Scheduling & billing are made easy. Therapists & customer service are very nice and approachable. Takes my insurance! I love that I can have appointments either in person or online.
Your Patient portal sucks. You have no convenient way to schedule. Your providers are all over the place. All of these folks are just independent therapists. All Lifestance is is Customer relationship management. That's your whole job and you are not nearly good enough at it. I should be able to manage all my needs online for me and my family. But know, I have to call to schedule for every appointment. Every time I have to explain who it for, who the therapist is, what times are available and what when. All of this should be automated. That is not to mention how bad the the site structure is. Why is there not a link to Telehealth appointments in my portal? Why do I have to search in a 'Lobby'? What are the names of married people not updated? Why can I not list email addresses for my kids in the portal so they can receive their own links? Do better. Right now, your only value is that you have collected the therapists in one location. But you are not doing CRM right.
I've tried multiple times to schedule an assignment online. It says I have an account already, I don't. So I did the "forgot password", it never sends me an option to get a new password. Everything worked great until I tried to schedule an appointment, then they made it completely impossible to do so online.
Imagine discussing your mental health with the doctor & then mid-sentence getting interrupted to which he proceeds to turn on the TV to check the score of a soccer match because he had money on it. Unbelievable. That was my experience with Lifestance.
Things were going fine and then all of a sudden their billing just applied 500$ of charges for old visits that were already paid. Their billing system barely works as it is but I have no trust in them to actually fix or address this mistake on their end. If you want mental health help avoid this company, whatever help their therapist provide are completely nullified by the terrible experience of dealing with the company itself.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO WRITE DAILY REVIEWS IN REGARDS TO HOW UNPROFFESSIONAL AND UNCARING THIS COMPANY IS, AND IT ONLY ALLOWS ME TO UPDATE MY PREVIOUS REVIEW...SO I WILL DO THIS DAILY AS I WAIT FOR A RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER OR ANYONE IN LIFESTANCE WHO HAS ANY KIND OF COMPASSION OR CONCERN ABOUT RECEIVING THEIR PAYMENT IN FULL...NOT TO MENTION--THERE WAS NO NEED TO DROP MY HUSBAND FROM THERAPY WHEN ALL THAT WAS NEEDED WAS A CORRECT ICD 10 CODE....THE LEVEL OF UNPROFFESIONALISM THAT THIS COMPANY REPRESENTS IS UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have even contacted their corporate office, in hopes of some kind of response to resolving this EASY FIX... insurance will pay, just enter proper diagnosis code, please. I am assuming the owner would like to be paid...I sent an email to that person also--and I received a computer generated response. I would like to speak to a human being who will tell me that they have resolved and submitted the proper Diagnosis Code. THAT WOULD BE THE APPROPRIATE PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE FROM A COMPANY THAT IS INTERESTED IN RESOLVING THIS AND RECEIVING PAYMENT IN FULL. I love my therapist, he’s helping me with everything I’m going threw. I thought talking to a therapist was a waste of my time. Since I started talking to my therapist I felt comfortable and secure and I know I can trust him with anything I say. I’m glad I decided too take that step in reaching out to get help. Thank you Doc

I see both my Psychiatrist and Psychologist here. I am very happy with both. They get me! Easy to talk to and discuss whats going on in my life.
Impossible to reach them...Everything has to be done through their portal. My last Therapist left the company and I never received a call,email,or text advising me. I then had to scramble and get a new Therapist assigned to me,in order for me to get my prescriptions. I just had a teleconference visit. It was very short and impersonal. I had write several messages in the portal in order to remind my NEW Therapist to call my RX's in to CVS.And most importantly, God forbid if you forget to pay your Co-pay. I'm not happy with this company, however I feel stuck due to the fact, that I need them in order to obtain my RX's.
LifeStance made finding a therapist easy for me and I've never felt awkward while there. The initial scheduling and billing is a bit clunky, but worth it. My therapist has been a huge help to me over the past 2 years and, unless she moves offices, I've no plan on going anywhere else!
I feel Lifestance Health is committed to the financial aspects of their business but has absolutely no commitment to bettering mental health nor their patients. I do not recommend Lifestance Health because there is no communication from Lifestance Health to their patients when they have changes or updates with their therapists. Lifestance Health can; answer or respond very quickly to an inquiry about booking an appointment with their therapists, collect your personal and financial information, book an appointment with a therapist they recommend, charge insurance, and send a bill.
Recently today on 9/24/2024 around 11:00 am my little sister named Emily had an appointment and called ahead of time with her fiancé who was driving her. To say that there was horrible traffic and could be a little late. The people on the line said it was ok because they called ahead of time. While getting there she received a call from a woman who works the front desk yelling at my sister. My sister and her fiancé then went into the building confused on why she was yelling on top of her lungs at my 21-year-old sister and her 22-year-old fiancé. There were 10 other patients in the room watching this, which if need evidence they are there to ask for more information. The lady who works within your company made my little sister who suffers heavily from mental health issues have a mental breakdown in the patients waiting room. The doctor heard the commutation and tried to ask what happened, and the security who was being abusive, tried to lie about what happened and the doctor took my sister back to the room and tried to calm her down. I am furious about what happened and want that lady's name, you cannot act like that in a doctor's office people suffer from different mental health illnesses. Over all used to be great but now very aggressive people working the front !
I love my Therapist, my Psychiatrist made things mighty difficult and I’m transitioning to a new one. The billing team is a joke and I’m considering leaving them due to this. There is a 300 dollar charge for something that isnt it? I reached my Max way earlier. Trying to reach billing has been a taxing experience.
If your provider leaves you waiting, unless you wait for no one to show for the whole appointment. You will be marked as the one missing that appointment. This is a scam, absolute trash. Please avoid. And I do have screen recordings and screenshots of my waiting in the waiting room while my provider is discussed to me as not being online at all.
