esure Reviews

I took out a car insurance policy, but just after paying online I realised that my current policy had automatically renewed. Hence I tried to cancel the Esure policy but there was no way of doing this. No cancel option on the website. No email address to use. No phone number to contact. Basically my money has been taken for a policy that is not needed and there no way of getting it back. Hopefully someone from Esure will contact me when they read this review as it is the only way of communicating with them. Update - they read the review and gave me an email contact to cancel my policy!

Easy to get a quote Fair and reasonable price plus you don’t have to auto renew

Web site is easy to navigate through the form to get a quote. The quote was not the lowest in price. I am hoping that I have made a good choice of insurer.

Quick and easy to sort out insurance, however I can’t find a phone number for any help

Great car Insurance quote. Competitive pricing.

Very cool thank you

Good stuff thanks

Got my home insurance renewal much cheaper, saved over £200 Well worth it, I'm glad I searched on compare the market.

Easy to navigate although more info on cover amounts would be better

Very simple and straightforward transaction.

It’s not so much about the experience. I was very disappointed to learn, after I had paid and taken out the insurance that there would be no direct communication with the company and everything has to be done online. There don’t appear to be any telephone numbers.

Didn’t experience any issues getting the quote or taking up the policy

Just signed up online for another year on home insurance and can I register with the esure app ... no . Where ever i go it says sign in but no where does it say register with esure.. I will wait for my documents and if they don't come within 14 days I'm withdrawing as there app don't work..

Price was fair for the cover I chose. Won't know how good Esure are until I need to make a claim, which I hope I won't need to do.

Simple to check everything and to set up

Absolutely shocking behaviour!! Had abit difficulty paying my car insurance as I’ve just started a new job so needed to wait until I had the payment. Yesterday September 12th 2025 phoned up to make it and was told my insurance would be getting cancelled and they would need full payment to continue £680 the remaining as I pay monthly. Also the lady I spoke to wasn’t helpful at all and had the cheek to say that they didn’t want any financial burden putting on to me? which surly must of been some sort of joke as they expect me to pay £680 by the 23rd of September ‘how does that work’ surely that’s the opposite!!!!! So I don’t know what I’m going to do because if I cancel I’ve still got a payment to make unsure how much it is. My I also add this is the second year with this company first was fine no problems but this year total opposite. Bit of useful information for ESURE!!!! Look after your customers… Also phone call was recorded as I could tell by the start something was up with the lady speaking manners cost nothing…..

Be very careful choosing this company for insurance policies, their departmentshave very poor communication, they are unaware of each other procedures. Review your policies you have with them. I tried to claim on a stolen car key, my policy said I could claim for up to £500 but, after a lot of time, I was told the excess was £695, the same would be for a £100 car seat, £695 excess.. I also might mention the 3 days of calls it took to get to this point. One that took 2 hours. I won't be using them again. I would advise others to do similar.

Quick and easy to understand

It was easy to use also you should have a section that acknowledges of being a named driver of another policy to keep your NCB policy current.

Online system so clear to follow and premium very competitive.
