Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review…

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

KIA couldn't care less .......

After a long argument over 4 faulty alloy wheels where the finish is failing through no fault of ours, we decided, against our better judgment, to allow Kia to send them for refurbishment. They use the Wheel Company for the repairs....... Alloys came back in an atrocious condition. Alloys themselves have been damaged during the stripping process, diamond cut finish is appalling and the lacquer appears to be opaque or colored on the face - an absolute joke. Kia Stourbridge were embarrassed and said they wouldn't be paying for the refurb work. AND the technician damaged the finish putting them back on ! We have asked for new alloy replacements. This has been refused by Kia Customer Care - which needs renaming Kia We Dont Care - and unbelievably, we are told they will need to go back to the Wheel Company AGAIN for them to refurb them again - seriously ! I'm not going away and about to go legal AVOID - or be prepared to be let down by a company that simply doesn't care. PS We will NEVER by a Kia again ..........

A ZERO star option would be more…

A ZERO star option would be more appropriate. We purchased a Kia Stonic in Nov19 and have experienced a re-occurring electrical fault (and poor customer service) four times now. Each time I telephone Kia, I’m told their service department is fully booked for the next four to six weeks. (I’m unsure if this is because the garages don’t get paid for faults covered by the warranty, or they are inundated with other EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED customers booking in their substandard vehicles) The vehicle went in to Kia at the beginning of Dec20 for the forth time and despite them having claimed to rectify the problem, the electrics have gone again! I called the garage on Tuesday to advise them the fault was back, only to be told ‘it needs booking in’ and the earliest available slot is in February... REALLY??? I can only assume they have had to cut costs to fund their ‘name in lights’ at the NYE Ball Drop in NY... Maybe Kia should allocate their resources more wisely?

Charged £188.00 for one new tyre by Kia…

Charged £188.00 for one new tyre by Kia dealership in Colindale also known as Hummingbird motors. Be careful if you hire a car off these with or without insurance as when I returned mine with a tyre pressure warning I was told after inspection there was a nail in the tyre. I was sent a photo of alleged tyre with rusty nail protruding from middle of tread. I sent on to a friend in motor repair business who said if it was to the sidewall then repair is more tricky but fine to repair in the middle of the tread. I wasn’t given any time to contest this claim and to see for myself as they deducted the £188.00 from my £250.00 deposit cover. I feel this arrangement is open to abuse so would advise to be very careful if you decide to use this company as you may find yourself out of pocket as your money is in their hands to make such a claim. Btw this must be the first time in my life I have bothered to write such a review as the only other one was a positive one.

WARNING kia sportage bonnet opening…

WARNING kia sportage bonnet opening while driving. My father was coming back from shopping yesterday with my mother and 2 grand kids in the back he was doing about 30mph and the bonnet flew open causing the bonnet to twist and also the brackets to twist causing damaged the A panels Luckily no one was hurt. I tried to phone kia customer care yesterday but it was shut due to it been a bank holiday so I got through to the senior advisor asking what they can do and if they can get someone out to assess the problem obviously the catch/locking mechanism has failed all I got it's not covered in warranty you will have to get it took on a recovery truck to your local branch for them to have a look I explained my dad is a pensioner and he shouldn't have to pay anything surely you could get someone to pop out to look at it as this is a serious issue with the car, I couldn't get through to him he just kept repeating the same answer and wasn't bothered that this could of killed them and other motorists on the road. I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH PLEASE PLEASE GET YOUR CARS LOOKED AT AS I WOULD HATE THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE AGAIN. He said this hasn't been an issue before so obviously my dad is the first to experience this. I wouldn't dream of buying a kia after this experience with the car also customer care as they dont care about the customer

Bought a new Sportage from Stevenage…

Bought a new Sportage from Stevenage Ken Motors in October and was look after by Chris and other members of the team. Couldn’t have asked for more. He was helpful, attentive and honest which we liked most about him. He was very funny...even my name liked his charming ways! Once I returned my old Sportage and received my new one there were still a couple of things outstanding which he was quick to help me with. Thanks again Chris!

Breath of fresh air.

Wow this garage is in a different league. My experience of garages involves much sucking of teeth, shaking of heads and expensive bills. Acorn Kia went out of thier way to sort out the repair to our car made it as inexpensive as possible and the whole experience was wonderful. What a breath of fresh air Kia at Burntwood is, lovely friendly people who make you feel valued and are polite, efficient and knowledgable . Whilst everyone I dealt with was wonderful I do have to single out Natalie as giving us some marvellous service,so helpful and friendly.

bought a brand new KIA piccanto 2 1.2

bought a brand new KIA piccanto 2 1.2 started juddering when starting off after two weeks old about 150 miles , returned it to be told by mechanic there is nothing wrong it is perfectly normal , thought maybe car needs more running in , it gradualy got worse , I returned it again after about 600 miles , they said it was a known fault but they had no fix for it ? one was imminent , they would as a gesture of good will replace the clutch (good will ! it had a 7 year warranty) , after a another 150 miles or so the car became virtualy undrivable due the the violent juddering what trying to start off in the mornings . Ended up returning the car ( in tears) and asking them to buy it back at any price as I was scared of driving it any longer . needless to say I lost £3000 in selling it back , they did at least buy it . will never buy another kia as long as I live .

Regret switching to Kia...

Had delivery of my Proceed in January with poor quality painting on front sensors (which were rectified quickly) and a defective heating vent which was eventually fixed in June!! ... but car came back with marks near replaced vent, panel not properly refitted and scratch marks, (maybe from tools?) on inside drivers panel. Despite being told in early September it will be rectified, it is now almost December and STILL not rectified. Not even an update since being told that they will put a plan together.... I WILL be going back to Audi as my company car... I regret leaving Audi and that i have another 2 years with Kia!!!!

7 Year Warranty??????????>

have had my Kia Sorento KX3 for just over 6 years and covered 42,000 miles. Already had all five road wheels replaced under warranty due to corrosion. Now had the same problem again (reported in April / May, to dealer Kia Owned). Inspected by dealer in July, heard nothing until I chased in October. Dealer would not admit it was a warrany issue but said it was because I didn't clean the back of the wheel???? Very unhappy with the result so contacted Kia customer care. Well that name is a joke as they don't care. They did offer "as a gesture of goodwill" to change the wheel but would not admit is was a warrany issue and refered me back to the dealer saying it was the dealer who made the desission. Contacted the dealer again and was told by the service manager to clean the inside of the wheel every time I wash the car, which I do to the areas that are accessible from outside the car using a purpose made wheel brush. Shame on you Kia you have just lost a sale of a new Sorento. My advice treat the 7 year warranty with caution, really would now not reccomend a Kia.
