Yuno kept charging even after switching and bills were generated and still not able to resolve that issue and they debit money in advance and hard to get back the money

Had a very positive experience speaking with Ajay today have been a customer with electricity for a year now switched gas to yuno also today to take up a dual fuel offer and got a cheaper deal than anyone else was offering.. Ajay couldn't be more helpful and patient with screaming kids next to me... he just kept saying take your time it's no problem...
I had cancelled my order and was still charged twice .I had spoken to 4 different customer care agents and Stephanie was the worst.would not listen to me and was dismissive to me. I felt very frustrated as I was paying for my gas twice.i did get it sorted i am still awaiting my money back and did get an apology but only when took matters futher.
Yuno energy just stole €670 I had put into my prepay and they also stole another €95 out of my bank a/c for a total of €765 for one month electricity bill. I have been in hospital for the last 7 weeks and it’s a small 2 bed apt with just myself there. Previous bills had been around €130 a month. Stay away from Yuno energy.

Rebecca was very friendly helpful, so 5-stars for her. It was a pleasure dealing with her. The reason for leaving Yuno Energy is that my forecast has gone up by over €200 per month bringing my monthly bill to almost €400 per month. I don't appreciate nor like the forecast model because, I've seen on many months the values for forecast, actual usage and amounts deducted from your account can be vastly different and very confusing and difficult to understand where exactly you are at any given time. There are pages that attempt to explain how this is calculated and still at the time of direct debit its a horrible surprise.

[12.05.25 Reply to Sasha] This is where the compromise issue is really concerning because I didn't submit a meter reading! And you are not addressing how this occurred. This is not in my favour at all. It's been a nightmare. It looks like Yuno finally paid the remaining amount on Friday 09.05 as I had to issue a charge back through my credit card. The fact still remains why someone else was able to log an incorrect meter reading on my account? [10.05.25 Reply to Yuno] I have been in contact with them numerous times since the overcharge in March. Two months later, it's not resolved. Loads of sorrys and I'm not accepting another one from you and nothing done. I was mistakenly overcharged in my March billing for gas. Over €900! They said a meter reading was submitted but not by me and they have glossed over this massive security issue that my account has been somehow compromised. They said they were refunding me over €700 on April 3rd with the adjusted amount for March and April. Fair enough. But they didn't refund me, they credited my account and then charged me for my electricity bill because gas and electricity are separate. After numerous calls and emails, I got an email saying they would refund €500 and no explanation why it is not the full amount. I'm 2 weeks today waiting for an answer. Thankfully I'm paying using my credit card and AIB have a charge back in progress. I can't wait for my contract to be over and get away from YUNO. Seemed great at the start until something went wrong. Complete nightmare.
I had difficulty paying my bill as my card was not being recognized. I spoke to Stephanie who was very helpful.
I signed up to a plan in January but was accidentally put onto a different plan. I discovered the mistake in April and after a couple of weeks of back and forth, and recalculating the amounts I should have been charged, I was put onto the right plan and refunded the difference. The customer service team were helpful, particular Ajay. Of course it should never have happened but these things can happen and ultimately everything worked out fine. I’d be happy to sign up again.
Not all my questions were answered. Your system automatically told me that the energy I send from my panel to the grid will be calculated in October 2024. We are in 2025 I responded. The agent that came up then to attend to me never answered that question.
I was very greatful to be served by Stephanie, great service indeed! She knew how to tackle the issue and solve it, it was straight to the point, I did not have to wait long and she went the extra mile in helping me further with my password after a tiring day from work! Super pleasant!
The customer service agent, Kyra was extremely helpful, polite and patient. Dhe handled my queries in a very professional manner and with great humor too. I would rate this lovely young girl at 100per cent.
Customer experience so far is good. My main concern is that Yuno offer only a rate of only €0.15 per KWh exported from your solar energy exported to the grid. This compares with -€0.19 offered by Electric Ireland. I only discovered this after I signed up with Yuno. So if you have solar panels be sure and take this into account.
