Account compromised, overcharged & refusing to refund
[12.05.25 Reply to Sasha] This is where the compromise issue is really concerning because I didn't submit a meter reading! And you are not addressing how this occurred. This is not in my favour at all. It's been a nightmare. It looks like Yuno finally paid the remaining amount on Friday 09.05 as I had to issue a charge back through my credit card. The fact still remains why someone else was able to log an incorrect meter reading on my account? [10.05.25 Reply to Yuno] I have been in contact with them numerous times since the overcharge in March. Two months later, it's not resolved. Loads of sorrys and I'm not accepting another one from you and nothing done. I was mistakenly overcharged in my March billing for gas. Over €900! They said a meter reading was submitted but not by me and they have glossed over this massive security issue that my account has been somehow compromised. They said they were refunding me over €700 on April 3rd with the adjusted amount for March and April. Fair enough. But they didn't refund me, they credited my account and then charged me for my electricity bill because gas and electricity are separate. After numerous calls and emails, I got an email saying they would refund €500 and no explanation why it is not the full amount. I'm 2 weeks today waiting for an answer. Thankfully I'm paying using my credit card and AIB have a charge back in progress. I can't wait for my contract to be over and get away from YUNO. Seemed great at the start until something went wrong. Complete nightmare.
