Unhappy 🙁

Well once again I ordered something to be sent to me and the items came broken. This is the 3rd time in a yr...someone NEEDS to tell the people who package these items to wrap each one and secure them in a smaller box so they don't move around so much while being shipped to one place to another. I buy stuff for gifts to other people and everytime my items come broken.:( This last time I bought the 4" valentine dice and there was 1 tissue paper just laying inside the box...no protection whatsoever to the items and they were broken 😡 Pretty soon I will stop shopping here:(

I went to search for a DIY present for…

I went to search for a DIY present for my niece's wedding. I was amazed by the amount of deals and propositions they have for such occasions. Much more than just regular souvenirs. You could chose smth for baking, for decorating and of course for creating memorable and personal presents. Some of the designs are so good that I started doubting if I want to remake them. The only struggle is the site. It's too flashy, detailed, overloaded and difficult to navigate. Some of the headers didn't even work unless I open them on my phone.

Shout out to L the girl with pink hair in Nanuet NY!

Went to the store in Nanuet NY store number 8353 I was helped by this lovely girl with bright pink who said her name was L she was beyond helpful with a great big smile and she was so so sweet Couldn’t be happier with my visit!! She definitely needs an award for her great outstanding work as well the whole time I was there I watched her help other people as she ran around the store asking if anyone needs help along her way. She was beyond helpful not only to the customer but also to her staff! I stood there Jaw dropped for a few minutes on how well she was able to handle all of her problems and don’t miss a beat when someone needed her! Even with how busy she was she was still able to help everyone who needed it and definitely knew were everything was. Even when someone had an issue she still had this great big smile on her face and was able to help everyone without any fights! Great job L for your fantastic customer service definitely will be back just to be helped by her again!

Alexa was very helpful

Alexa was very helpful. I was having some problems on the self checkout. She explained and showed me how it works. I prefer a person cashier instead of over a self checkout. It’s more professional. If one has any questions or comments can ask a person cashier. The person cashier can be contacted not a machine.

MICHAELS SHIPPING SUCKS.Iam really upset with Michael's

I am really upset with Michael's. I ordered 2 skeins of yarn. I was told by Michael's that I would receive my order by today 01/21/2023. However I am now being told my yarn won't arrive until 01/24/2023. I needed this packaged delivered TODAY. I am sick of being told I will receive my items on a certain day then on the day of its arrival I am told it's delayed. This is very poor customer service and I will be wary of purchasing from Michael's again. 😡

Rebecca at 9881 in Riverside

Rebecca at 9881 in Riverside, CA was so very helpful when I was trying to find yarn. There was a sale going on (I didn’t know about) so there wasn’t a lot to choose from but she helped me find what I needed from what there was and she was so nice too! Thank you Rebecca. I will be sure to bring the blanket back to show you when I’m finished with it :)

Great place to get custom framing!

I recently went to Michael’s to have custom frames made for two of my mother-in-law‘s beautiful, watercolor paintings. The sales clerk was very knowledgeable and help me find exactly what I was looking for to frame my pictures. She answered all my questions, but also had suggestions of what I might be interested in using. I really appreciated all her help and her willingness to take time with me till I ordered exactly what I wanted. The store was neat and clean and everyone was very friendly. I recently moved and will be going back to Michael’s to get some home decor items for my new house.

Michael’s has great customer service

I love Michael’s, and shop there often. They one store in my area they sells plywood for laser use. I like the friendliness of the staff, and if you ask them where an item is they will look it up if needed, and take you directly to it. I do wish they would stop moving things around in the store so often. It makes it hard to locate things when you are in a hurry and it’s frustrating.

Coupons are misleading!

I like the availability of the store in reference to my home. I DON’T like how they lure you in with coupons, BUT almost nothing you actually want is included in their discounts. It would appear more honest if they listed what WAS included!! I’m sick of TRYING to read the fine print! Pretty much anything you really want is NOT included in their BIG sales. 20/40/60% OFF!!! Please. I’m shocked there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit. Joannes is even worse!

