Great response to product failure
Several years ago I bought a Feit dusk-to-dawn light bulb, based on a favorable company review in the Costco members' magazine. When the daylight sensor locked up a few months later, I wrote a letter expressing my disappointment, but didn't expect much of a response. A few days later a new bulb arrived, with a letter of apology. That bulb performed perfectly for years longer than expected.
