Online experience was bad
Online experience was bad. When I tried to use a 40% coupon on an order, the Michaels system bounced it down to 20%. When I tried to use the 40% coupon on an order immediately after, the error message said the coupon had been used. I sent an online note to Michaels, which was bounced out with a "we're experiencing a problem" type of error message. The next day I spent 50 minutes in a chat with a customer service person who decided that the coupon was accidently distributed. I asked for a manager; and gave up after waiting another 10 minutes. I'm a long time Michaels customer, and asked for the additional $11.20 that I should have received or a new 40% offer coupon. A good customer service person could have resolved the problem in 5 minutes. Not this one.