Bad customer service

Went in to drop off an Amazon item. Amazon said I just needed to bring item in box to any UPS location (there one in this store. Says it right in front window) and let them scan my return from my phone. This women comes out because there was a small line. An elderly lady was in front of us. The Michaels employee asked the elderly lady if she was paying with credit card. She said yes and then employee told her she had to go to self checkout. The lady told her she wasn't comfortable doing that and wanted cashier to check her out and that she doesn't really know how to use them and needed help. Employee told her she can't and pointed to self checkout. I couldn't believe the way she was treating this elderly lady. I was with my sister and we were shocked. Employee then came to me to ask what help I needed. I told her I had a Amazon drop off. She proceeded to tell me they don't do that. It needed to be taped up with shipping label. I told her I have the email stating I just needed to drop it off and get it scanned. She said...no, we don't do that. I was taking out my phone to show her and she turned her back on me and walked away. I couldn't believe it!! This is the Tualatin Oregon store off of Newberg. So rude to customers.

Love Michael’s

Love Michael’s. It has become my go-to store for craft supplies. My only complaint is at checkout. Most people (especially in my age category) refuse to use self-checkout. We like being able to talk to people as we checkout and also to know it is being done right. With only 1 cashier available, we had a long line at checkout. In fact, I was watching 1 person at self-check out. She had a shirt, scanned it several times but it wouldn’t scan. She shrugged and put the shirt in her bag and walked out.

Frais livraison 24h, foutaise

J'aime bien ce magasin en général. Toutefois, j'ai récemment passé une commande en ligne, un frais supplémentaire pour livraison rapide, 24 heures. J'ai acheté le 4 janvier. On me dit que mon colis arrivera le 9 janvier. C'est très long pour un frais dit livraison 24h... j'essaie de corriger le tir, mais il n'y a aucun service à la clientèle. C'est assuré que je ne referai pas ce genre d'achat.

Skyview FANTASTIC. Clairview...UNINTERESTED

The staff at this location were fantastic. I had just come from the Clairevire location and they were absolutely terrible. Disinterested and zero desire to assist. When I spoke with 2 different employees, both were unfriendly and unwilling to express a want to help answer my 2 questions. The manager of the store refused to give me a discount for a damaged item (the last one in store and previous staff member wouldn't search other stores inventory to see if they had one in stock). When I went to the Skyview location, they had 4 on hand and said they would've haven given me the discount with no problems. They did an exchange for me with smiling faces. Also, the Clairview store didn't ask for my phone number or email address. The Clairview store had only 4 colours of the lap top tray AND were higher priced than the Skyview store. I do understand that certain (or all) stores may be understaffed, but that is no excuse to treat the customers like they are not welcomed there. The staff at Clairview has made my husband and I decide to NEVER return to to that store, we would much rather travel to the farther location for better customer service. The Skyview store is your saving grace, for us to return as customers. Please make sure the Skyview manager reads this review and passes it along to their staff. The staff needs to hear positive feedback for their customer service. As for Clairview, the lack of sales will tell that manager that they, and their staff have the wrong attitude. They drive their customers away by the lack of interest.

Gave up hope, then Christian to the Rescue…

I had an impossible task to complete for my daughters Christmas Gift. I honestly lost all hope until Christian from Richmond and Peter location (downtown Toronto) came up with the most amazing solution. His thorough knowledge of the stock carried in this massive store brought me exactly what I needed. I was thrilled but not as much as my daughter this morning when she opened her gift and found the exact thing she wanted. Thank you Christian and Michael’s for always coming through. Had a same day delivery

Had a same day delivery. Spent over $100. 10 hours later my order was delivered. They delivered me a $6 house for a child to paint. Customer service has done nothing to resolve my issue or refund me my money. Anytime I’ve talked to anyone they literally do not understand what the problem is and keeps telling me to return my items to the store if I want a refund. I DONT EVEN HAVE THE ITEMS. I have gone back and fourth via email and phone and not one of their representatives is willing to resolve this issue. Needless to say that was the last time I shopped there after realizing how little this company truly cares about their customers.

Great selection & service at Richmond north …

I was very impressed with the Richmond North location, Staff were pleasant, and very helpful in directing me to locations where I could find 2 specific kinds and sizes of photo albums. Selection was great! Store was clean! Service and checkout quick and accurate.
