Feit Electric Reviews

(Bit of a rant) I got their 5M LED strip as a birthday present and it worked great until suddenly after only a month and a half, it stopped working at a certain point of the strip which was only about 2 feet along the wire. It was at an angle but I had thought it was fine because I followed the instructions on the packaging of to not bend it over 90°, I folded it at 90° on the flat side where it was able to bend very easily. If you are looking for LED strips you are better off buying the cheap ones off amazon than this rubbish which makes itself seem good with their high price instead of their actual product quality. the only good thing about the product was that it was bright for the month and a half that it lasted, I am now having to spend more money to replace that light strip and there is a ZERO percent chance I will be getting that same one, even if I was gifted the same light strip again I wouldn’t set it up and would instead buy one of the cheaper ones off amazon

Bought their 5W (40W Replacement) Soft White (2700K) E26 Base A15 Clear Glass LED Bulb in 2022 at a hardware store and it began flickering (under normal power conditions) in 2025. An LED bulb only lasting 3 years is kinda pitiful. The color temp and brightness was great, but I expect a longer life out of a LED product. Their website claims it lasts 13 years if using for 3 hours/day. I admit I was using it for a lot longer than that per day (6-14 hours), but still other brands' LED bulbs can be in use 18 hours a day and still last >10 years.

Purchased over 40 some sets of LED type b 8 ft bulbs supposed to last 50,000 hours they only lasted 2 months starting to try to get refund back took over two and a half months to get money back still dealing with bulbs going dark and dead Fiat electric says they're not going to cover the rest of the bulbs what a piece of crap company worst place to go ever what a waste of time they need to go out of business. Worst company ever when you make a bad decision think of Fiet electric.

Most piece of crap I ever learned own in my life will never buy this again it's going back to Menards I'll never buy another one piece of junk piece of junk

Just another piece of modern technology that does not work, LED Smart light bulbs, wont pair with anything, non existent instructions, so disappointing. App is just not intuitive will not recognise light bulbs even manually.

Not bad...I've been using Feit indoor plugs and bulbs for over a year. The only issue I have is for some of the plugs that are near end of the network reach...they become "non-reachable" to make changes but they still follow the schedule that they are programmed with. I also have speakers, vacuum, heat and A/C connected through the network and I think that Feit's products hold up well, function properly and while I know that there are hundreds of networked bulbs and plugs to buy, these are really good. They have held up for over a year now.

Light will not pair with phone. I tried 12 times. Step by step with instructions from Feit and nothing. Connected to our 2.4 GHz Wi-fi network, less than 2' from the router and still won't pair. We will be returning this item.

DO NOT buy Feit LED bulbs. I started using them about 2 yrs ago. I bought the packs of bright white floods from Costco to replace can bulbs. I liked the color, brilliance, and dimmable quality. I ended up buying 200 and installed throughout whole house. When the first one failed after about 3 months, I dismissed it as a fluke. Since then every single bulb has failed inside 6 months. They either fail outright, or start flickering, which is worse. I'm going back to incandescent rn and the funny thing is they're outlining the LEDs by a factor of three in most cases. The pricing while more competitive now is simply not justifiable. There will never be savings in electricity usage if you're constantly replacing the bulbs. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I will never but another Feit product, period.

Bought a 2 pack of LED 3 WAY dimmers from Costco After 1 yr one of the dimmer rocker switch broke. (switching it on and off does nothing) In yr 2 the other dimmer rocker switch failed. In my 70+ yrs this has never happened. Absolute junk

I explained that the LED light bulb lasted less than a year, so instead of them just sending one they sent a pack of two, and delivered in a timely manner as stated. Great customer service

Absolutely the worst product I have ever seen. 100% laziness 100% crap. Nothing about this company is good, and I mean nothing. First off, you can only use the lights if you put the light in a certain position, otherwise it just won’t work, you can’t bend the lights either, also when I put the lights in this position the entire strip just decided it wanted to stop working. Now I’m left with a £40 strip light that doesn’t even work. Save your money and buy a 50 pence light off temu or TikTok shop. Trust me even they are 10x better than this dog water of a product.

50% failure rate within 20 minutes on 100 watt replacement, 25 % failure on 60 watt replacement within 1 week .Bought from costco . Having bought 20 assorted to change from other bukbs. Have stored them in boxes for a while and used them to replace others, would not touch them ever again, expensive and unreliable

Awful bought smart led strip light from feit electric fron costcos for 23£ set them up and everything to find out they do not work they turn on flicker green then go back off.!!! Do not buy from this dumb company no wonder everyone gives them bad reviews the app doesn't work either it's all crap do not buy from this scam company and not impressed costcos for stocking these!!!

Bought a 4-pack LED lights from Costco in Australia for $ 30 approx. The application that needs to be installed is sooo full of ads, that it is impossible to distinguish between what is requird for the lights to work and what are ads. It did not help that the app uses different names from FEIT so you never know what you are signing up for. Finally set up the account with Feit and got the lights working - at least they switched on and off. Did not buy the premium app that costs about as much per month as the 4 lights. However, integrating it with google was not working. It said the email account could not be found. I made sure I used all lower case characters, logged out of the silly feit app and logged in again to make sure my account does exist. Still no luck. So between the crazy pop up ads and the functionality with google, this product is failing.

again here we go with Feit.. My camera shows encrypt and Carlos spoke to me 3 days ago and was not able to help..so allegedly they were escalating it.. and CRICKETS.. not a word.. I have this camera for protection of my property and what good does it do???? I WOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE PRODUCT from them.. they are garbage

Bought a 3-Way Wireless Wall Switch via costco. It worked great till it just stopped working a few months later. More specifically the remote turns on the light, but then they just shut off after 15 seconds. An online search showed that this is a common issue. I contacted them, perhaps it was reengineered and fixed. They kindly replaced it and again all was great for a few more months, then it stopped working again. I contacted them again and was told the replacement unit does not extend the warranty. Hummm. Guess this is a product that never lasts more than a few months. UPDATE -- They agreed to send yet another unit as a replacement. That is appreciated. They did reiterate this does not alter the warranty and they would not be able to offer any more replacements should this one fail.

My experience with LIFX, now under Feit Electric, is a warning for any potential customer. After purchasing an expensive product, I found myself abandoned by the company when they stopped supplying essential power adapters. Promises of availability turned into years of waiting. When finally escalated to a support manager, Holden, the response was dismissive and evasive, shifting responsibility to previous owners and undermining my status as a long-time customer. Holden’s cold reference to me as a "former customer" is an insult, considering my continued purchases. This blatant disregard from LIFX is appalling. It reveals a company more interested in hiding behind legal technicalities than supporting its loyal customers. Such a lack of accountability and respect is not just disappointing; it’s a betrayal of customer trust. This experience is a clear sign: LIFX, under the helm of Feit Electric, has failed its customers spectacularly. Beware of a brand that treats loyalty and customer service as afterthoughts.

Several years ago I bought a Feit dusk-to-dawn light bulb, based on a favorable company review in the Costco members' magazine. When the daylight sensor locked up a few months later, I wrote a letter expressing my disappointment, but didn't expect much of a response. A few days later a new bulb arrived, with a letter of apology. That bulb performed perfectly for years longer than expected.

I enjoy the multi-color smart bulbs and their accessibility within the app.

eyes sad Feit ElecTRICK provides MisLeading Directions!!!! instructions say to cut led light strip and use links too connect the led strips; thing is , once cut ther is no way to link the light strips. How LOUSY of Feit, i suspect they make directions deliberately misleading; how un-useful!!!!!
