Despite not having exactly what I…

Despite not having exactly what I needed, my cashier, Tyiona (sorry if I couldn’t read her name right on the paper), was amazing. I recently lost my young child and became overwhelmed when I was short in cash that I broke down. I have been waiting for a new debit card and she applied a coupon to help me afford what I needed to create a keepsake of his flowers. Her immediate assistance and compassion was appreciated immensely and I’m a grateful she was at the register that day. Thank you.

Manager on duty Beverly & Doug Rude Behavior!

Manager on duty name Beverly and her boss Doug were the most rude and insensitive people in the store. I’m an professional NBA chaplain shopping for gift wrapping for the less fortunate children and seniors this holiday season and wanted to purchase a tiny red basket of which they had plenty that were empty. When I asked Beverly if i could purchase she was the rudest person ever. I followed up by asking to speak with the store manager (Doug) and before he met me in the front Beverly had already said really nasty things about me to him on her headset (of which she assumed i didn’t hear). Not only did I hear her rude comments, but several other customers witnessed as well. If you’re out shopping and want to protect your holiday spirit, do not shop at the Michael’s store located at 4824 S Baldwin Rd, Orion Twp, MI 48359. I am extremely unhappy with the experience and I’m heading back to return my $200 plus purchase. The standards these days are unreasonably low. Avoid awful people like Beverly and Doug. They obviously don’t care about holiday cheer, children nor the elderly. I did explain to them what I needed the basket for as well as asked for other options for purchase. Neither were of any help. Very poor representative for the Michael’s brand. Not to mention the store was a wreck!

I Hate Self Checkout

I visited the Michael’s in Pelham New York. I notice they have four self check out lines and only two cashier lines!! I see the directions your store is heading and I don’t like self check out at all!!!

Unauthorized purchases being placed from my account

I’ve had an online account for a year or two but haven’t used it in a while. Just this last week I got an email confirming an order (I didn’t make). I checked my online account and sure enough, someone tried ordering a cricut with my card on file but having it sent to their address. Luckily the order was cancelled, probably because my card space was limited. I haven’t heard back from customer service but this should have never happened to begin with.

They are the sorriest people

They are the sorriest people. Paid for same day delivery, next day called about my order, was told it was at the store and I could pick it up. They couldn't tell me when it would be delivered as they rely on outside services for delivery. They told me I could call their corporate customer service. That took 2 calls, you can't understand the non American on the other end of the call and they don't know what they are doing. Day 3, still no delivery, called the store again and spoke to a "manager" who said my order was still at the store. She said they use Uber and other services for delivery and if she could find a number I could call them. I told her that was not my job to keep making calls, it was their job to provide the service they were paid for. She said I could have someone pick up the order to which I said "you mean I should do the job I paid extra for?" Are you kidding me, CANCEL MY ORDER. She said that could take up to 3 days for the refund to show up and I said...well I have been waiting 3 days for a same day delivery, so we will see. Good by....hung up.

When placing an order for pickup same day, it’s never ready and their excuse is we have over a hundred orders…don’t offer the service then? Also same day delivery takes forever and then the order doesn’t get closed out and you get emailed and texted about it for days and when you try to talk to someone at the Bellingham Ma store they are 100% of the time rude.

ALERT!!!!!!!

ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! first time purchase online for xmas gift -- a week later started receiving mails for other purchases ready for pick up in another state!!! disputed and had new card issued. WHAT???? michaels you are not able to protect your own website?????? shame on you!

Poor customer service

I recently bought frames from Michaels, that are now on sale, so I called customer service to see if they would price adjust. Because I bought them 8 days ago (and not 7) they won’t adjust the price. But I can return the other ones (which returns are good for 60 days) and rebuy for the discounted price. Dumbest thing ever, creating more work for both myself and employees, and extremely poor customer service.

SCAM

Similar to others, today I received two charges on my credit card for Christmas trees that I did not order. Then I received an email with the name & shipping address where the tree was being delivered. I contacted the lady on Facebook messenger & she told me she bought a tree off Facebook Marketplace today. So there is some scam where Michaels accounts are being compromised. They buy a tree for half off from FB, but the guy sends the tree from hacking Michaels accounts & keeps the money from FB ! Michaels does not care !

I bought a Christmas tree and…

I bought a Christmas tree and decorations on sale For my grandkids. I’m talking with our new neighbors, the Mom told me she had to tell her kids that there was NOT going to have Christmas this year . No $. I ran up to Michael’s on Hwy 6 to get them a tree. The small tree wasn’t on sale anymore, I spoke with LeRoy and Nicole explain the situation. I ask if they could possible give me the tree at the sale price I had bought them for 2 weeks ago. Without any hesitation and really BIG SMILES they said YES!!! This is a really BIG SHOUTOUT for both of them. Nicole and LeRoy !!! The family was sooo Happy and greatful. Thank you guys again for coming to the rescue and making our community one to be proud of 🌟🎊

They are in on the scams!!

They have decided to make it easy for criminals to scam your credit card info. Not only is their website not secure, they have a plan to make sure the scams are successful. As long as the online order is combined with an in-store pick up, the shipped portion cannot be cancelled. I called two minutes after I received an alert about two orders I placed with Michaels. They would not cancel the order. While my CC company is not making ME pay for the charge, Michaels is getting paid by them, so why would they stop it?? We the consumers pay in the end. I think a class-action lawsuit is in order!

Fraudulent Activity on My Account

I received a confirmation email from Michael's for an order I placed online at 3 am ET. Only I didn't place an order. I couldn't find a number to call so I had to wait on chat. The rep said they couldn't cancel the order so I would have to file a fraud report with my bank and cancel my card, which I did and I'm going to file a police report. Michael's website is clearly not secure and yet they tried to say that my cc info must have been compromised elsewhere and used online but it was my Michael's account that was accessed and they used my stored cc info (my only mistake) to place the order. I logged back in to change my password and when I did I received a google pop-up that my password was found in a data breach.

Stood in a long line on Saturday to find there was only one clerk and all other registers were self checkout! I was asked to use self checkout and I said no! I will wait. The assistant told me he would help me , was I paying by credit card, I said I don’t know until I knew the price because everything was on sale. He asked me why was I being so difficult in front of 15 to 20 customers. I said I am ok let everyone behind me use the self checkout I will wait. He kept after me until I went to self checkout and he said I can help you , I told him he can help and here is all this merchandise you can put back on the shelf. I will never shop there again. Before Christmas on a Saturday and you have one human checking out customers. You lost me as a customer forever!

If I could I would give them -0 stars!!! I would! WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER They toke money from my account without my consent and it was never returned ! They said to wait 5 days, it is almost a month and i am still waiting for the money to be returned to my PERUVIAN ACCOUNT. I pay with a debit card from Peru, for a gift to my friend in the US!!!

I placed an order to be delivered as a gift to my niece. They delivered the items under the wrong name (not the one I wrote) and separately. When I wanted to cancel the order, I couldn't. Very disappointed.

My first and only time attempting to do…

My first and only time attempting to do business with Michaels. Of the 36 skeins of yarn ordered, I received 12. An hour of customer service calls & chats got me nowhere. The customer service number published on their site is disconnected- not that calling is any help. Just start with a competitor & save yourself the headache.
