Online experience was bad

Online experience was bad. When I tried to use a 40% coupon on an order, the Michaels system bounced it down to 20%. When I tried to use the 40% coupon on an order immediately after, the error message said the coupon had been used. I sent an online note to Michaels, which was bounced out with a "we're experiencing a problem" type of error message. The next day I spent 50 minutes in a chat with a customer service person who decided that the coupon was accidently distributed. I asked for a manager; and gave up after waiting another 10 minutes. I'm a long time Michaels customer, and asked for the additional $11.20 that I should have received or a new 40% offer coupon. A good customer service person could have resolved the problem in 5 minutes. Not this one.

Sweet cashier…

My daughter and I had a lovely cashier at Michaels Coquitlam, October 27 2022, evening. She was very happy and polite and we could tell she loved her job just by her mannerism. Thank you Madi for your polite and cheerful service. You are doing a fantastic job!

Connie in the frame department is the…

Connie in the frame department is the most kindest woman I've met in a long time. She was very patient, positive and polite from start to finish. Even if I was not purchasing anything from Michael's, I would stop by just to say HELLO. We need more Connie's in the customer service area. I left Michael's today in Brandon FL feeling great with ordering photos and frame for one art piece. Also while checking out at the front from more purchases I made, I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara at the register. She was very kind and polite. She also bagged my fragile items very carefully. Today has been one of the most phenomenal mornings after I worked out by meeting Connie (Employee/Leader of the Year-in my opinion) and Barbara (Just so sweet). Thanks so much. Duplicate and Triplicate them immediately!!

Brice in Fenton MO store is the best!

The young gentleman Brice at the Micheals in Fenton,MO on Gravois Bluff, was kind, considerate, polite, understanding, and was in no rush when I couldn’t find my proper payment method, even with another waiting. I had to leave and come back because of money to pay , and he didn’t make me feel funny about having to do so. Michaels should have more workers like him! Give him some kudos and a raise!😊

Bad policies when they make a mistake and send the wrong item

I ordered 3 items and one item which was something completely different came. I called michaels and they said they would not send me my items (what I paid for already) unless I return the incorrect item. So ok I go return it to the store and the workers didn’t understand and was just confused as I was there. I get home and call michaels and now they want me to send a picture of the return receipt like they already didn’t waste enough of my time. She also offered a 10 dollar gift card and then took it back for some reason. Worst experience ever I just cancelled the whole order, hopefully they can handle that task.

Worse customer service ever.…

Place the New Order with Michaels early this morning it was ready got the text and it was ready for pickup already had one and needed to be picked up got there checked in the store manager came out with my items I asked I said do you have both of my orders he says yes there's something in the sight separate from the canvas boards I said okay came home I'm 14 miles from there unloaded my car and open the sack and my second order was not there which I needed today to complete an order for a customer call the store they couldn't deliver it for some reason which they explained it was on them I felt that they should have gotten it to me she offered UPS or FedEx one of them but I wouldn't get it till next week so I just told her to cancel the order this is the worst customer service I have ever experience

Ups drop off

I don’t know what happened I’m sure it’s nothing but I dropped off 2 ups packages 1 I dropped off earlier the other a half hour later.the first one is fine received information on movement but the second there’s nothing on ups website about my package or on stockx usually stockx has the info within 20 minutes or less after I drop off my package but this time nothing just the first package. So I don’t know what is happening but I sure it’s just waiting to be picked up even though I dropped off both packages before 2:30pm . So I hope i just need to wait otherwise I’m not going to be real happy with what happened so I hope it’s just a waiting game still if they scanned it both my packages should register on ups regardless if they picked it up yet because they were both scanned so that’s where the question is why is 1 showing up there both scanned ?

Check out with Carolyn was professional, friendly, and expeditious. She was quick to ring up my items, wrap those items breakable, and packed my bags carefully. She is a credit to Michael’s and because of her I will be back to visit.

I enjoy shopping at Micheals but I have one suggestion the jewelry beads have been the same ones in years. Maybe bringing some new and different beads would be nice. I would buy more if you had new products. Just my opinion

Absolute B.S

Absolute B.S. we went to Michaels to get Prismacolor pencils, but the did not have the key for the shelf block, holding them in place, so we pulled the little plastic tab off the back that was hanging it, and then when we went to ring it up, they said that we had " Damaged The Product" and so she called the manager, and the manager says, with no sympathy at ALL. " In sorry, but I'm gonna have to deny your purchase 😏"and so we walked out with nothing. WORST STORE EXPERIENCE EVER.

Never again

Michaels is such a big joke. Over 2 days, 2 orders, being on phone with supervisors and reps in customer service. Everyone gave me the wrong information during this whole ordeal. Speaking to the reps there is obviously a language barrier. You have to go through this before you can speak to someone that actually speaks English. I spent more money getting orders that still were not correct. The last supervisor I just was speaking to, I believe her name was Shanika or Shaniqua, I explained what was happening and my aggravation 2 x and she still asked how can I help you. I just hung up on her because either she was not listening or just did not care. I believe both. I lost a client behind this nightmare and they lost a business customer. All I can say is believe the reviews.

Thumbs Down to Store #3864 on 71st St, Tulsa, OK

Store #3864 on 71st St. in Tulsa, OK has taken a huge downward plunge in service. Rude assistant manager - tall lady, brown hair. Have spent much money there but will not any longer. Service has been declining for some time but can no longer be ignored.

Michael's in Tampa Fla.Britton Plaza is…

Michael's in Tampa Fla.Britton Plaza is a wonderful store and has everything in it. The employees are extremely helpful and I can get almost any craft that I need even greenery for the home. (topiary's ect.) Photo album's and picture frames made by expert people. Excellent store!!

I love my local Michaels

I love my local Michaels. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I shop at least once a week and either buy my own art supplies, or look for creative kits for my grandkids, or items to use to decorate for the holidays. The choices always change.

Worst Customer Service at the Sawgrass Location (Sunrise, FL)

PLEASE HIRE MORE STAFF!!! This review is well over due. Every time I come to this Michael's there is always a line. Always 1 or 2 cashier and it doesn't matter what time of day it is. Wait in a line can be 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes longer. This evening I waited in line while one 1 cashier was up front. A customer behind me ask the cashier if she can call for extra help while the line seem to be growing. We both looked at her and could not tell if she did request help or not while she said okay. Customer behind me, ends up putting down her items and walks away while extremely pissed. Another customer gets the cashiers attention and ask again. Cashier responds that someone is coming. I was next in line so I didn't want to leave. I only had 4 items. Customer she was ringing out had about 20 items. I watched her do two transaction for the customer and still no help came to the front. I placed my items down and as I was about to walk through the sliding doors, two young ladies are walking up taking their sweet time. Please Please Please Michael's, do BETTER! This store is in a prime location with lots of traffic. It does not matter what time of day it is this store should have more staff.
