Yuno kept charging even after switching and bills were generated and still not able to resolve that issue and they debit money in advance and hard to get back the money

Took no responsibility for the mix up in dates, blamed me and the told me they will charge me €100 if I go to another provider. Avoid this bunch at all costs !

Inaccurate billing after 3 months no response from Yuno team. I’m currently have 2 accounts with Yuno, 1 residential account and 1 business account. I have problems with all 2 accounts. The business account was a nightmare. When I opened the business account, I gave the accurate gas meter reading number (to Damien, the Indian sale manager) but Yuno billing team didn’t use it. The billing team used the estimate meter reading from GNI instead. Therefore, my previous electricity provider issued me the wrong final bill with the wrong meter reading provided by Yuno. I have not used any gas unit since I opened the account with Yuno as the business is closed down but still I got the bill for around €1,107. I rang Yuno sale manager Damien many times to discuss the problem 3 months ago but no one from Yuno team correcting the bill with the correct gas meter number. I’ve phoned the GNI to correct the gas meter reading and the GNI team has updated the system to be the same but no one in Yuno team trying to fix the issue. I tried to call Yuno customer service team many times to explain the issue but Yuno customer service team kept saying someone from Yuno team will calling me back, but since then no one response to my enquires. Yuno customer service team are helpless and the billing team are unable to fix their inaccurate bill. My previous electricity provider had passed the case to the third party company to chase me for the final bill. I’m in the situation where I’m waiting for Yuno billing team to correct the final bill before I can make a payment. I’m busy working but so frustrating as it wasted a lot of my time to deal with the problem caused by Yuno billing team mistakes. The funniest thing is that no one in Yuno is taken responsibility to fix their mistake. I don’t know if there is manager team in Yuno as they are very careless to customers. The worst scenario is getting a solicitor to follow-up the case if no response from Yuno team. I definitely cancelling my accounts when the time comes as it’s too frustrating with their service.

I made a complaint to CRU about YUNO's fictional accounting practices. I am still waiting over 9 months for their "final decision letter", which they are obliged to issue. Please think twice before you switch to YUNO, because, you now know!
Don’t get fooled by their fancy advertising. Billing is a nightmare and inaccurate. My app has never worked properly and zero customer service satisfaction.
Have found Yuno energy billing so confusing, leaving then this month for another provider who I know will provide accurate accounting and billing. Already as soon as I have made the move to change the contract, our final bill seems to have skyrocketed. Lasted the year with them and gave up trying to decipher the bills, the advance paying us very confusing and so difficult to work out if it is accurate or not.

⭐ 1 star Absolutely appalling billing practices. If I could give zero stars, I would. After being with Yuno Energy, I’ve been left with 18 months of inaccurate billing, no actual meter readings since December 2023, and a total lack of accountability from their support team. Despite calling multiple times and submitting a meter reading on May 19th, I’ve been given completely conflicting information every time I speak to someone. First I was told I’d get clarity in 15 days. Then I was told I’d need to wait for my next bill. Today, on the actual billing date, I’m told I’ll need to wait another 14 days to even find out whether I’m in credit or in debt. Meanwhile, the Yuno app falsely showed my usage as accurate, not estimated — which I now know was completely misleading. Apparently, no readings have been received for over a year and a half, but no one thought that was important enough to notify me. Even worse, I was told to submit a manual meter reading (which I did), only to later be told that smart meter readings are automatically rejected by ESB — something Yuno should have known and explained clearly from the start. Now that I’ve switched providers, I’m being told I can’t even request a full breakdown of my bills — something I was never informed of until it was too late. To top it all off, I received a smug, templated complaint response trying to pass the blame to ESB Networks, with no real ownership or understanding of my situation. Yuno’s complaint team clearly didn’t read my case history properly, and their response was riddled with contradictions to what I’ve been told on the phone. This isn’t a minor issue. This is 18 months of incorrect billing, inconsistent communication, and no transparency about how final bills are being calculated. I have no idea if I’ve been overcharged, undercharged, or where I stand — and no one at Yuno seems remotely interested in resolving it. If you value accurate billing, honest communication, or basic customer service — do not go near Yuno.
I was with Yuno for a year and switched at end of contract only because I was getting a better deal elsewhere. Talked to Constance regarding cancellation, she was very helpful and friendly.
