, because of all the other great service I received. But I need to complain!

I ordered two tall glass vases for delivery. When they arrived one of the vases was completely shattered.They were wrapped so poorly I don’t know how one survived. Placed directly on top of each other with NO wrapping in between each vase in a box to large and thin foam wrapping that allowed the vases to slide all over.

It is very difficult to locate the materials I am looking for. If I finally find them, however, they are reasonably priced and high-quality. The survey I just completed would have been very satisfying if I had been able to point out that I was forced to order online to get the item I had originally gone there for. In addition I would have loved to have told them what that item was. Please revisit that survey.
