Don't order online!

Placed an order on Sept 29th. Received a shipping confirmation on the same day saying my order was on its way. Checked the tracking # today, 5 days later, & it's still only label created so they out and out lied and never shipped it. I contacted customer service and explained my order was time sensitive, and that I needed to cancel my order and get a refund so I could try to find replacements locally. They refused to cancel or do anything at all because "a label was created", & are forcing me to wait 4-6 business days in case I receive my order, which is impossible because they haven't even shipped it out yet. I'm a small business owner & don't have excess funds to be throwing around to cover for a big business like Michael's ineptness and dishonesty.

Employees

I had an awesome experience. The girl at the register was so so helpful. 3 days last week I went back to buy more storage cases. Her name is Misty. She was so polite and I think an awesome employee. She deserves recognition. Thank you Misty and Michaels Marlene Canterbury

Helpful assistance

I had trouble getting correct information about art paints & craft paints. The first 2 team members didn’t know enough and summoned a more knowledgeable team member, Diamond. Diamond offered options and helped me find exactly what I needed. The checkout staff had problems, and once again Diamond came over and solved the issues. She was courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Dominque and Chris - Kentlands!!

Dominque and Chris were the friendliest customer service reps I have dealth with in awhile. I was walking around the "clean" store and Dominique offered me a cart. Chris pulled my items down earlier that I called in for pick-up. They worked so well together and were so friendly. We live in Germantown, but I will come back to this store b/c of their helpful ways!! Good job Michaels for hiring these two!!

I didn't get my paint

I didn't get my paint. I got an easel i had no idea I had to completely assemble. I got my brushes and canvases fine. That was all I ordered. It did come here very quickly. I am satisfied with what I did receive except I thought the easel would be at least partially assembled. I want to thank michaels for sending my paint today. Nice to fix the problem asap.

The worst experience of ordering…

The worst experience of ordering online. Cost to ship was $15.95. I ordered 10 - 12x12 frames. What arrived was one frame for $7.99 and had to pay shipping for the one frame of $15.95. Not right to treat customers this way. When Michael’s changes the order, why not contact the customer to check if the order is still wanted.

Awful services on Kentlands frame's…

Awful services on Kentlands frame's department. Same awful services on phone's call. No one pick the phone; 25 m wait. Nothing, Nada. Cero. So frustrate. Michaels has the worst review on the earth from years. Why they never fix it? Ours fault, we should stop doing business with them.

Customer service is A JOKE

I had placed an online order and I had a store credit (from an ONLINE ORDER). The website is TERRIBLE and wasn't accepting the credit. I thought it was because I was trying to do it from my phone so My Husband tried it from the computer, it STILL didn't work so He started an online chat with a representative of Michael's who said to just proceed, it would come off at the end. It didn't. My Husband called Michaels customer service to try to straighten it out. This was over an $80 order. The customer service lady told Him that the credit could only be used in the store that we got the credit from (even though it was a delivered online order NOT from this store). My Husband asked Her to cancel the order then and She just said "OK, ty for calling customer service". The order was NEVER canceled. I tried to cancel it on the email confirmation order page and... What do you know... That didn't work either!! I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars at this store and They are ALWAYS screwing up my orders. I'm done, don't shop here unless you want to WASTE your time and money!

Pricing

I am very pleased with our local Michael’s but pricing for the items I bought was high. Products I purchased used to be made of ceramic. Years ago they changed to being made exclusively of moulded plastic with no discernible price change. I realize this is not entirely a Micheal’s issue as base prices are set by the manufacturer but I am disappointed that a significant drop in quality was not matched with a drop in price. Just a pet peeve.

I love going to Michaels . Today I found a real bargain!!! A soap making kit marked down to 10 dollars!!! Great little gifts to have on hand at home.

Visited your Owen Sound Ontario…

Visited your Owen Sound Ontario location today September 21/22 Transaction was great cashier Janet was helpful and very pleasant. Made transaction pleasant and she thank me and wished me a good day. Credit to Michael’s who still provide checkouts instead of other stores who are going to self checkout, great customer service not provided at these locations. Don’t get paid to do what one of their employees do. Keep people in a job rather than make customer do the job and not get anything for doing it.

Save your money!

I brought in 2 large prints that were already framed and asked that they just change the color of the mat on each one. I should have walked out after hearing the price because they charged $600. just to put in a different mat ($300. each). I completely regret paying that ridiculous price especially after then taking 2 more prints to Hobby Lobby and paying only $200. to have them completely reframed! Also, Michael’s makes you pay up front and Hobby Lobby doesn’t have you pay until they’re done. And Michael’s ordered the wrong size mat so it ended up taking 3 weeks before they even began to work on them. So disappointing!

Had some Items in my online shopping…

Had some Items in my online shopping cart. Which showed in stock at my local store on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. I decided to just drive over there. When I got there none of the items where in stock. A waste of time and gas. Sales associate was rude. The cashier look like she didn’t even wanna be there. Not a great experience!

What terrible customer service!!

What terrible customer service! The representative was rude and refused to assist when the link she sent me with a return label was broken-she told me try a different browser which I did-that didn't work either. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she became argumentative, did not want to and then just left me on perpetual hold. I am still on hold 30 mins later! I tried to find a way to contact customer service to put in a complaint (and get my return processed!) but clearly Michaels does not make that available to its customers. Thanks Michaels, I'll never purchase from you again!

Excellent visit to Brook Highland…

Excellent visit to Brook Highland location. They had a wide variety of Seasonal Flowers and accessory picks to choose from. I always spend more than I plan to! Friendly staff and very clean store. I feel safe, visiting this location.

Framing & Seasonal High End Flowers

I use Michael’s for their matting & framing, which they do an excellent job in the Fort Lauderdale/ Pompano store. However, I have purchased all my seasonal flowers for over 15 years from Michael’s and the quality and quantity of the higher end flowers has very noticeably declined and the prices have really increased. I am sure I am not the only one that has remarked how DIRTY the ladies room is every time I go in it!!!

Excellent Customer Service

Went into Deerfoot Meadows Calgary Michaels to have an old frame fitted with a new poster. Cass (the employee working at the framing area) was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with everything. Fitted the new poster perfectly in a few minutes. Excellent customer service all around.
