Beautifully framed artwork

I am so pleased with the framed art work I ordered from Angela from store #5132 on 3/25/22. She was so helpful and took a lot of time. The picture was an unusual size and off center but she did an amazing job! I will definitely recommend Angela to anyone that needs framing. Judi K

Terrible website

Terrible website, navigating around is incredibly annoying. Click to increase the quantity of an item brings you back to choosing the color which makes you click on a different color and move to another page. There is no good option to ship something to you, $10 for 1-day shipping is the only option. you should offer free shipping for cheaper or free but it wasn't available for any of the items I wanted. Even when I tried to order from a store with the 1-day option, I couldn't find a store that offered what I wanted and had all the items in stock. I just wanted 6 items of yarn, 3 of each color and none of your stores had it. Correction, 1 store had it, and when I went through the purchase process, it said I was too far away, I am 20 miles from the store. I will be using amazon moving forward, this company is a joke.

Absolutely horrible experience ordering…

Absolutely horrible experience ordering online. All I can say is DON'T Do IT! I order a huge order in bulk. It was a same-day order. Nowhere on the website did it say the items would not be able to be same day. I even ordered it with the help of a Rep on the phone just to be sure as this was an order I need in a very short time frame. Today (a day later) as it still hadn't arrived I "chatted" with customer service on their webpage. They informed me that it "might" come in 6-9 business days! That's way passed when I need the items. So, I tried to cancel the order. They would not allow the order to be cancelled. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was denied. I am a schoolteacher and the items were for a performance next week. The only reason I ordered it was because of the Same-Day option. This was an extremely expensive order and I have no more money to but the items somewhere else. It was a total SCAM. They knew when I was ordering it that it wouldn't come Same-Day.

Too much thinking

I would have answered my review would include not finding everything I wanted but not being sure exactly what I wanted it was harder to look around because I really didn't know what I want it for sure and the finances did come into play because I'm a little short on money till the first of the month but I will be back when I get my money after the first of the month I enjoy your store tremendously title to my review my and I'm so glad I live close to it now

I went to Michaels at park place in…

I went to Michaels at park place in Barrie Ontario, today. I wanted a cricket machine & everything I needed to get started on my projects. A associate that works there named AMANDA WENT OVER AND ABOVE HELPING ME. She had patience & compassion for all my needs in that moment. She gently showed me item I needed to purchase. She was attentive & efficient! I feel truly blessed that this store has such a wonderful soul, who loves her job & helping others! I am happy I went to the store today! She is a valuable asset! Thank you for awesome experience! It’s important to appreciate those who make your store run As well as IT DOES!

Good place for crafty people

This review is for the physical store location at Magnolia Marketplace in New Orleans: Great store for all kinds of art & craft supplies. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions. Would have given 5 stars but (probably due to space restrictions) they don't always have everything needed in the store and shipping is a bit expensive unless your order hits $49 and qualifies for free shipping (which usually doesn't happen when needing only a handful of craft items here and there).

Waste of time

Ordered a machine and a folder set to go with it 5 days ago. Just called them about the status and was told the machine order was cancelled as they don't have it in stock even though it's still showing in stock on the website. I've received NO notification of this whatsoever until I called. And now of course the other item is no good to me so I'll have to send straight back. I tried to leave a review on their website it but it won't post because it includes "details about shipping and customer service" Well yeah, that's the whole point of my negative review

Michaels Can Do Better!

Michaels Complaint The location in Troy has very few friendly staff. I have been to this location on two different occasions in the past month and have not receive friendly service. On the first visit, I made a very large and expensive purchase for work. The lady at the checkout acted as though ringing up my items was an inconvenience to her. She was not friendly at all. No greeting when I wakes to her register, she aggressively tossed items in the bags, and no thank you for shopping before I left. Very poor customer service! During this visit, there were a few staff members on the floor talking to each other instead of offering assistance to or even greeting customers around. The lady at the checkout was friendlier than my prior visit. The only complaint with the checkout was she was ringing up customers alone. There was another lady behind the counter walking back and forth. I am not sure what she was doing, but she was not assisting with the growing line that was forming. While I understand there is a shortage of workers, I would encourage this location to train the workers that are current employees on excellent customer service. This location is closer to my home and convenient to stop in. I am willing to give the store one more opportunity. Honestly if I have a similar experience like the ones noted above, I am not sure if I will continue to shop here. I can find other more convenient ways to purchase supplies. Quality customer service is very important!

Going downhill fast..

I used to go to Michael's for specific gel pens that they then stopped selling. Then they were the only supplier of Swarovski flat back rhinestones which they now no longer sell ( this was due to Swarovski not Michael's ). So now I rarely go but I did stop in today and noticed that like 80% of items now have the everyday value tag so you basically can't use the coupon on almost anything anymore. They might as well just get rid of it altogether at this point. They are also extremely overpriced, usually double on most items I look for so I just end up going to Amazon. You would think they would want to gain more business instead of drive it away but that's what greed does to ya!

Movers were not kind and need to remove “Professional” from their name

Just moved here and my movers left several of our frames in bad shape. My son came to help me bring the damaged frames (they were very large and wouldn’t even fit into my large car). I thought we were going to Michaels but my son (whom the sun rises and sets in my eyes) suggested we go to the other store Ho—y Lob—. That fine. Well the price didn’t seem to bad and I anxiously awaited the pickup date. I go and it’s not ready, they don’t have the frame I picked out available. She states it should come right back, well it didn’t. I went picked another And same thing. I brought another piece of artwork over to Michaels where I met Debra, what a professional! She quickly saw what I needed and are new wooded base frames are being constructed as I rest near the pool on this amazing day only Florida delivers. With such success I went the next day pulled my frame order from Hobb$ Lobb$ and brought them to Debra at Michaels. It was her excellent capabilities and Michaels quality frames that won by business now and forever more. Great job Debra, Great job Michaels!

Dasia, at the register went out of her way to be polite and personable and I appreciated that after a disappointing stop for supplies that were not on the shelves..likely due to current freight delays across the US. And after waiting 10 minutes to check out. She and her manager were both very nice

Rare Art Posters- Custom Framing

Brought a large order of rare art posters to Michaels for custom framing- 11 large posters in all. I met with associate Logan for my appointment and he was fantastic. He took great care in handling my pieces and was very knowledgeable when it came to recommending frame style, material and color. Logan was professional and friendly and open about pricing. Michaels should be proud to have Logan on their team!
