Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review…

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

Corrosion on Kia Sorento Alloys

I have a Kia Sorento GT Line on a 19 plate 20,000 on the clock. Never been off road. I have corrosion on all 4 alloys. Took to Kia Agent in Aberdeen and was advised there was no sign of any external damage on wheels. Now I am being advised by Kia on the inspection of photographs that damage is was caused by stone chips how they can tell that from just a photo is beyond me. I have found forums from other Kia owners with similar problems.

Having had a PPF fault for the past…

Having had a PPF fault for the past year and told by Kia dealers to use car more on journeys, I was surprised to learn that this fault will cost me money to sort out. So much for a seven year warranty on a less than two year old car.

CORRODED ALLOYS

After 3 years the alloys on my Kia Rio deteriorated,I was told by Bognor Slate Barn Kia dealer that it was stone chips, I further found out it was oxidation which can be caused by the manufacturing, they then changed their minds and said I had compromised them, I informed customer care at Milton Keynes, also got in touch with the CEO of Kia UK the CEO of Kia South Korea and the motor ombudsman, they all agreed with the Kia Bognor office, as a customer we have no chance against the big corporate companies, it also seems that the alloy problem has been a long ongoing problem, which is why they have removed it from the 7 year guarantee.

2016 Kia Sportage Paint Flaking and Rusting. Warranty Denied

Our 2016 Kia Sportage with 33,000 miles on the clock has severe issues with paint flaking from the bottom of both rear doors. The paint has been slowly eroded by small particles being thrown up from the front wheels towards the back of the rear doors which flare out towards the rear wheel arch. In fact, there is a protective clear sticker on all Sportages to help reduce this effect but on our car, the stickers have been affixed approximately 1cm too high on both sides which has stopped them from serving their purpose. We took the car to Ken Jervis to claim under Kia's supposedly industry-leading warranty but it was rejected by the service manager as his opinion was that we or a previous owner had knocked both of the doors on high kerbs. There is absolutely no evidence that the doors have been bashed and the car was immaculate when we purchased it from an authorised Kia dealer with only a few miles on the clock. Even to a layman, it is obvious that the damage has been caused by the sandblasting effect of fine particles eroding the paint surface where the stickers should have been protecting it but Ken Jervis flatly rejects this theory even though I have pointed out to them that every other Sportage on their forecourt have the stickers fitted in a lower position along the base of the doors. If the doors had been chipped by scraping them on kerbs then surely the paint would have been scraped at the far corners and the damage would not have been consistently in the same place on both sides. The paint is perfectly intact in the far corners and has only come away in the places where the stickers should be protecting it from erosion. I am the first to admit that we haven't had the required 24 monthly anti-corrosion checks carried out by a dealer but the underlying cause of the issue clearly lies with the fact that the stickers were put in the wrong place at manufacture and I would have expected Ken Jervis and Kia to acknowledge this fact and show some goodwill but sadly this has not been the case. We have simply been brushed aside with a shrug of the shoulders and a pathetic excuse. Quite frankly, their attitude towards us stinks! I am sure that most Kias are purchased on the promise of the extended warranty they offer but please be warned that in our case it's not been worth the paper it's written on. I am now taking this matter up with the motor ombudsman and will be looking at purchasing a new car through the Holdcroft group who have recently been very helpful in fixing an issue on my sons Corsa which was dealt with efficiently, free of charge and without question or quibble.

My 4 year old (22500 mile )Kia Soul has…

My 4 year old (22500 mile )Kia Soul has a fault on the alloy wheels which are bubbling. I have contacted Kia HO who completely dismissed this has wear and tear . But I had the same problem 12 months ago and they changed them under the 7 year warranty I would like to know what has changed. The dealership was a waste of time and said there was nothing they could do but did offer tho refurbish the at a cost to me so £120 per wheel with a discount on my next service. I feel Kia has changed the goal post when it come to there 7 year warranty and it's not worth the paper it is written on . The customer service from both the Dealership and Kia is non existent. A very dissatisfied Kia customer.

Kia Kirkcaldy

I bought a brand new Kia Sportage from Arnold Clark Kirkcaldy. The service was very good. The aftercare though has been fantastic. Unfortunately, I had problems with my new car so I had to reject it. This wasn’t Arnold Clark’s fault as the car was a factory order from Kia. The dealer has been fantastic and ordered me a new one and provided me with a courtesy car until my new one arrives. I always find that it’s when issues arise that you truly see what the company is like. How they dealt with my problem has been flawless and I will most definitely recommend them to anyone. I haven’t given 5 stars as Kia shouldn’t have allowed a faulty car to be distributed in the first place and I hope my replacement car doesn’t have the same problems or my time with Kia will come to an abrupt end and I’ll got back to Nissan!

Kia in Stevenage

Kia in Stevenage - Sell dodgy motors I Bought my first ever Kia Sportage GT line from this franchisee of Kia (in stevenage)..I've had the car only 6 months and the clutch, clutch bearings need replacing. The tyres tread were low but this branch refused to replace. Christian sold the vehicle to me and looking back there were warning signs of dishonesty. When I contacted them with my concerns they were rude, and had no intention of covering the cost to repair, despite knowingly selling me a dodgy motor. This branch have zero integrity and i would recommend anyone considering to buy a Kia to AVOID Stevenage branch altogether and go to Kia Mantles in Royston, the service is brilliant and the team are really helpful, pleasant and approachable.

Big design faults with their 4x4 cars

Big design faults with their 4x4 cars. If there is uneven wear between the front and rear tyres the gearbox winds up causing the whole system to break and fail. This means you need to rotate the wheels between front and back, and replace all 4 tyres at the same time. Fortunately mine happened on my Sorento whilst it was still just in the 7-year warranty so they they fixed the car which would have cost myself approximately £8,000. The car had done less than 50000 miles when it happened. Also air conditioning has had ongoing issues from new, and driver seat collapsed possibly due to the foam they used not liking the heated element in the leather seats. All car manufacturers have design issues but not all have a 7 year warranty to cover you which makes Kia a good choice Also book servicing on their website as it much cheaper than their dealers charge of you dont. I would buy another kia, but a 2 wheel drive, as apposed to BMW which id never touch again with a bargepole.
